Hi, I wanted to check if this is a bug before I even try going to the Github page. I have found that in some places you cannot delete an entry that you have saved and now want to remove it. I have two examples. Example 1 1) Edit a User allocating a role for example Flight Editor (Created in Roles) and save. He has access to flights 2) Now go back into the same user and press the little x to delete that role and save. 3) Go back into the User again you will find the he still has flight editor and access. Note this is the only entry in that field so it is not allowing you to return it to the previous empty st…

Hi folks, I have been into the phpvms docs and tried to download the latest stable version but when I click the link, it just opens then immediately closes the page. I have been onto the github page but can't find where to download the zipped files. The page I land at says "don't download the beta". I'm not usually this stupid but can anyone provide a link, or guidance as to where to find the installation files. Thanks Andy

Good day to you all I seem to be at a crossing where I have imported 22 pages of flights in with a default aircraft ie 737-800 now it shows up in all thoose flights, but when I add a new subfleet or aircraft it seems I have to manually edit all the fligths to add the new aircraft for the other pilots to choose from on all the flights, is there an easier way to do this ? otherwise if you have a massive schedule you have to edit each flight to add the aircraft, and to be honest im not looking forward to doing that. cheers Wazza

Hi everyone! Is it possible to install phpvms on a shared hosting environment (channel) using PHP 7.3? I currently installed the http://downloads.phpvms.net/phpvms-7.0.0-dev.tar.gz from the install guide. I’ve tried to follow along from other people having trouble but half of the files seem to be missing? local.config for example. I have a running site on Cpanel but things like the airport list is not functioning when I try and sign up a user. (i'm guessing that need to be added to a database, but I don't have the files needed to add it. What format do the airports need to be in? for the acars system to know what airport it …

hello guys we had a small error with our phpvms7 site though i dont know if it been pointed out or not yet but when one of my pilots went to book his return flight EGAA -> EGCC the schedules where gone ( don't know how ) we fixed the error by reuploading the flights.csv file overwriting the current flights we think this is a bug of some kind though we arnt completely sure what caused it just thought id post it on here to let you guys know about it anyways regards Michael

I just manually brought the hours flown on the network, I wouldn't have to add the hours currently flown by the pilot, since the option is already enabled in the PHPVMS settings, or could it be that I'm entering it incorrectly, missing decimals, commas, periods?

Hey all, my phpvms (latest Dev version on PHP 8.2)) has stopped emailing when I create a NEWS ITEM. It sent out the first one, but not since on the next 2 I wrote up. Email still going out when people register. Is there a log to review? Is the a way to mass email members beside news items? -Nacman

Hello, This is a vanilla installation of V7.03 with default skin we have started to build & customize. We noticed the Pilot profile page is missing some information compared to another previous test-install on our server. The "dark mode" picture shows the issue-affected page where the API key & other info are not displayed, the second picture (light mode) is from the previous V7 testing instance we had. Any ideas and suggestions are always very much appreciated.

I recently imported 4000 flights via admin/flights/imports. Only 3250 can be seen. What will cause the difference? What is the permiters or specifics that the import system uses to compare routes? Duplicate flights have been removed and all flights are marked as active prior to import on cvs exported from admin/flights/export. All flights are marked as visible. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I have been chasing down a reason my emails stopped going out the door. When I first set up the website, emails from News postings went out. We weren't flying yet. Then after a few days, no emails going out. Checked Logs in storage/logs and I didn't find anything that looked like email failure, quite the opposite, it said it sent 11 emails. I have an issue with sending mail from my freshly installed site (version 7). And I looked where to change the SMTP settings in what file. In a friends installation I did some time ago, I found that I had edited the env.php file. So I searched in the new site for that same file, but I cannot find it. However I also did find a config.php in the bootstrap directory. I did add the SMTP stuff in there, but that seems not to work. Wrong spot? I am using a mailadres from my hosting company. Help is appreciated. RobB

Hello, I have noticed that some pilots, for some reason, do not finish their flights, perhaps the simulator closed unexpectedly or the plane crashed, etc. When this happens, they close the simulator first and then the vmsACARS, and the plane stays on the map until they fly again The question is: Is it possible to remove those planes from the map without waiting for them to fly again?
