hello. Everything was working fine this morining but i have noticed that none of the routes are appearing. I have not touched and coding today. Gday All Im an rather lost at the moment, what im trying to do is have the information from the contact us page sent to my human resources manager, instead of just to me, and if its possible, to the both of us. how can i got about doing this, i have no idea, ive looked in the tpl files related to the contact us page, and the contact php file related to it under modules, also in the local.config.php, nothing related to changing emails around. any help would be great

My VA is looking to add about 150 A/C to Our Fleet. Is there any short way of adding them without having to input each one manually in the admin panel? Or is there an easy way to make the Tail numbers go away and just have it have the A/C Type? I would like to have the tail numbers but not if I have to add 150 A/C manually.

Hello All, I've created a custom profile field through the admin center for VATSIM ID's. I've gone into the member's profile to add their VATSIM ID and get the "saved successfully" message. But when I go out of that screen then back in the data is missing. Any help appreciated.

Gday Guys i was wondering if it was possible to get my VA and account deleted off VA Central ?, i am unable to do it as i had trouble signing up with my email, so i tried another email, and changed the settings after signing up to my preferred email, well.. VA Central didnt like that one bit, and i am unable to edit my VA within VA Central, i cannot access the account at all, keeps telling me my login details are wrong, i have tried both emails. I will sign up to VA Central again as soon as i finish porting my site over to my new paid hosting service, and ill leave it with the other email address this time. my VA is Qantas Virtual Airlines - http://www.vacentral.net/a…

I've created a HR group and I have someone I trust enough to manage and delete pilots but I don't want him to manage any other parts of my site. I've given that group ACCESS_ADMIN and EDIT_PILOTS but I've noticed that they can not do everything I'd like them to. They can not "change Pilot Groups", "Reset Passwords", or "Delete Pilots". My question to you PHP gurus is do you know of any way to adjust the code for this group so I can add those rights to it? The delete feature is really what I want but if all three can be done that would be great! Thanks, Keith

Hi guys, I have made a school boy error today. I wanted to change my callsign to match with the one I would normally use, i.e. from 5SA0001 (admin) to 5SA389 (which I use) however I saw that I could it on the admin page and just didit with thinking then, I cannot get back into the admin pages, where can I change the settings to accept my new callsign as the admin for the site? Ok guys. It is once again time for me to make my self look real stupid which I am pretty good at doing. All I am trying to do is insert a pilots ID and First and last name in a table. The Pilot ID should be a link to his or her own public profile while the first and last name are merely that, just a name (no link). I have tried every single code I can until I have been blue in the face for 4 or 5 days now and still no good. I simply can not figure out how to get that code or where it comes from. I have consulted many php readings and all of it is different then we use here it seems. So I figure after almost a week of trying it was time to ask. I hate to ask for help …

Hello, I hae the problem where pilots can't signup due to a foreign key constraint in the databsae. I remembered I had to troubleshoot this before but can't remember how I did this. I rarely ever work with MySQL, soa quick walkthrough of how to go through that in phpmyadmin would be very helpful! Thank you, Cory EDIT: Disregard, problem solved.

Where at can I find the controls for avatar size? I think 80x80 is ok but is a bit restrictive. I was wanting to up the anty a little bit. And then I will get in the tpl file and warn pilots before they upload that it can only be what ever size I choose as max settings. Thanks in advance either way. Ray

HI guys, I have looked in the forums and I could not see it, but do the pilots have to bid for flights or can I let them fly what ever routes we have in the shedules list? Our pilots like to fly any aircraft on any route, but the way vms is set up you cannot is there anyway I can change that or is that it. Apart from cheers guys for some great sof tware.

I am working on getting staff members for my VA but I would really like to restrict the abilities they have in the admin panel of phpvms to just posting news and approving pireps. So i would like to keep them from being able to see the maintenance section, routes and etc. Is there any way to do this? Thanks. www.flyiva.org

Hi, I am new here, I have with the help of dunnies guide got phpVMS up and running, I have added my fleet of aircraft now to start on the airports, but that the issue. I go to add the airport enter the ICAO 'EGKK' then click look up and nothing, so enter the details manually takes a while. then click hub then 'add airport' and I get an error message 'there was an error adding this airport' what am I missing? Hi, i am having a problem after moving servers, when a user registeres after filling in the form he gets just a blank page, so i thought it was something to do with the additions i have done. I downloaded a fresh copy of vms to check and exactly the same thing happens there, also after the install the page does not fully load and the main admin account is not accessible, as this is happening on a new server i dont thing its vms but a setting or a lack of one that i have forgot to setup. No error messages are being sent to the page or to the logs. One thing that should be noted is that the registration completes ok ie data is put in to the database its just not returnin…

Ok, I would like to ask a few questions... Schedules: I had saw something about hiding them when they are not scheduled to fly. Because I want all Schedules available but I want to show what days they fly in real world.So e.g. Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri Thats Route does not fly on Wednesday (Today) but I want that schedule to still appear there. Also... Calling last 5 Flights: I need some help calling the last 5 flights that were completed by the pilot. I want to show this in the Pilot Center. Thank You, Daniel

Hello, I was making a page on my site for pilots which has discount codes for them to use on flight sim websites, but i wanted them to only be able to access the page when they have completed a certain number of flying hours (so people wont just join to ge tthe discount then never being seen flying with the va again) So I was wondering if there was a code for this? Good day, First I want to thank you for this great software! It is really cool! My Question: is there a way to make a page that show the aircraft currently in your fleet? I am using this great software to run UVSAAF, and, being a Virtual Air force, It would be great to have a page that can display the Aircraft in use, and maybe the Airlines (Squadrons, in this case) they serve with? Have been exploring adding search by Carrier option to the search form but struggling a bit to get it to work. Any got any suggestions for the code to add to the search form in order to search by airline code? i.e. pull out all flights for a specific airline (we have 14).
