Can you guys make a quick PHP script with this in it, and paste the output here. <?php echo(date_default_timezone_get()); I wonder how many hosts have properly set it up. It seems like I'm running into issues where the time is not being in the right timezone with some data I'm getting back to vaCentral. So I'll have to manually fix this... but I'm wondering if any hosts have this set properly in the first place. I'll manually do it...and I guess GMT is the aviation standard?

I just wanted to swing by and say hello to all and see how things were going? I am about 4 or 5 beta versions behind now as time slips by me. I have been finding myself in the hospital and doctors offices now when not at work. Makes it kind of hard to work on a website or even fly for that matter. I do find an hour a week to brew up a new batch of home brew beer though. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon and I hope everyone here is doing well. Have a great day/night Ray

I get this Idear recently - How about a FSD Server for alle the Pilots and Airlines flying on VA Central? I think it would be fun to see other "real" People around while flying. If a Server is needed the EUV Root has plenty of ressources left:-)

I've looked here before and I always thought of phpVMS as a CMS, but I am beginning to realize that I needed something that has the ability to scale with the airline as it expands. I also hope to help out around her a bit more, since I am paid to work with MVC on PHP on a daily basis Simulated Continental is moving to phpVMS soon so this should be fun.

I'm about to start some full on development (perhaps even for phpVMS) with another PHP Framework. Does anybody have a favourite? I don't have much experience with PHP frameworks, the only framework I've ever used is Rails for Ruby. Thanks guys.

Anyone still fly the PSS 757? Personally I merged it with the New QW757 its awesome! One problem. I am missing a lot of SIDs/STARs with the most current AIRAC 1002 anyone have the same issue?

I stumbled accross this automatic backup script for cPanel users who have access to Cron Jobs. I use it to back up my phpVMS site. Hope somebody finds it useful! Add the file 'fullbackup.php' in your home directory (/home/(username)/). I am in the process of completing my new virtual airline, with the backbone of it being phpVMS. I have created a website, forum, media gallery, voice server, fleet and schedules well enough to be up and running. I will be adding to the fleet and schedules as time allows. My plans also include additional website features too Anyways, I am on the lookout for anyone who wants to get involved in my airline in a management capacity. Because of my incident, I haven't been able to work on the site very fast, And my staff team could not understand that, So they said they are going to kick me out. So i denied that and they are starting up their own SimUAL, Any know I own the content and the site. So they said they can steal all the content and site the any know i'm the creator. Hello again all! Hope everyone is having a great night/flight. I have been using FSFK since phpVMS was letting us use it. I cant help but notice that you MUST put in passengers load or cargo load.... or so I think. I did one flight and did not enter passengers OR cargo. When I submitted the flight, it said the flight was a loss due to all fuel cost and no income at all. Hmmmmmm So then I loaded up a flight and then entered the max allowable passengers for that flight and tah dah! it worked. Now on to the issue at hand. When filing a pirep manually, phpVMS will auto fill cargo or passengers depending on the flight type. that is not so with FSFK. I just did a flight and…

I noticed that there is an embedded METAR in the pilot brief page, and would like to be able to do this on another website (i.e. not phpVMS), but I can't find the code to do it. How is it embedded, and does it use PHP or JavaScript?
