my navbar keeps disapeering when I go to another page, then it reapears. Its like it has to reload the navbar at every page and it takes a second. It also does it in the pilot center sidebar. Check ut this link, http://www.canforce.org/index.php and if you navigate to another page, the navbar will disapear for maybe 3-5 seconds and it like reloads. I just started using Google Chrome lately, and discovered that there is a feature that allows other people to access your files (css, images, js, etc.). Is there a way to block Chrome from accessing your website? I am sure this is how some of our latest members have been getting (stealing) all their templates.

This is really getting on my nerves. I'm getting emails from pilots asking to be marked as active, so I do it, bu then they still get the error, and I look at the admin panel - they're inactive again! Pilots can't login, so they can't see schedules, so they can't fly... you get the picture... Whenever phpvms/vacentral website is innaccessable (i.e. will not load), I have a long wait whenever trying to access the admin centre. Additionally, whenever they go down I also have a long wait when filing pireps using kAcars and in some cases, the same PIREP gets submitted more than once. Hey guys, Just wondered what should be put in the fields named 'Weight' and 'Cruise' in the 'Add aircraft' part of the admin section. Should it be the weight of the aircraft unloaded or should it be the MTOW? I assume that the 'Cruise' field should contain the cruise speed in Mach? eg. '.78'? If the two fields don't affect the way that the phpVMS software works to calculate fuel costs etc. then I assume it doesn't matter what I put in there but clarification would be great. Hi all - new to the forums and phpVMS. Me and a friend are really excited about finding this software and we're pouring our heart and soul into starting up a VA over the next few months or so. I have questions of course, most of which I've been able to find the answers to, or with a little bit of experimenting, figured out myself. I do have one though (I've tried searching) - When a new pilot signs up to the website they automatically get a pilot's ID - is there a way to disable this? I think personally they should only get a pilot's ID once they've been activated by the site admins. If I've missed something, or there's an add-on that does this I would be really inter…

Hello y'all, My DB is hosted by a very nice and generous member as my provider does not support InnoDB. I would like to try to have it hosted by my provider and he gave me some info as how to do it. The requirement for PHPVMS to work is: PHP 5.2+ MySQL 4.1+ with InnoDB support All is ok for my provider except the InnoDB support but he told me that it is possible to have the InnoDB converted in something called Myisam. He said also that everything should work just fine after the conversion. My questions are: - Is it true that the DB can be converted in this format? - Is it true that PHPVMS will work just fine after the conversion? Thanks for your help. Alex

How do I make a hotspot on the header that links to somewhere. Specifically, I have the VATSIM logo on my header, and want to make a clickspot so it links to www.vatsim.org when clicked. I know how to do it in dreamweaver, but I'm not able to use dreamweaver. I have no clue what code to put in where, plz help.

Hello all, I'm having problems with some of the characters on my website. My site is in french, so I need accents like è, é, à , etc... As you can see on my frontpage (http://www.transquebec.org/operations/) the accents are not displaying correctly, but only in some places like the news of the menu bar... it shows a square instead. My DB is in UTF-8, my local.config also... I've tried everything... Thanks for your help! Eric

Several of our aircraft are in Category III rating. When a pilot reaches 80 hrs they are supposed to be able to view and bid for these Category III aircraft. However, pilots are complaining that even with 90+ hours, they still can not see category III aircraft. When I change their category to Cat II, they appear normally. I double-checked the aircraft category is set right, and that the aircraft is actually in the schedule. All seems good, but they still can't see them when they are listed as category III. Any ideas why?

I set up my ranks so all hours required are 0 and I'm going to assign them manually. When a new pilot signs up, their rank is newhire, but there is no newhire rank and no icon? I changed something somewhere to rank autoupdate false. Any help apprecieated, thanks

Looking at the Information page of a FedEx flight that was done, I noticed that this is not showing correctly: This should say 222846 lbs of cargo on board shouldn't it? I have the flight scheduled as "C" not "P" and I am using Custom kAcars. Thanks - Jeff
