You can just upload different Images to your lib/signatures/background folder. They will be selectable from your "edit profile" page.

Yeah i have it also moved to my layout.tpl but for someone who just starts with all this it might be a good idea to leave the structure of phpVMS as it is until you get some more experience.

You can edit your nav menu in the core_navigation.tpl file

For the zooming thing you can set autozoom to false in your acarsmap.tpl (maybe there even is an Option to turn off autozoom in the local.config.php)

Daniel the reason why your VA's never become popular is your lack of comitment to your own VA's. It simply isn't enough to just choose an airline set up a Site and then wait for fans of that airline to join you. You need to keep improving your Site. Add more functions. Try to offer things others don't and best if you also learn some coding. People want to see that there is something going on. That there is someone behind that VA who actually cares about it. In the First 6-7 months we were about 3 actively flying pilots at Hellenic Airways but i never thought about closing it and open up another VA. Instead i tried to improve what we have and after 2 years i'm still improving our services all the time. And now we have a nice stock of active pilots and it gets better every month. What you do is only putting a bad reputation on yourself and will lead to exactly the opposite of what you want. People just see Daniel Cormack is CEO and leave your Site cause they know you close down.

And not to forget was COO of virtual British Airways just about a week ago which seems to be closed again already.

I changed it once t my airline. What you need to do is after changing the airline code go to your database and in your schedules table replace all old Airline codes with your new one. I did it with a sql query.... To update all colums where i had the Old code with my New one.

Exactly i want to have the Ranks autocalculated by default but have some guys excluded who got a special rank Upgrade. I have added a column in a table for that and also have a working if statement. I just need to find all spots where i need to apply this if statement. So far i have the pirep admin module but it seems that there are also some autocalculate functions somewhere else.

Hi guys, can someone please point me in the right direction where all the rank autocalculate functions are. I want to exclude some pilots who got a rank Upgrade from the autocalculate. I have added a if statement there to the PIREP Accept function in the pirep admin module. It is working there but it seems there must be autocalculate functions somewhere else as well cause the pilots keep getting reset to their autocalculated rank. best regards Manuel

Btw we have a few pilots at Hellenic Airways flying on XPlane - XUIPC with our custom kACARS and it all works normal. All data including landingrates gets sent to our database with no problems Just for Info.

You will probably also need to clear the bid id's in the schedules table!

Man can't you read a post correct? I never had a Lufthansa VA, therefore never asked for a permission, therefore never was shut down! What i said was that 2 friends who are pilots as well flying at Lufthansa asked them for permission because they wanted to open a Lufthansa VA and permission was denied with Lufthansa saying they are not going to give out a permission to use their Name and Logo to any Virtual Organisation. That is what i was saying. I already said 3 times i wish him best luck with his VA if he has permission but after Lufthansa saying they don't give it out to any VA to their OWN pilots i doubt it. Thats it!

Like i said i like his site and i wish him the best luck with his VA. I`m just pretty sure that DLH didn`t give permission to any VA. And if that`s the case i would consider to just simulate lufthansa operations but change the Name and Logo Of the VA or just don`t use a logo. If he got permission that`s even better then but i doubt it.

Well just writing Logos and Trademark remain property of Lufthansa doesn't protect you in any way from being shut down by Lufthansa. If they don't want you to use their Name and Logo they have any right to shut your site down...no matter what you write in the footer. If this VA has permission i wish you best luck! I really like your site. But as far as i know...some of my friends are flying for Real Lufthansa and also didn't get permission to use the Logo for a virtual airline....Lufthansa never has issued a permission to any virtual organisation to operate under Lufthansa Name and Logo and probably never will.

I really like your site. It looks very nice. I`m really sorry to say that you will most probably get shut down within a few weeks. Lufthansa doesn`t allow virtual airlines to use their Name and Logo at all.

open your schedule_results.tpl and comment out the part with the day of week check...it`s somewhere on the top where it says continue if the flight is not scheduled for the current weekday comment out that part of the code and it should display all flights.

When you have a flight scheduled to operate only on Sunday it will only show up in your schedule on sunday. I think that makes perfectly sense.
