When your flying the map shows up but one area does not show up (Distance/Time Remain 0 nm / 0). how do i fix that... what file do i need to change to get my time and distance to show up on the map.. Thank you Brian

G'day Guys, A member of my management team brought up this idea. Being able to fine pilots based on risky decisions/poor flying, and give them the hours they gathered from the flight instead. Basically when a pilots pirep is rejected, they still receive the hours, but don't get paid, or loose and amount of pay. Cheers Tylor

G'day Guys, I have recently appointed a dev guy within my VA, and I'm trying to allow him access to the dev site to work. Currently i have setup the account so he can access the files, but he can also access the local.config.php, and other sensitive files that contain passwords and information i don't want him to get at, how can i prevent him from accessing these files ? i have tried the permissions but that doesn't seem to stop the account. I setup the ftp account through my host's cpanel option. I can see that i can password protect a directory, but why not a file ? I'm not sure you guys have done this before but if someone has, any help would be great. Cheers Tylo…

G'day Guys, Just wanted to express an idea i've been thinking about, for a possible release in the next version of phpvms, what i was thinking of being able to select a few different aircraft for a route, and then have one randomly selected when someone looks at that bid, as most airlines use more than one aircraft on one route, and depending what they've got available at the place and time they use. Hopefully this could be looked into, as i believe it'd add the the realism. Cheers Tylor

Hi! I wonder if its possible to run phpvms over a local network using xampp(i understand you cant give me support on this program but ill try) My wishes is to have the server running on a computer connected to my network, but separated from me flight sim computer. This computer wont have anything on it so the security doesnt need to be of concern:-p Now i can access the login page of phpvms when i enter the local ip of the computer that has the server running... but when i log in it seems to try to redirect me to "localhost/blablalba" which causes errors i suppose?... is there a way to fix this or do i have to have this on my fscomputer? Hi, I have tried to search the forum but have not found anything similiar. I installed phpVMS yesterday on my server. I'am familiar with the system and have worked with it several times before. The problem I have is that when I try to register a pilot using the /register module nothing happpens. No error-message nothing. The only thing that happens is that the password and the reCapatche gets erased. If I remove for example the first name an error message regarding that comes up. An airport and its associated Navaids in Australia had their designators officially changed 7 years ago but the kACARS_Free database does not recognise the new designators. The airport was YSCH and is now YCFS. Is there any way this can be corrected and does it indicate that the entire database may need to be re-assessed for accuracy particularly as regards the construction of new airports and the installation of new Navaids? I note also that, according to kACARS_Free, a flight from Sydney to Brisbane - some 600nm shows as something like 9000nm because the program picks up a waypoint in (say) the USA that has the same name as one in Australia. Hello All, FlyFlorida is about to under go a facelift! However i'm having abit of bother trying to put a maintenance skin over the website. I know that you can put one on through the CPanel however i want the option for my pilots to still be able to sign into their accounts and log flights for the airline. When I go into the Admin Activity Logs I see "so and so Approved PIREP #1933" But when I look at the recent Pireps, there is no number saying that it is Pirep #1933 or whatever. How can find these Pireps if there is no Pirep number associated with them?

Hi all, I have just changed all my country flags but for some reason they are not showing up, they are showing up as all the old ones. I have cached my browser, and in the admin center I have gone to maintenance and cached it and its still not working, Does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks, Matthew

Hi, Last week i've build up my phpvms website and all appears to go ok. I tried flying with xacars and also with fspassengers. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way that I can basically grab information from one of the VATSIM Data servers, and pull my pilots info out of it and match it with a pirep to add .5 more hours per flight that the pilot does on VATSIM. This is just a thought that I was thinking could be possible in the future at my VA.

Okay, here is a problem I came across today that I would like to get right, but just can't figure it out. I want to have the aircraft name to be shown instead of the registration in the pireps_viewall.tpl. In the pireps_viewall.tpl file I have this (as default) <?php echo $report->registration; ?> I have tried numerous types to get it show, but it just will not show up for me. Tried the following... <?php echo $report->name; ?> <?php echo $aircraft->name; ?> <?php echo $report->aircraftname; ?> with no positive results. Does anyone have the correct code for this?

One of my pilots is French (yet speaks surprisingly good English) and whenever he is flying, the ACARS Log and the Status is always in French. Is there a way to ensure that it will always be displayed in English?
