Hi, I need some help with the finances of my VA. We are a Military VA, however have decided to try and use the finances options for the Squadrons (Airlines) that do roles involving Heavy Lift or Transport, the combat oriented Sqns simply wont earn any revenue.. only spend it! I have setup the Ranks pay levels based on Annual Salarys at the given Rank within the service, plus an extra hourly rate for Flying Pay. My main question is about Schedules pricing for PAX and Cargo... I really dont know where to start? One of my Pilots did a 20 Minute flight (Cargo) and earned £250,000!!! so i dont tihnk we have the right pricing setup yet. I would be interested to know what …

Hi Guys, Can't seem to find anything about this error posted so far, I have installed the system onto a windows server (IIS7), it installs fine and fires up the home screen. From this point though I cant navigate to any other page, the URL changes but the Homepage remains, and it wont let me login? It just takes my username and password and then remains on the homepage. I have checked my permissions and even opened them right up, still get the same response. Its almost as if the URL rewrite isnt working, but I dont think its required is it? G'day Guys, A member of my management team brought up this idea. Being able to fine pilots based on risky decisions/poor flying, and give them the hours they gathered from the flight instead. Basically when a pilots pirep is rejected, they still receive the hours, but don't get paid, or loose and amount of pay. Cheers Tylor

G'day Guys, I have recently appointed a dev guy within my VA, and I'm trying to allow him access to the dev site to work. Currently i have setup the account so he can access the files, but he can also access the local.config.php, and other sensitive files that contain passwords and information i don't want him to get at, how can i prevent him from accessing these files ? i have tried the permissions but that doesn't seem to stop the account. I setup the ftp account through my host's cpanel option. I can see that i can password protect a directory, but why not a file ? Hi there, I have a difficult question, I guess. The flight search for pilots does search for various inputs. For example when I search for A320 and EDDF, the reults are either flights departing from EDDF or flights with A320. But what I want is a explicit search for flights departing from EDDF with A320. How can I change it? Many thanks in advance!

G'day Guys, Just wanted to express an idea i've been thinking about, for a possible release in the next version of phpvms, what i was thinking of being able to select a few different aircraft for a route, and then have one randomly selected when someone looks at that bid, as most airlines use more than one aircraft on one route, and depending what they've got available at the place and time they use. Hopefully this could be looked into, as i believe it'd add the the realism. Cheers Tylor

Hi! I wonder if its possible to run phpvms over a local network using xampp(i understand you cant give me support on this program but ill try) My wishes is to have the server running on a computer connected to my network, but separated from me flight sim computer. This computer wont have anything on it so the security doesnt need to be of concern:-p Now i can access the login page of phpvms when i enter the local ip of the computer that has the server running... but when i log in it seems to try to redirect me to "localhost/blablalba" which causes errors i suppose?... is there a way to fix this or do i have to have this on my fscomputer? An airport and its associated Navaids in Australia had their designators officially changed 7 years ago but the kACARS_Free database does not recognise the new designators. The airport was YSCH and is now YCFS. Is there any way this can be corrected and does it indicate that the entire database may need to be re-assessed for accuracy particularly as regards the construction of new airports and the installation of new Navaids? I note also that, according to kACARS_Free, a flight from Sydney to Brisbane - some 600nm shows as something like 9000nm because the program picks up a waypoint in (say) the USA that has the same name as one in Australia. 1. I want to create a group for deleted pilots so that they they are treated just like a guest, but so that I've got records of the flights etc, so what would the code be for the group in the PilotData.class.php ? 2. My PDF documents won't load via the links in the pilot centre. Just reuploaded them all, which took away the error about them being damaged, but now they don't load. Any ideas? 3. Some pilots are still getting the inactive login notice. However, I changed the php so that they'd be able to login to access the Pilot Centre, but it's not working. Any ideas?

I wonder could someone help me with regards to VA's and how their rankings are effected by time acceleration by pilots. I know of one VA which actively encourages it's pilots to use time acceleration during all long haul flights, presumably in order to get a high ranking position. I am just wondering if there is any safeguard against this practice, which to my mind puts all reputable VA's at a great disadvantage. Please excuse me if I have posted this in the wrong place by the way, I am unfamiliar with the forums. Thanks for any help.

When I go into the Admin Activity Logs I see "so and so Approved PIREP #1933" But when I look at the recent Pireps, there is no number saying that it is Pirep #1933 or whatever. How can find these Pireps if there is no Pirep number associated with them?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way that I can basically grab information from one of the VATSIM Data servers, and pull my pilots info out of it and match it with a pirep to add .5 more hours per flight that the pilot does on VATSIM. This is just a thought that I was thinking could be possible in the future at my VA.

Hi all, I have just changed all my country flags but for some reason they are not showing up, they are showing up as all the old ones.
