I agree Jeff. It is a real good thing that number is auto increment and unique or this system would have major issues real quick. Seriously, I would leave the numbers be the way the system gives them. On another note, you can edit the config file to say what numbers the ids start out at.

Ahh ok. I was unaware of that. When people talk graphics I get real stupid like. I don't know a layer from nothing.

I believe, and I stand to be corrected if I am wrong, that that info would be stored in the database and I find no where what so ever in the db that shows how many new messages one has in his or her mail box. I believe with out that info, pulling a number would be impossible. Now that being said, if you can code it, nothing is impossible. But as long as that info is not in the database, you are stuck in the mud so to speak.

Not sure if I can or not to be honest. I have never tried frames using phpVMS. I don't like frames. I use 1 on one of my sites and that is only because I have to. If I didn't have to I would not use it. I am rather short on time right now and to be honest with 3 kids and college and all and I know nothing about Joomla at all. I have never used it. I can take a look and try to frame a page or two and see what happens, but I can make no promises.

Hi Dave, I have been trying and trying for a couple months now to get a delete all to work with AIRMail. Do you think that is even worth trying? I can get it to check all but when clicking delete all, it only deletes 1 message. Just curious if you think it will work. Thanks. Ray P.S. You would really need to skin it to match your joomla. Iframe is not such a good idea. Search the net for security issues using Iframes. If you are in no hurry to open your VA, Might I suggest going with a local host server such as WAMP or Xampp? They are both free and easy to use. That would allow you to set up a website strictly for testing purposes and is a great way to learn. If you foul up your test site, hey, no big deal! It was only a test site anyhow right? And if you find yourself creating a skin that looks good and works the way you want it, back those files up regularly until you get it spot on. Also, I know that is not the answer you were looking for, but it is the one true correct answer. Try to search Joomla again. It has come up several times in the past. Try to get fancy with your search terms. Do not just search the word Joomla. If you take our suggestion and start a local host to learn how to skin on, do not be afraid to ask questions. Nabeel gives us a GREAT script to use for free, so in return, we all try to give free help when able. Sometimes it takes a day or so, but normally an answer is given in a timely manner. I have AIRMail running on one current stable release (version mentioned) and 2 test sites running the very latest bet and all 3 are working great.

It's looking good so far. I have been clicking this, pressing that, doing this and all of that and so far so good. I skipped the groups thing since you already know about it and have it on your to do list.

Yeah I hear ya man. I would love to 86 the manual pireps but I have one little problem doing that. ACARS devices from time to time fail. When they do, the pilot just lost a flight. If this happens to many times, they will split and go elsewhere. Now on the other hand, I know pilots that refuse to join a VA that allows manual pireps. Gotta be a way around it and show a confirmation page though. Hmmmmmmmmm.....

Yes from the Pilot Center. The pireps show up in the list if you go to Pilots and choose a pilot. But if you go to Pilot Center and click view my pireps, No reports have been found.

Hi Jeff. I got to thinking about it after I posted and this would work great for manual pireps, but not so sure about filing with any devices such as FS Pax, or KACARS or anything. I guess it is a matter of 6 in one and a half dozen in the other eh?

I have one more and I promise it will be the last one for a while. I am pretty dam satisfied with all the hard work you have done so far Nabeel. Kudos for sure! This one should be relatively easy to do compared to some of the other things you have done with the system. What I am thinking is, after a pirep is filed, it would take the pilot to a confirmation page and tell them some specifics of the flight. The specifics could amount to how much cargo or passengers they hauled, how much they made for the flight, how much money the flight made or lost, and maybe what types of aircraft are available for them to fly or something of that nature (if a VA chooses to limit aircraft type per rank). I just tried the regular file pirep and the dropdown works for the departure, but not for arrival airport.

I have this version running on a local hosted test site and I can verify that the drop down is there, but no airports show up in the list. The route I took to file the pirep was add schedule to bid, view bids, file pirep. And the new tpl file is in place in the core/templates folder.

Hi Jetstream. Chief, you are going to have all kinds of problems running vms on a free host. It is not a problem with the script, it is a problem with free hosts. The choke the service so bad that users get tired of nothing working, so they upgrade to paid hosting. Free hosting is a gimmick to get people to pay for hosting. If it works out for you, that is great! I wish you the best.

If you have the site online and are not logged in, there should be a registration form already to go for you. No need to code anything at all. As far as forums go, it has no built in forum. There is an addon forum built by Simpilot and repackaged and updated by Tom. That one can be found in the Releases thread in the addon utilities thread. And I think all you need to do to get the contact form to show up is add a link to it in your nav file.

HI Nabeel. Was giving this a test run on a WAMP server and it does not like to be installed fresh. I got the same error Vansers had 2 or 3 betas back from a few days ago. I found another error on the database connection test but like a moron I forgot to write down the error. After all was said and done, it did not install. Upon filling in the VA info and admin name and all that good stuff, I clicked Finish! and it returned to the same screen with the following: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 2You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 2 Followed by this: C:\wamp\www\krukair\install\includes\Installer.class.php 279 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 2 I have not tried an upgrade install yet. This was a fresh virgin install.

Did you try the print r thing on either of those pages to see what variables you can use?

yeah I originally tried that too and it did not work. I actually used the plain center tags and it worked. I hated to do it since the center tag is deprecated now days, but it worked.

Hi. You should read through the various pages in this thread. There is a way to make it show only the last X amount of months stats. I don't recall what page it is on though. I know for a fact it works. I use it on my site.
