Hi, I was wondering how I could create a database column in a way that I could avoid it being wiped out during updates? They don't come often, and I'm not complaining at all, but I'd rather be safe than later lose that data. If there is a way to do this, I'm absolutely clueless on how to assign arrays so they can display in a table, i.e $schedules->new_column_name, so could anyone please redirect me towards some kind of a tutorial or point to a starting point with an example? For instance, I'd like to add a column called 'division' to phpvms_schedules. The column would be used to assign simple values, 1, 2, 3 etc. 1 for example could stand for Low-Cost, and then I co…

Keep in mind i have changed nothing on my site, When I go to the admin panel I have no general settings and on my pages I'm getting this error. I have no idea what's going on as I have changed nothing and the site was fine until last night. I mistakenly emptied the settings table in mysql.

Good evening. I had a lot of unused BIDS for a few years. Has VMS got to the stage where a pilot can select any aircraft for a given route rather than the admin chosen one? I only ask as I flew 2 routes with a 767 and had 737 capacity. Thanks Richard

I have two different questions, but I don't want to post two different threads because I've already posted so many. First problem: I have just moved the PIREP form to the pilot dashboard and none of the dropdown menus work (ex when you try to select your airline, nothing comes up). I know this has something to do with me moving the form. Second problem: I want to also move the schedules to the pilot dashboard. However, it is split into many different templates, and I don't know how to move the whole thing so that pilots can search schedules. If any of you have some sort of solution to any one of these problems, please say so. Thanks in advance!

Im getting multiple users re re-registering with the same email is there a way to stop this to where it will say user with that email already exist or something to stop this from happening ? I figured id ask before i have to re-create the wheel Thanks in advance

Hello all i need to know if someone have the solution when i need to send email to the pilots it go to SPAM folder in tier email like gmail and if the pilot did -THIS IS NOT SPAM- it will come in the normal folder but other pilot still in SPAM guys if u have any solution for this please help

Hi, Today I started to setup my VA. It all seems to work great with the exception that it does not show in the list of airlines on VA Central. I see stuff about API Key's etc on these forums but am totally lost as to where this key is found or what should be done with it if found. I know I need to do something with my local.config.php. Could someone take me step by step as to what I need to do? Thanks for any help at all.

Just some technical heads up -- know there were threads at one point trying to figure out "why" a cron job on maintenance.php failed. I was looking at the original PHPVMS build against Clark's 5.5 build and I noticed that MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resetpirepcount'); MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resethours'); which translates to the respected Maintenance module function has this added CodonModule::checkPermission(MAINTENANCE); This is not in the original PHPVMS builds. Hi there, Is there a way I can link my Aircraft registrations to bids? At the moment, there are several flights for each aircraft, and several pilots can bid on flights that involve the same aircraft. I want flights that have the same aircraft reg number, not to show up once an aircraft is booked.. Any help?

I have a problem, when a pilot completes a flight, it is still on the map! I changed the settings under: # ACARS options # Minutes, flights to show on the ACARS # Default is 720 minutes (12 hours) Config:: Set ('ACARS_LIVE_TIME', 3); Config:: Set ('ACARS_DEBUG', false); Would not have to delete the old information? I have searched for this Spaces Export etc but can't find any hits. If I export our Flight Schedules to update them then import them in CSV format the next time I export them I get a space infront of the Arrival time, if I then export again I get two spaces, then three. Then it stops adding the spaces. Is this a known problem?

I am in the process of moving from a custom designed acars and webpage to phpvms. I was able to get most of the information moved over but it seems that I can't import multiple routes with the same flight number. An Example would be SWA 2536 which is PIT to MDW continuing to SLC. What is the right way to get this information imported? When I try a CSV mass import the routes get overwritten and the last one in the csv file is what sticks..
