HI guys, When you delete a pilot from the admin I want to be able to edit that code to also update another field in my database, basically what i have is external authentication switched on for IPB, I have pilot id and the password and the account creation for the fourm, i also have a further check retired=0 so when i delete a pilot that has never flown i also want to update that field to retired preventing forum access. So to finally get to the point where does that code live and can i just reference it to the pilot id and update the retired column? Thanks.

Hi, I have a seperate homepage (As found on these forums, adjusting the Frontpage module) but I now want to restrict access certain pages to only logged in members i.e don't want pilots public profiels or pireps accessible to 'outsiders'. How would I do this? Thanks, Graham

Show only the schedules from last PIREP

Hi All I have a problem. I tried to uncomment out the code for filtering schedules down to the ones from last pirep accepted, so the pilots can only see schedules from their location. I'm not sure if the code works properly as I tried it and it didn't and still shows me the whole listings (my current location is EDDL and there is only one schedule from EDDL in DB whcih is the one I want only!). Please help me get this done. I appreciate your concern Thanks Parkho

I have added schedules, aircraft, and etc. They show up in the admin section but when I go to the pilot center and search for flight, I get airport but it doesn't show any routes? Can someone tell me what I have done wrong? Thanks!!! SOLVED

I am trying to get the total number of awards for a pilot. How can I count the awards of a specific pilot? I am looking to rank pilots based on the number of awards that they have. The awards have a separate table for those awarded and I cant figure out how to count them based on the pilot number field. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Hello, I have recently was shown this from a member of my Aviation/Simulation forum and would like to implement it, but before I do I have a couple questions to prevent some possible huge issues. I already have Php locked to mySQL obviously for my forum. So... Do I need to create a new domain for this? Otherwise I can't see how this can run on the same with my forum/SQL and as you can imagine am a little hesitant on running the installer(s) since I don't want to hose all the work I've done. Can I just add it to it's own folder and install from there? And how would that still effect the fact that my domain already has php and sql tied to it? Thanks for your time,…

Hi guys i have just converted from phpbb3 to IBP and was wondering if anyone would know how to display latest forum posts on the main index page of phpvms. I have this displayed OK using phpbb3 but i cant seem to find the code anywhere for IBP. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Hi everyone, I've just spent about 4 hours trying to solve this, but I'm having an awful amount of trouble and I decided to come to the experts. If we look at my rank directory here: http://www.unityvirtual.net/index.php/rank, we can see that it is sorting the ranks from Lowest (Pilot Recruit) up the top, to Highest (CEO) down the bottom. This makes sense, because the 'rankid' for Pilot Recruit is '1', while the rankid for CEO is '12'...No problems there. However, I'm trying to swap the order that the ranks appear on that page, without changing any rankid's in the database. I've tried a few things, but nothing has seemed to work, and Google hasn't helped, unfortunately…

Hello all, As i am still bust with configuring everything and translating everything i noticed a strange thing in the calculated distances in the flight schedules. I have routes with 2 decimals and with three Example: EHAM -ZBAA = 4231.03 and EHAM - LFPG = 215.289 Is there anyway to change this so it wil automaticly going to round figure like EHAM -ZBAA = 4231 and EHAM - LFPG = 215 Tnx and have a great 2011 Regards, Cor

First time we installed it, about 5 months ago, everything was working properly but since we reinstalled it, some admin members cant access the admin center... Could someone please help us out in this ? ok first off all today i am to lazy to do a search as i am still hangover from X-mass so i am gonna shoot it here and hope to get an awnser now in the local config we can set a va to maintanance telling people to come back later or watever we type there. is there a possabilaty to link it to a tpl file where pilots could register and some info is shown. thanks in advanse your lazynes joeri

Hi All, As My Va Runs Charter Flights Without Any Scendules I was wondering if there was a away of making the pilot be able to "Charter A Flight" Which leads them to the simular page like in the add schedule page. When they press "Book" The flight is added to their bids. I've been looking at: http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/1966-phpvmsbooking-release/page__hl__booking But wouldn't know where to start by editing a copy of the admin center file for pilots. Hi all. I'm trying to add Reykjavik (Iceland) airport to a list of airports however the ICAO search for it's designator is pulling back the wrong information. BIRK is the correct code for that airport however when I enter this, I get the details for Birk Airport (4TX4) in the US?

Pax vs Cargo Pirep Problem C / P [SOLVED]

Just noticed tonight my pirep DB all flights are logged P or Passenger regardless if the schedule is a cargo/pass flight. I thought it was maybe acars problem so did a manual pirep with a cargo schedule still same problem logged as P passenger flight. Did load it with appropriate cargo for plane but still P in pirep DB. Don't know how to fix this. Noticed the problem when I added totalpass() to frontpage and got 1.6 million even though only have 100 flights. Fixed the problem by manually changing all the cargo pireps to C in mysqladmin.

I have a question that I'd imagine has a simple answer, but I can't seem to find it. I am a part of a VA that simulates military ops. There are two problems that we are going to run into. Firstly, a pilot may not use the same callsign from day to day. As he does different jobs, his callsign may change accordingly. Is there a way to track flight hours and other info without mandating a pilot use a single callsign? Also, the callsigns are not only three letters... For instance, BUGSY123 might be used, where BUGSY is the actual callsign, and 123 is the pilot... does this make sense?
