I added a new field (not custom, added in table) that has VATSIM ID. I got it working so it gets put in the table upon registration, but I need to fix it so it can be eddited in the edit profile page. The problem is if I echo $vatsimid it prints "Array". Help is appreciated. This is what I have so far: Profile.php public function editprofile() { if(!Auth::LoggedIn()) { $this->set('message', 'You must be logged in to access this feature!'); $this->render('core_error.tpl'); return; } $pilotid = Auth::$userinfo->pilotid; $this->set('userinfo', Auth::$userinfo); $this->set('customfields', PilotData::GetFieldData(Auth::$pilotid, true)); $this-&…

I logged into my site using my test pilot today (something I haven't done in a long time) to find the following error on the pilot centre: This appears nowhere else on the site. The code shown is from my profile_main.tpl, from the very first line. I presume it stops at 'backgroun' because it cannot display any more. I don't get this error on my own profile, and am unaware if it happens on other pilot's profiles. Could it be something to do with the double brackets (shown in red) ?

What causes the route_details column to be empty on a pirep? I have detected that PIREPS like this don't show navaids on the PIREP map. a:0:{} I dont' quite understand the reason because I see it on some that have 1 navaid, or 4 navaids--but then I have another with 4 navaids and route details showing. Ignore the one in image that says "Enter"; pilot didn't actually enter route from Simbrief. Low down: basically any PIREP with route_details that only has "a:0:{}" shows zero navaids on map. Let's look at bottom one; ID #91 with route BOCAP -- that is valid fix that I pulled from ForeFlight (on my table) to go from KCRG to KGNV -- it i…

I made a CSS style for a sidebar for my pilot center and training center and it works fine in google chrome, but theres a thick black line in IE going down the left side of it. I cant figure out how to make the line go away. Check it out in internet explorer at http://www.canforce.org/index.php/pages/trainingcenter Here's the external CSS Code: ul#css3menu1,ul#css3menu1 ul{ margin:0;list-style:none;padding:0;background-color:#000;background-image:url("mainbk.png");background-repeat:repeat;border-width:0px;border-style:solid;border-color:#999999;-moz-border-radius:4px;-webkit-border-radius:4px;border-radius:4px;} ul#css3menu1 ul{ display:none;position:absolute;left:10…

my navbar keeps disapeering when I go to another page, then it reapears. Its like it has to reload the navbar at every page and it takes a second. It also does it in the pilot center sidebar. Check ut this link, http://www.canforce.org/index.php and if you navigate to another page, the navbar will disapear for maybe 3-5 seconds and it like reloads. Here's the code from my core_navbar.tpl and it is similar to the code for my pilot center sidebar as well: <html> <body> <?php if(Auth::LoggedIn()) { ?> <object id="fm_menu_navbar" width="969px" height="27px" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedi…

Somewhere along the lines when I was absent a while back, I mussed have missed the whole navdata thing. I noticed I have the table created in my database and all inserts have been added. My question is, how is it relevant to our websites and how do we use it? That is a massive amount of info in the database to just sit there. Any info on this would be appreciated. Ray

Long time no talk all. Hope everyone is well! I've been fighting the navdata point display on the maps and have finally gotten it to point where I am happy, however I discovered an issue I can't quite figure out. When you run the parseRoute to generate the waypoints on the live map; it goes through airways and finds the entry/exit and everything in between. This works fine when the entry to exit is position (going forward) but when it's backwards it doesn't pull anything. I have this particular airway where I'm entering at sequence 36 - KULIS and exiting at sequence 20 - SIDAK. It will not pull the values for sequence 35 to 21. …

If anyone is interested, I've managed to compile a current Navdata file ready for import to your database. NOTE: although it contains all navaids and waypoints, it does not have any airway information, therefore phpVMS will not expand any airways in the route (tbh, I'm not sure if it does this anyway). Since the files are too large to attach, they are available here: Gzipped CVS file Gzipped SQL file It would probably be a good idea to back up your database first - I assume no resposibility for loss off data

Navdata Missing?

Some of my nav points in the US seem to be missing the lat coords. I have ran the sql at least three times and end up with the same result. Does the navdata.sql change from revision to revision?

Hi all, i wonder if it is possible to create a module to manually update the database navdata as for now it is only possible to do it directly in the database. A query module for the different fields to search on airway, location or name for easy searching and updating. Thanks and Regards

When I add a route I get wrong image when looking at it on a map. I get 'fix' img for a VOR and 'vor' img for a FIX. In file app.config.php following is stated: define('NAV_NDB', 2); define('NAV_VOR', 3); define('NAV_DME', 4); define('NAV_FIX', 5); define('NAV_TRACK', 6); But in the navdata table in MySQL a lot of fixes has type 3 defined and some VORs has mixed type 3 and 5 depending on airway. Is the definition in app.config.php correct or is the fault in the MySQL table navdata? Is this navdata.sql keept up to date? /BR Benny

Hi all, After updating the navdata on PHPVMs Version 5.5.2.72 the navdata table keeps updating every 2-3 seconds causing the mysql server to load very slow, therefore website is running very low. How to reduce sending those info ? Thank you

Firstly, I did "several" searches to find the answer to this question. Please forgive me if I missed it. When navigating (clicking on a link) in the Pilot Center, I find that I can not get back to the last screen I was on. If I use my browser's "Back Button", I am taken back to the main Pilot Center window. I am concerned with how confusing this would be for my pilots that are new to phmVMS. Thank you in advance for your responses! Murray
