Good evening again, as I'm trying to make my site as comfortable as possible I'm planning to add a search filter. Unfortunately I'm having great plans without having the right PHP knowledge (stupid, eh? ), so I have to rely on you as far as it is possible. Well, the search filter should have a few functions. At first you should be able to search with different values. Starting with entering a departure or a destination ICAO (e.g. EDDL would show all [every day] departures from Dusseldorf, just entering ED would show all departures out of Germany). The same for the destination. These two values combined should show a route between the two ICAOs. Further on you should …

I just did my first flight with XACARS and I landed but now I can't send the PIREP. The "send PIREP" button is grayed out? How can I do this? I checked the XACARS docs on the site but they are blank. I thought if I hit Stop Recording then it would un gray the box but it looks like I just lost the flight I just did. I do have my parking brake on but it still will not allow my to send it. What step am I missing here? Thanks!

Hello I just did an update from v. 854 to 874. I did not have any map. Moreover, the live acars with FSACARS did not work any more (I have no more information under the blank map in the LIVE MAP page). I resetted my google API, but I didn't have the maps... Stéphane

Hi guys, sorry if this has already been covered off but what im trying to do is on the pilots list i have a column active/inactive with a gif image, what i want to do is have this updated to reflect the status of the pilot so if he is active its green and of he goes inactive or retired then this changes to red, is this possible and easily accomplished?

As of today my schedules page is empty. In the backend, everything looks OK, tried to reimport schedules - all the same, tried to delete the schedules and reimport same crap. The only thing that works, is to create a schedule manually. Does anyone have this problem? Any help appreciated. PS, version: 2.0.877

In phpvms_navdb ID Type Name Title Freq Lat LNG 1 2 CBA COBAR 395.0 -31.54 145.799 2 3 CBA CASABLANCA 116.90 33.5215 -7.6772 In the table exist type 0, 1, 2, 3 and according de FREQ type 3 is a VOR and type 2 a NDB, please correct me if i'am wrong, anyway what is type 0 and 1. Since FSACARS has started crapping on some of us, I am having them change to XACARS. Everything logs fine except the Aircraft always shows up as an error. I have tried this too, with the same problem. I checked and I have the aircraft entered correct. Does anyone have this problem?

Currently all e-mails that the system generates has my e-mail address as the "From". I set the Webmaster Email Address in the Site Settings to my HR address but it doesn't work. I'm assuming it is picking the e-mail for user ID #1. I'm guessing this is a bug or do I need to look somewhere else for this setting? Thanks!

How hard would it be to code for awards the same way as the ranks are defined, Example if a pilot completed 10 flights he gets xx award automatically and so on. I would imagine its just a case of copying the ranking system?

Hi Nabeel, I found what could be a problem with the new "Change Pilot ID" function. It appears that all my admin pilot groups can use this function. Even my basic hub managers that just have manage PIREPS as their only permission. I just tested this on my dev site to be sure. Thanks, Keith

I noticed all my pilots Last PIREP and last recieved PIREP date/time didnt match (ive gone through them all manually in phpadmin to match them). Also Active/Inactive.....I have a flashing icon Green=active/Red=inactive in the admin and roster pilot list this is triggered by the 0 or 1 variable in the Retired database enrty. A lot of pilots had flashing red when their account was active so i checked my DB and those accounts had 2010 in the Retired entry, this i found was entered after i turned a pilot inactive then returned them to active.

Hi all, I really just can't work out what's going on here at all. I'm logged into the site, yet, when I click on the link back to the hompage, the pilot links that appear when logged in (in place of login boxes) just go back to the login boxes. This leads you to believe you have been logged out however when you use the boxes and log back in you get told you were already logged in!? Another issue, which I presume is linked to this, when you click on the link for the admin panel you are asked to "please login first". This only happens on the live site and not on my offline localhost development site. FF errors are: Any help is appreciated!

Hi all, I was just wondering if there is an option to set the charter option so a pilot can fly one (1) flight per day that is not in flight schedules and pirep it as a charter flight. So that means the pilot can set dest and arr flightplan etc and at the end the pirep is accepted when uploaded. I seem to have the problem that the flight is rejected when I do this. Gerald

Nabeel is there a way we can filter out duplicate entries for the same flight, for some reason i have a few flights that have duplicate rows, this happens at random intervals and there is no reason or pattern.

Hi again, I have a quick question if this would be possible. I find that editing routes in large numbers goes quickly when editing straight in the database. Therefore we always export our database with phpMyAdmin, edit it accordingly to add new routes, and then import. However, phpVMS is currently set up to read Sunday in the database as Day 0. This 0 value gets ignored when importing the new routes, so I would wondering if it were possible to change the database for the next release to be on a 1-7 scale instead of the current 0-6 scale for each day of the week? (Ex: instead of saying 0123456 to routes that are to be flown on all days, I suggest having 1234567). Thanks i…
