I decided not to reskin, but rather integrate into a larger website. I did this by placing phpVMS inside an IFRAME and editing the images to match the rest of the site. Since I have a widescreen monitor, squeezing everything into the center third of the screen made no sense to me. for the moment I'm still left with too much space on either side, but will figure out how to place useful data or verbiage there, instead of uncused space. Since the main site is framed and the menu is in the top banner, but targets the main frame on the bottom I wind up with a lot of flexibility. Hi, I'm currently creating a theme for a VA. In my menu, I use: <div class="btn"><a href="#" title="Thing" style="border-color: #831029;">Thing</a> for making the menu (Without phpVMS). How can I intergrate it so phpVMS's menu works with this? Thanks.

so after tons of search, i figured out how to install PHPvms. now ive seen alot of people when you click on the site it shows all the PHPVMS stuff on the front page. how would i go about doing that? to clear it up.. i want people to be able to go to www.gocav-va.com and have them see the live map, whos joined.. etc.. do i need to reinstall PHP?

I remember there use to be a really nice video somewhere on this site where it showed you everything you needed to do to skin. Now there are only a few pointers that I can find in various places but no visuals. I checked the four topics made to "help" skin but im still stuck with a template and nothing else to do with it. Does anyone have any other kind of tutorial, video or pdf or something? I think it would help out a lot of people like me who need a refresher on the whole process. Heres the template I just finished.... I have changed the banner image now, and i also had to kill the quality to attach it I'm just doing this for fun/practice.

Hi, all! I am very new to skinning, and am, or at least attempting to , design my first skin from scratch. I am using a drop-down menu for it, but because the header has a pre-defined height in the CSS code, it gets cutoff. I tried taking out the predefined height, but the content of the page cuts off the drop-down menus that go below a certain haeight. I realize this is probably a stupid question to some of you, but any help is appreciated .

I'm attempting to get my news to display as: Date | Subject: Body but is coming out as Date | Subject: Body ----- After triple-checking my formatting I looked up the news table in the database - it appears that the body field has <p> tags attached to it when it posts... I dug all through the admin side and even into the SiteCMS files trying to see what I can tinker with to prevent/work around this but no luck. This is a clean install of phpVMS so no other files have been customized. Suggestions?

I've installed about 5 skins into my FTP so I can see which ones I like the best. The default phpVMS one works, and so do two others. But this new one (Zumeweb's Pacific) will not work correctly! Here is the error I get: Notice: The template file "/home/bluehawk/public_html//lib/skins/Pacific/header.tpl" doesn't exist in /home/bluehawk/public_html/core/classes/TemplateSet.class.php on line 248 And then the site is all messed up, showing only some old news info from the other skin, and what not. I'm trying to find a skin that works for me, since my old one (Skyline Green) isn't doing it for me
