I currently have just one airline running on my site. I've received a lot of requests to add a charter division. The problem is I don't want pilots going crazy and just flying charter 24/7. It would be great if someone could make an addon where it extracts pilot pay if they fly charter flights. Once their balance is gone they have to fly scheduled flights again. thanks !

I'm not one to do scripting, so if I could get some help, would be great. I'll ask questions regarding what I'm doing in this post. First off, how is a module created that shows up in the admin area as well as frontpage? Next, how can I show only 1 of each of the aicraft in the fleet on a page? edit: All this is going to be in the same module

Hi i just had an idea not sure if it would work but i dont see why not, i have various request to add routes in to my VA that currently are not there, this is because i dont have access to the realworld schedules, however what i was looking to do is create a form pilots could fill in the information and post pending moderation and that data could be imported in to the system. The form would need to contain all the correct fields required for a csv import or even a direct sql import once moderated. The data could be stored directly in to the database, i suppose another table could be created for this and once moderated a click could be put in to the correct phpvms table f…

Ok trying to get the pilots awards on a seperate page instead of being on the main profile page. Having a bit of trouble as its not feching data at all and ive even added awards to my pilot profile aswell. Afternoon All I currently have on my site a static fleet page gouped by aircraft type, however as part of my quest to learn MVC and php I thought I would have a go at making it dynamic so that when I add an aircraft the page auto updates saving me loads of work in the long run. So after an evening of browsing though phpvms files to see how it all ticks, and based on the public pilots list, grouped by hubs I made my class, module and tpl files. I had some success but not completely, the page gives me one group for each icao which is what I wanted, but it also gives me all the whole fleet repeated in each group! not just the aircraft specific to the group. basically I want to take information from custom pirep fields and display it in my airline stats. Example: I added a custom dropdown field in the file pirep page to specify if that pilot flew online or not... Hi all, I have a couple of questions and was hoping someone may be able to answer them for me. My airline and another have gone into a code-share partnership, what we would like to know is that is it possible to share our schedules tables from the databases with each other and display the results on a custom schedules results page from within each other sites? Also is it possible to get KACARS to report back to two VA's at the same time during a flight? Also how would I go about setting Microsoft access up to access my database? Many Thanks Karl

Hello, I'm making an ACARS and I've came up with a question... I know that phpvms accepts coordinates and altitudes for the PIREP and that they show up on the Map but I'm not sure where I need to send those and in what format... I think its on the route_details field of the DB but not sure... Thank you, Joao Lourenco.

I have made a page on my site for each one of my hubs. I have it pulling stats and pilot info. Now I am curious if we can create a link or something that would work like the schedule search except it would only list the flights to or from that hub. It would be real nice if it knew the difference between the cargo, passengers, or charter flights. That way We could create a link for each kind of flight. Wishful thinking or doable?

I have read the API's documentataion regarding sending variables to scrips using the URL. Like index.php/moduletest/pageone/apple/red Gives the varible 'apple' the value 'red' to the script function pageone However I wan't a module to remember the setting, while fetching an other variable, like /beer/isgood. Next time the page is loaded the scripts remember that the user already has seleced red apples, when the user select the option beer is good. Then can process a page based on these settings? Hey Guys! So I am developing my pilots center, and I had successfully modified the search form and results form. I tried using Simpilot's addon, but it is not compatible with the current PHPvms. Because I have over 8000 routes, it takes over 30 seconds for it to load. Is there a way where I can limit how many routes it loads at first so it can load faster? I tried pagination, but it still does the same thing (loads all at first then puts it in order). Attached is a photo of my schedules/view page. Is there a way where I can have a search form first, then display the schedules instead of having the schedules and search form?

Hello everyone! I'm in the process of developing and beta testing simFDR, which is a new flight data recorder for Flight Simulator as well as a cloud logbook service. It's based around the code that Delta Virtual and Air France / KLM Virtual have used for over a decade. It's a really, really good, high-fidelity flight data recorder for flight simulation. Afternoon everyone I'm currently building a module for my site which I plan to share on here for everyone to use if they want, it allows you to add extra information to an aircraft that can then be shown on a nice shiney fleet page, I am a bit stuck though, whilst I can pull the aircraft, add extra information to them and display it all on the fleet page with no problems, I just cannot for the life of me get it to update existing added extra data, I've been staring at this for four days without success, the query works when run direct in SQL command line, I've tried absolutley everything but clearly I've missed something that I can't spot, Please please please can some o…
