You definately shouldnt do that with the pireps query or you lose all pireps older than 3 months.

You can try to set it in your localconfig.php like explained in this post: http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/3998-memory-on-server-issues/ If that doesnt work you need to change it in your php.ini file or ask your host to do it if you dont have access to that file. yes all ACARS systems are supported by the map. The Map takes the data from the default Acarsdata table. The Flight Position Tracker works with all ACARS Systems that use the ACARSData.class.php for submission of position reports. As far as i know this includes all Trackers except SmartCARS which uses a own function for submission of position reports. For users of SmartCARS instructions are included what to do to get it also working with SmartCARS. Again this applies to the Flight Position Tracker Module only. The Route Map Module is not affected by this and works with all acars Clients.

I have been developing a new map module now for a while and since it's getting close to release i decided to show a few preview shots. The map allows your pilots to search flights and directly go to the flight details page from the search results. So it would be possible to completely replace the schedule search of your VA with this map. The connecting flights (yellow lines) which can be enabled via the checkbox is only for eyecandy and limited to 2 flights per airport. You can of course adjust the number in the query but i would keep it at 2. Else your map will be full of lines depending on how many scheduled flights you have. The direct routes (Green lines) from one airport to any other airport will show a list of all scheduled flights between the 2 airports. All departure airports are clickable and show all routes in your schedules from that airport. In Addition the map will display all flights that are in progress at the moment. By clicking the icon of a flight a window with information about that flight will be displayed. Thank you David. It seems that the officiao version wasnt changed for almost 1 year now. So I guess your version is much more up to date and has new features as well. So maybe it would be better to keep developing your version instead of starting over on a 1year old version.

To be honest i'm a bit confused about all the different versions of phpvms that are around. Which ones are still actively being developed? I would certainly help develop a new updated version but to be honest i dont even know where to start since from all the VAs i have been working with i saw so many different configurations and versions of phpvms that i have no clue which one is still being worked on. Since you have an extended Version i guess this one is the latest Version then? Or are you porting all improvments of the Beta Version over to your extended version Whenever something is added to the Beta?

Hm Daniel i think that should be up to the developer. I for example would stop writing modules if i wouldnt make anything of it. I have limited spare time and could do plenty of other things than using that time for sitting in front of thousands of lines of code and write modules. Its great that many people contribute to the community for free but you shouldnt expect everyone to offer his limited time without charging money. Besides that nobody is forced to buy the modules. If someone wants it he can either learn how to code it like i did in the past or pay someone who can do it if he doesnt want to spend the time to learn it. I see nothing wrong with this.

Actually i believe he talks about removing the Charter flights from the schedules. I fail to see how this would in any way Impact his Financials or Pireps. You are save to delete schedules as you wish and i'm pretty sure nothing at all will happen to his pireps and finances. I have deleted schedules so many times already and never had any issues. Dont know where you guys get the idea from.

That alone wont do. I have done this several times already. You will also need to change the way your ACARS client reads the aircraft with the bid or else it will always take the aircraft from the schedules table.

Hello Tom, Thanks for your feedback. I have already spent countless hours looking for a solution for the eu cookie nonsense, however it seems that invision power, like any other major community software, did not implement a funftion to hold cookies back until their use was accepted. So that plugin which displayes the message a message to the visitor notitying him that cookies are used was the closest i could get for IPB. While i have a some good understanding of php and js coding i'm still mainly a rw pilot and do some phpvms websites and modules in my spare time. Thus i'm afraid modifying the core system of a software as complex as IPB goes far beyond my skills. I will keep looking for a solution but i'muntil IPB decides to implement this option we will have to live with the notification. As for the design of the site i'm not finished with that yet. I will probably keep the default ipb layout but will definately work on making it easier to navigate. i thought its a good idea to create the boxes during this pre launch phase since with some content in the database i get anbetter idea on how the boxes should be placed and what content they should display. Hey guys, i'm currently creating a new community site for virtual airline staff and pilots. Of course it will also be open to any Flightsim enthusiast who likes to join. The main purpose is that virtual airlines find any possible information centered on one site plus give pilots who look for a VA a place where they can easily browse through VAs from all over the world. Secondly it also gives people who offer services for VAs the chance to advertise on one place thus making it easier for VA CEOs to find these services. I plan to expand that community in the future by listening to the whishes of the community members. since this forum here is mainly for phpvms Support i have thought it would be nice to also have a place where pilots looking for VAs and Fs Newbies can ask questions prior to joining a VA which in the end could lead to us having less registrations of guys who wont fly. The community is open for any VA or individual interested in flight simming no matter what System or Flightsim they use. I'm still building this site and add features but i think i'm now at a point where i can invite people to join and submit their airlines to the link database. So please be invited to sign up at http://www.simval.net , submit your VAs and give me some feedback over there. Keep in mind that its still in what i call the pre-launch phase since i wanted to get some feedback on what should be added and get all features up and running before officially launching the site. thanks guys

Yeah that is a feature of the paid custom version of kACARS.

Ah looks like the code variable is assigned to the pilot id code instead of the flight code. I cant check it right now since i'm only in my phone.

I dont think you are right there. We also had that problem with Slow Filing Pireps and that was only the case when after filing the PIREPs there was the link in the admin Center to manually send them to VA central cause automatic export failed. As soon as i had turned off VA Central on my VA everything is back to normal. I'm pretty certain its because of bad servers at VA Central. Not the VA's.
