Mitchell is already building one but as far as i know, it works internal in phpvms. I am currently also developing one which you can already see on http://www.panam-airways.com/ . Its not yet ready (will be in 3-4 days maybe). Just type in Frankfurt and as arrival London, then click submit.. but as i said, not yet ready. It will look like a real airlines booking system

Has anyone ever made a marquee for phpVMS that automatically pulls data from the database? Say for example, I hit my mark and gain a new rank. It would add it to todays marquee and say Congrats TAV0001 for recent promotion to Captain..............Happy 45th Birthday Oscar the Grouch........Congrats TAV0001 on your 1 year anniversay I used to belong to a va ( Livewire Airlines) that actually has something like that. I enquired about it once and they told me in simple words that it runs a cron or something of the such and querys the database for new updated info that is preset and inserts it when necessary. Hi to all! I know is possible but, anbody have will to do it, cause im empty board on coding. I want that schedule is only shown from town the plane from schedule is in...got it...If plane is in KMEM then only schedule is shown for that registartion and KMEM...So if last logged place is KMEM next pilot if he want to use that same registration will be only be able to bid schedule from KMEM...cmon coders, this is code worth it for any serious VA. Thanx a lot!!!

Hi, I've seen similar topics to this on the forum, but nothing exactly like this one. Is there a way to have ranking changes be completely manual, and you receive an alert whenever someone reaches an hours requirement for their next ranking? My reasoning: I have the Exam Center module integrated in my website. As a sample, to get to the PIC CAT I rank, I'd like for a pilot to first reach 50 hours, then take an exam, and upon passing, get a promotion. I'm not very good with php code, so any bits of code to get this working would be awesome! Thanks for all of your help

Hello phpVMS community! My name is Jacob and I have been working on an addon for Nabeel's wonderful system for the past few weeks and I decided to go ahead and make an announcement towards its expected completion date. The addon is something of a first for phpVMS, as we have yet to see a well structured admin plugin (if any at all) that interacts with the database and the client side fluently. Hi guys, right now i am working on a script which will automatically output a real flightplan. It will look like the picture below and it will be included in the schedules_briefing.tpl - i am also working on a script where you can print out that flightplan but nothing else from that page. i think, i will need about 2-3 days until its done.

was wondering if there is any change in status of the aircraft for example when we edited in the admin center if you have to put them on maintenance or not I did this by adding a table in phpmyadmin and seeking via ops_aircraftlist and ops_aircraftform but I can not save it in phpmyadmin information anyone has any idea about this? I am nearly done coding an internal forum board system that runs within phpVMS but had something cross my mind about it. I have designed it that only members of the airline can post in it, does anyone allow non-pilots to post in their forum boards, is this option needed?

Hello all, i would like to know if someone could create a module that sends via email every 1th of month 6-8 routes to be flown by the captain as monthly assignment. The best would be to have a module on pilot center that shows the monthly assignments. These routes must be flown on the same aircraft (for example Airbus 320 and in case if the pilot has two choices - also for example B738, maybe he can choose at the beginning on a checkbox?). If it's always possible it could be great to sort the routes to assign randomly based on the flight numbers. Okay i just got 2 ideas but dont know how to make the code for. 1. Pilots will get a regular salary (like 3500$), if they fly or not. After 3 month without flying, they will get an email like "You didnt fly, how bad, now you have one month left or we delete your account" ooor the admin gets some msg in the admin panel and can write the email by himself.. 2. Lets change the rules and turn this into something realistic.. Hi Guys, Some of you might of heard of VSN or Virtual-Skies, its like Vatsim however alot smaller, Is it possible to intergrate online pilots from there website to ours/your va's live map? Work in progress: http://docs.phpvms.net/2.0_upgrade_guide Trying to denote specific changes. I hope this will make it much easier. For those writing add-ons, I'll let you know in advance when it's stable enough that you can port your addons over. I would recommend though, writing against the latest beta, and releasing them for the latest version, which should be due soon.
