Hi all Good to be back working on my phpVMS site once more - hopefully will get it sorted soon! 2 queries. The 1st is what page do I alter to get the page title removed from a custom page, as I'd like to place my own title image in there? I've looked at the .tpl files and even some of the .php files, but I'm drawing a blank - must ge going blind . The other question is, on the pilot center schedules page, could a space be placed between the flight number and the (icao-icao) text, so that they are separate? Of course this might have already been changed in the latest beta, but I'm still using the main release 700. Many thanks in advance! Will

Hey everyone, On our domain (afva.servegame.org) we have two different VMSs, one is our main one (afva.servegame.org/index.php and the other our new pacific counterpart (afva.servegame.org/pacific/index.php . If one pilot is logged in on one site and goes on the other they are logged in on that site they just went on as a different person! More simple way: Logged in: afva.servegame.org as AF0001 as 'Example Guy' Goes on : afva.servegame.org/pacific as PF0001 (auto login because already logged on the other site) as 'Example Girl Smith' This will cause massive problems on our vms, can anyone help us??? Here's a good one. Not sure if it is a skinning question or what. Sorry if is in wrong section. I have my forum installed and in my phpBB3, I have placed a link in the header BACk to my main site. So if I am logged in on my main site and then visit my forum, when clicking the link to go back to my main site, it shows me NOT logged in until I click at least 1 link on site. Do you know of any good way to solve this issue?

As many of you know I am nearing the completion of the raw data needed to plug into this site and thus give birth to Pontchartrain Virtual Airlines. If my calculations are correct I am about a month away from completing this task and then down loading the operating program. All of which brings me to the purpose of today’s post. Without mincing words I have no idea how to create and paint the aircraft needed to run the VA. In my minds eye I know exactly what I want the aircraft to look like, but I haven’t a clue on how to make that vision come alive. We have gone live at virtualnorwegian.com with phpVMS and some issues have been spotted: 1. Our pilots are using different setup regarding metric/imperial so some users will report in lbs some in kg. The problem is that when they have logged lets say 6000lbs, it is reported as 6000kg in the report(fsacars/xacars atleast)(our standard is EURO and KG. So we "pay" 2.2 times more than we should for our fuel ;D 2. During registrations, we get some internal server error(500) but the registrations apear in the admin center. The pilots do not get confirmation in the browser, so sometimes they try do reg multiple times... And our custom field is not parsed through(vatsim id) …

In light of recent talks about pilot ranks, I failed to ask one question. I want to create a Inactive pilot rank. That is easy enough, BUT what to do about the hours? Do I set it for some un godly amount so no other pilot gets updated to that rank? Meaning that the inactive pilot gets this rank manually via the ACP? It would be great if the system recoginzed users who have not filed a pirep in say 3 months and move them inactive and give them that rank as well.

how can i sort the table so that the pilot with most hours or most flights is on top.i have been trying different stuff but can't get it to work. and is there a way to only show the active pilots in the pilots list or an icon that says inactive or active

Running the latest beta, are flight operated using XACARS supposed to show up on the live map? I've had a pilot try, and there is no luck...it isn't appearing on the VAcentral map either, so I don't think it is site related. James

Hello Nabeel, Thanks for the response on integrating FSPax's logs into FSACARS... Here's an additional question regarding the A/C type pulldown after the "Flight from VA" has been selected. Scenario. My VA has multiple Saabs and Jetstreams... each with its own registration number. So, imagine for a minute, when you pull this list down... all you see is - for example - 20 "JS41" entries in the list. Somewhere in that list - I have to imagine - is a concatenated registration number which is INVISIBLE in the pulldown list. So, if you - after a series of trial and errors - manage to select the correct "JS41", then the correct registration number shows up in the Reg # f…

Hi Everybody, I recently changed hosts and done the following, Installed a fresh copy of phpVMS, Updated the SQL file, everything seemded to work ok. However over the past 2-3 days its come to my attention that Pilots cannot change there profile images, i dont know if this is something to do with the CMS or the database, i think the database? Any ideas/replys will all be helpfull, also apart from that one pilots callsign changed from PLS022 to PLS021, strange huh? Thanks, Thomas.

Hello all, My VA (EVA) uses this system for VA flight tracking. I'm a new member of the VA. I've set up FSAcars on my PC and it works well. I also have FSPassengers installed on the PC. That, too, works well - as a standalone. Situation: ======= I SEND the FSAcars log to the VA upon completion of the flight. No problem. HELP NEEDED: ========== I must next SEND the FSPassengers log to the VA. But, this is a separate task. When I send the FSPax log, it created a second (2nd) pirep at the VA - BUT - the log is never received. At the VA's website, it says something about "Aircraft not selected..." So, my Ops Manager has to (every time) clean up the double entry…

How long does the Bid stay in someones flight? Im getting a problem with members bidding on flights then not flying them for whatever reason then going in-active, this leaves loads of my schedule missing because they are stuck in limbo! How can i see who has bids outstanding and also so can we have a global bid reset button so i can free all my schedule from forgetful and non-active pilots!! ?? Thanks, Dave.

You are aware that the map icons range from 35x35 pixels to 50x50 pixels? : Not a big issue if you only have one pilot online at a time but when you get three or four, it is quite noticeable. Chuck CYXU

One of my pilots did a flight using XAcars. It shows up on the map as enroute. He landed and filed a flight plan half an hour ago and still on the map it says enroute. Anyone know why?

Hi Nabeel, I have discussing a lot with pilots in my VA and they seem to be disapointed by the fact we can't have two aircraft with same name and two different registration codes. As for MYSQL table primary key is set to "ID" and unique to "Name", it would be better to set unqiue to regitration number... I guess modding it would imply to change code in ACARS, etc... Cheers !

I am just transfering from my old host to my one, but I have setup a phpVMS database and changed all the details in the local.config.php file. However on the homepage it says: In the "ezDB_MySQL.class.php" (line 108) it is: $this->dbh = mysql_connect($dbhost, $dbuser, $dbpassword, true); I the only thing I have noticed is "dbh" but doubt it. Any help would be appreciated.

Just upgraded to Beta a little bit ago and When I click on the links uptop under the Pilot avatar in the header section ( File Pirep View My Bids View Pilot Center ), it is not going to the directory of my phpVMS install. I just incorporated two downloads in to my website using the download option in the admin panel. The first link is a word document and works fine, the download appears immediately. The listed URL is: http://www.civilvirtualairtransport.com/lib/missions/louisvillepickup/louisvillepickup.docx The second link is a FS9 flight plan (.PLN) but does not work. It is in the exact same folder and destination the .docx file but an error message appears and says the link is invalid. http://www.civilvirtualairtransport.com/lib/missions/louisvillepickup/louisvillepickup.pln Is there a problem with the file type (a .pln) file? I know the url is correct...any suggestions?
