When in alpha testing, when I submitted a PIREP manually it showed up on the PIREPs page, but the flights using kACARS aren't. Can somebody please let me know how to fix this? Thanks!

I have one aircraft stuck on KAcars but can't get rid of. I assume he must have locked up or something and I have tried to clear him from the Live Maps existence, but it won't go away?! How do I clear it out. I have done the clearing of the cache etc. See here: http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/CPC/index.php/acars

Hey Many of my pilots are having this error come with KACARS just after starting their flight, it has to do with my site and etc becuase this pilot could connect to other VA's fine. Thanks

Can anyone tell me what to do here. I am setting up my custom kacars. I am a beginner at this. thanks A new table must be created to allow the chat to work. The table needs to be named with the same table prefix as all other phpvms tables. If the standard tableprefix was used (phpvms_) then the table needs to be named phpvms_acarschat. If the table prefix is different than name accordingly.

When I used Kacars Free, I could see the route on Google Maps, after using the Custom Kacars, I can't. Could anyone help me solve this problem? Using the default route_map.tpl Using the kAcars Custom route_map.tpl I wanna the red track in custom map. Thanks so much if you can help me! I am having a problem When i try and log in to my va from kacars i get the kAcars_free module error please contact your system admind... everything thing is set up right web address etc... but i cant log in to save my life I think i have the module in the right place im on windows 7 64bit fsx both are run as admin http://virtualunitedairlines.org

Hello, Some of our pilots, including myself (6 in total) have been getting the following error message: unhanded exception has occurred in application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue (just brings uo same message) if you click quit, the application will close immediately. (it shuts down but then on reload gives the same message box) I have tried re-installing ACARS, .NET Framework and FSUIPC with no luck, the others have tried it also. Cheers, Thomas.

kACARS Version: kACARS Free 1.0.1.1 FSUIPC Version: 3.48 Recently I've been getting this error: I tried upgrading, so I'm now running 1.0.1.1, but the problem recurs. If I click OK, the log begins, but only if I check the 'Ignore P-Brake / Airborne Check' option. If I don't, it tells me to check my parking brake and to get on the ground even though I already am. I have installed and set up kAcars according to SpiritAir's VA instructions ann i keep getting the following error message "Notify System Administrator of Switch Error Data Not Received Switch=verify" I have emailed the CEO of the VA numerous times and not getting any help so I cam on here hoping someone can help me get it to work. I am a bit confused. In my VA I am using currently the 1.0.0.9 version. However, when I visit the FS Products website it says the latest kAcars Free version is 1.0.1.6 thus newer than mine. However, when I chose the Download link of the FS Products site it brings me to the download page of phpVMS and there it downloads version 1.0.1.1 instead. So, which one is really the last version?

I am currently using kAcars Free v1.0.0.9 and I had to reinstall my entire system (PC). I installed kAcars Free 1.0.0.9 and noticed the following: I can create VA Profiles in the Options | VA Profiles menu dialog. There I see two listed, Template and my own VA entry. When I chose mine I see the Base URL, Pilot ID and Password on the dialog, so far so good. The problem is if I click on the X button it exits which is understandable. However, if I click on the button that has the floppy icon "Save Edited Profile" rather than exiting the dialog and set the Main controls to the chosen profile, it simply leaves the VA dropdown to the VA I chose but clears out the Base URL, Pi…

So I have read many times this is a slow server error. While I have never had any issues at all with slowness on this server, I am willing to bite on the slow server bait. How can I fix this issue to make the script just ignore that error and continue on? We are using the Customs Kacars device on our VA. Also, I run another little VA on the side that uses the free version, can I fix that error on that module (script) as well? The person who paid for our script emailed Jeff and got no reply that I know of thus far. It's been a month or so ago. If anyone has a clue, PLEASE fill me in on what to do. As do a few airlines, we use alphanumeric callsigns on our flights. This is an extra column in the schedules. What I need to do is let kACARS incorporate this. I can already get phpVMS to output the callsign to kACARS so that it is displayed in the flight number box but it does not show on the ACARS map, or in PIREPs. Doing it in my head gets quite complicated as all I'm trying to do is replace the flight number with the callsign throughout the code, but still using the flight number variable. Has anyone else done this or know how?

Folks, Using a custom build KaCars. Recently the Departure and Arrival pulldown under METAR only displays "1". I checked all I know and still having problem. Did a reinstall of kACARS, checked FSUIPC and all seems good. Is anyone else having this issue?

I am having an issue with some kAcars PIREPs that seems to only be happening with one pilot (at the moment). The data coming through is incomplete, and not consistent. See attached. These are just two recent examples, but it's been occurring since he joined. So here's what I've done up until writing this thread: 1. Seeing as how it's only happening with one pilot, I immediately thought it to be an installation issue on his end (and it still might be). My staff and I followed up with him to understand his installation, and we don't feel he's done anything differently or erroneously from anyone else. Hi all, trying to help out my friendly VA manager by troubleshooting a minor issue on kACARS and the phpVMS VM. Flight hours are currently being tracked by computer system time, making it possible to make a cross-country flight in 25 minutes. I understand there is an option to track by FS time, or time factoring in accelerated time. Looking for some guidance on where I might be able to find such a setting and adjust it to reflect in-game time-stretching. Cheers! -JT
