Anyone else having trouble setting their forum avatar on these phpVMS forums? Accidentally deleted mine tonight and was attempting to reset to a new one, and keep getting the message "Failed to set a new photo". Made sure that my picture is larger than 200px, tried both jpeg and png, and meet the file size requirements... Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello All, I'm new to phpVMS and I'm not a programmer by any means. I have a friend working to help me get some things set up. I've noticed that the fuel weight in the system is currently set to KG. and I'm trying to find where to change it to LBS. Our ACARS application is capturing and reporting in LBS but the site is converting back to KG. Any help appreciated! Mike

Hi. I've been running a phpvms site for the past two years. Hi guys, I have several HUBS set up for my VA (http://www.rafairuk....ndex.php/pilots), but like us all I have a number of inactive or 0 hour pilots on roster. What I am trying to do is put all the pilots who I feel need to not be shown in the main rosters into on HUB that can then be hidden. That is the easy part and I can do that no probs. What I cant do is sort out the coding so that my current Rosters page will not display the HUB I have called "Holding Sqn" I have searched for something like this and the only thing I can find mentions something like "Skip it in the foreach loop in the pilot_list.tpl file". Hi, After the success of creating my website , I was onto the next hurdle , creating an ACARS application. I do not wish to use any application that has already been created (eg KACARS). Writing the program is not my issue, my main concern is sending the data to phpvms, so that it can receive the PIREP and process it. Could someone point me in the right direction ? Thanks, Arun

Hello, I recently started experiencing some problems with my Phpvms I keep getting tons of error messages when i go to my index.php and when i scroll down i can see a bit of my website i don't think it's a skin problem because i'm still using the default skin. I tried deleting all my databases and every phpvms file and reinstall everything but it still doesn't work does anyone know how i can solve this?

Dear Members recently we have moved our website to another hosting company, after shifting we requested them to restore our data backup file taken from previous hosting, they did the same for us after restoration of the data we found that our flight operation is not working means people connecting with acars system doing flights but pireps not coming to our database and also live flights not showing on our front page we did everything to resolve the issue change the configurations but not succeeded. to double check we did one more fresh install of simpilot 5.5x latest version but same issue exist with the new installation as well. Hi everybody!! I'm new to phpVMS. I'm owner of a VA and I would like to know how to send private email to a pilot. The only feature that I see in admin panel, is to send a mass email to groups (active pilots, all pilots, etc.) Is there a posibility to send email only to one pilot? thank you for your help.

Hello all, I'm getting this error when I try to install: Fatal error: Cannot re-assign auto-global variable _FILES in /home/flyopexx/public_html/phpvms/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 436 I'm using X-10 Hosting (free). I am not using a beta of PHPVMS, but I have tried that. Any ideas on how to fix this error? Attached is a screenshot of the last screen I get.

Hello guys, We have a issue where the flights can't be seen after a pilot bids the flight then complete it its still missing in the booking page thoe the pilot complete the flight and file's the priep we are using the addon front schedule http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/2197-schedule-search-airline-aircraft-arrival-departure/ to search flights.I think the problem lies on when a pilot completes the flight files the priep i guess the system thinks it still bidded by the pilot thoe he completed the flight.So how to delete the bidded flights in the database i know we can delete it in the PHP VMS admin panel but i want to delete it from the database.??? websi…

My index.php looks funny. If you go to my phpvms installation, on the /index.php page, I see all the code but not the results of said code. I don't really know how to describe it, so I've left the site as-is and I've let you see it here: http://www.flyopex.x10host.com/phpvms/index.php Please help! I cannot do anything like this, and my pilots can't file PIREPS when it looks like this... This is a new install on a free host using PHP version 5.4.

I have recently installed phpVMS in my website for establishing a virtual airline but facing some problems. The first problem is, whenever a person tries to register, they get an error "Unable to open socket". Also when I try to add airports manually I get an error "There was an error adding the airport". As a result we are unable to develop our website for our virtual airline. Also I'd like to mention that we are currently using a free host for developing our website but are planning to buy a host once we are ready to operate. What happens when a pilot stops flying after 30 or 45 days? Does php automatically delete them or put them "inactive" status; or something else? What is the difference between Inactive and On Leave as far as how php handles the pilot? I did not see a way to delete a pilot if they say they no longer want to fly; how can I do that? Is there a max limit of how many routes can be done on one .csv import file? Thanks for the help to a newbie, Jerry
