I can't wait until v2 comes out. It has all the features that my VA needs. ;D Anyways, I started to code our site in the beta but because of random bugs I'm not getting very far. If I were to load up the release version and add routes, pilots, skins, etc. will there be compatibility issues upgrading to v2 when it is released? I would hate to do a lot of work just to have to do it again when v2 comes out. Thanks for your help! Keith

For some random reason, ALL of the schedules pages on the website are out of line, however, this is the weird thing, ITs ONLY out of line in Internet Explorer, i myself use Firefox and its perfect but other members (the IE users...) see it as out of line. http://members.pulseair.co.uk/index.php/schedules/details/101 Regards, Thomas. hello Nabeel i have a small question about the distance calculator in the admin/add route if i add a rout you can calculate the correct distance or let it calculate auto now my question if i let it calculate it give a number. example:eblg-vhhh=6064.249 now if i let it calculate via a tool i found on the net it give met for the same 2 airports this 5041.51 ( http://www.airrouting.com/content/TimeDistanceForm.aspx)link to tool can you explane the difference

Dear people, i'm trying to implement this beautifull program for my new born VA. I don't know if it's a problem with the server but : a) i create a pilot and enroll him in a VA called test1 then i decide to change him to test2, that for example is a cargo section when i go in administration to change the airline it says saved buy after i refresh it is still test1 i tryed adding my hours done on IVAO to my pilots profile and it worked fine. When i remove the hours it says saved but it doesn't not remove them from the total c) i would like to translate the program in italian, is it possible and how? I have hit an issue with the footer.tpl. The design looks fine appart from no footer at the bottom. Which also means no "designed by" for the template and no "powered by" for phpVMS. It says the following: I have checked line 211 for TemplateSet.class.phh and it says: trigger_error('The template file "'.$tpl_path.'" doesn't exist'); I am pretty sure its the extra slash after the public_html thingy but no idea which file to change it in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello We have an error with the pireps and FSACARS. When a pilot sent a pirep from FSACARS, he uses the SEND LOG button. After he clicked on this button, he has this message : Log sent ! After that, I receive an e-mail : A PIREP has been submitted by FSW004 FSW0004: TNCM to SOCA Aircraft: 3, Flight Time: 2.15 File using: fsacars All seems to be ok, but I don't have the pirep in phpVMS. No pirep in the database, no pirep in the admin panel, no pirep in all the system ! I just have the e-mail, but I don't have the pirep. I am currently using the last version of phpVMS : 2.0.796 What can I do to solve this error ? Thanks Stéphane

Hi I'm having a problem with my website. I successfully installed phpvms and was going to start skinning, but I am unable to open the site. Instead of launching the page, I get a download prompt in which my browser asks me if I want to download "myurl_com" as an unknown file type. Up until yesterday I could visualize and log on normally, but this started happening today. I spoke to my web provider's support and they told me this probably had to to with the file type - showing as "application/x-http-d" in cPanel. Can anyone help me in dealing with this? Thank you.

I see in the current beta version that now when adding schedules or editing old ones, flight level is now a part of it. Is this required and what does it do? Just curious. I want to make sure I am using the system as I should be incase of issues I can report acurately. ;-)

Hello, I was having a before-opening meeting with all my staff, When one of my staff memebers mentioned with Internet Explorer that when you view the schedule, It refreshes every second and I cannot seem to find the bug. Hey, I was curious, I have the landing stats addon on my site and there is an edit that has to be done in the admin files. Each time there is an update to phpVMS this is over written. I know I can copy files to my skin folder and they work great. What about admin files? Such as pireps_list.tpl If it can be copied to my skin folder, do I need to make an admin folder in my skin folder and place it there or just in the skin folder with the rest of the files?

I noticed tonight, I did some traffic patterns and flew around St Louis for a while and landed. Uploaded pirep via FSACARS all went smooth. Here is my question. Is it possible to make it so that admin can add comments to a pirep that has been submitted using ACARS? Or is it possible to add comments via ACARS before submitting the pirep? I have setup a bogus flight as suggested in the FAQ for flights not on schedule and I instructed pilots when able to add comments as in where they fly from and to and all that good stuff. If not is no biggie to me. I can always have them file manually, but that kind of defeats the purpose of ACARS. ;-)

Hi all, Here's a stupid question.. I've been having a hell of a time trying to get static text to show up only on the homepage. I'm looking to have some sort of intro text about our airline, outlining what our values and what we do are. I attempted to insert this into the "body_content" section in the header, but come to find out that will put that on all pages. My question is, how do I only have the text show up on the homepage? My apologies in advacne as I am more than sure this has been covered so many times it is getting old hearing about it again. I am looking in my admin panel at finances and I'm looking at the over view and it shows my aircraft miles wrong. For example, my A388 shows as being flown for 00:00:35 hours and 10 nm That is just a tad on the off side. Have I missed a fix for this somewhere? I am looking to keep an accurate account of all aircraft for 100 hour maint checks. I am using Version 2.0.795

Hi Nabeel, is there anyway to overcome this error on the addon pages? It seems to be only when i include a table, ive also looked in the templateset.class.php at line 95, i deleted the contents but then the website messed up, then i tryed it by putting a . in the '.' still, website didnt work. Hi everyone first and foremost hello as this is my first post here. I have recently discovered phpvms and am looking forward to start using it properly. I have been trying it to install it but haven't been able to complete it yet because I'm having some trouble understanding the installation steps. G'day all, I am working on a advanced fleet page at the moment and ran into a problem. I want the ICAO, Type, Registration, Range, Empty Weight, Cruise Alt, Max Pax, Max Cargo, Total Hours, Total Distance Flown and Total Flight Time. Hi all, My apologies if this is hidden somewhere here, but I was wondering if somewhere it would be possible to edit the code and restrict usage on aircraft depending on your pilot rank. Without this, I don't see much point to even having pilot ranks available aside from the pretty badge you get to wear. For example, I've got two ranks; First Officer and Second Officer. I would only like the FO's to be able to operate the 737's in our fleet, while I would like the SO's to be able to operate the 737's and 747's. As you have seen in another post we are looking into changing to VMS, I was wondering do we need to put in phatom PIREPs to get the hours to show right to get the correct hours for rank. For instance I need to 100 hours to get to 1st LT can I put in one flight that will show that or do I have to put in at leat four PIREPS in the system to see 100 hours.
