I'm having issues with the PIREPS. I don't want to use the "Enter Flight Number" function so when I enter a PIREP and leave it blank I get: "You must fill out all of the required fields!" with Version 1.2.700 How do I make that not a required field? Thanks!

Is there a way for only base managers to approve PIREPS of pilots that belong to that base? Currently any base manager can approve PIREPS of all pilots no matter if they are their base manager or not. Thanks!

I've searched the forums here, but haven't found an answer yet. My issue is, a pilot uses kACARS, does the scheduled route, submits the PIREP, and it then populates the pilots DB table with the last PIREP date. If you reject or delete that PIREP, the pilots table does not get changed for the last PIREP date. What I want is that once a PIREP is submitted for approval/reject, it does not populate the pilots db table with last date until the PIREP is approved. I also use Simpilots PilotManager module. Can anyone point me to a forum thread with a solution or lead me to a place to resolve this? Thanks!

I get this when I approve a pirep. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2930 bytes) in /home/caspsh1/public_html/fly/core/classes/ezdb/ezdb_mysql.class.php on line 273 The pirep gets approved, I have go back to pending everytime. Any ideas what this means?

I actually looked for a setting this time. I could not find one. Maybe it is there and I am blind but.... I want to stop the PIREP submitted emails. Right now I have stopped it by commenting out a line in the PIREPData.class.php But I would rather use a local config setting. So my question is.... Is there a setting for this? If so what is the name? Thanks

Hi all Our new website for Air Southwest Virtual is now well underway with this excellent VA management system, for which I am very grateful as it has saved me hours of coding to date. However, we are currently testing the PIREP system, and I've found that it asks for the time to be entered as hours.minutes, for example 1.3 would be 1 hour 30 mins, but on the pilot centre page it says I have 2.85 hours left until reaching our next rank. Not sure you can have .8 of an hour if you follow the rule above, as it would be 80 mins, so technically I have 2 hours 85 mins left. Is this the correct action? Also, is there any way to force the "Select Airline" box to the airline,…

.930 My pilots are reporting that even though they file the Pirep correctly giving a correct Dept ICAO and Arr ICAo when it arrives at admin for approval the Arrival filed hs been populated with the Departure ICAO. I haven't changed anything in the pirep tpl's. It means that the Fleet table also is not being updated correctly with the last filed pirep position. Any Clues or is this a BUG! Thanks Alex

Hey everyone, I did a search to see if there was anything on here to answer or help me with a small issue I'm having. I did a small flight just test out a couple of things on received this error when trying to approve the PIREP in the admin CP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in admin/modules/PIREPAdmin/PIREPAdmin.php on line 130 and on line 130 is as follows foreach($allpireps as $pirep_details) Is anyone able to help me with this at all? Last night Troy and I were testing some flights....I did a 40 minute flight and put in the info in...I entered the time as .40 and it blew the pirep up!! LOL So Troy did one and entered as 0.40 and we are good...Just thought I would share...

I am running the latest beta. I had a couple manual flight reports, when the pilots submit them the aircraft, fuel and all the info isn't there. I asked a reliable pilot and he stated he filled it all out, but it doesn't show when they submit.

About two dayas ago was installed the last beta, after that no pirpes are recorder on database, via xcars or manually, i check all pireps sent by myself, route, time, aircraft, departure arrival, etc.... Database was checked gor any bug but is clean, after install the las beta version 10 pireps were uploaded on it, but after installation no new records appears. Live map also no working and no shoing on line pilots.......i put this post after check all things and also reinstall las beta version. Any suggestion?? Regards

Hi all we have a problem with the manual pilot report not accepting non schedule flights. Xacars will and sends then through and the VMS soft ware accepts them. But if a pilot sends a non schedule flight through with the pilot report it gives an error, Is there any way we can make the pilot report accept non schedule flights. This is important to the way we run our VA which is a charter VA, such things as returning aircraft to base etc are necessary. Can you help please. PaulD.

Good day ! I am using smartCars with phpVMS. I was dealing with creating a route map for the pirep view. I based myself on the default one. The default map processes the field "route_details" of pireps. I thought I was going to do the same, but all this field contains for every pirep is a:0:{} I think it is due to the ACARS we're using that is smartCars. Do you guys know how to fix that ? Thank you !

Hello, I knoow for a fact a pilot filed his flight (I've also filed a manual pirep) and afterwards nothing is being sent through can Someone PLEASE HELP ME THIS IS URGENT i have 40+ pilots that may be doing flights today . Also when i go to the Admin Center, ALLLLLL pireps filed from Last month and a week ago are gone (deleted) but the Flight DATA is still within the website becaz the "Top pilots Landings" page is still showing the pilot's landing rates ( http://skybahamasva..../TouchdownStats ) Problem @ http://skybahamasva.co.cc/ Would this problem occur with clearing cache's or something? I NEED URGENT HELP PLEASE!

Updated to Rev v2.1.934-98-g2a0cc32 and everything works from my database, but going to my Admin Center and clicking 'show all reports' it says there aren't any!! Checked my database and the PIREPs table is still intact. Confused on how to re-sync my website with my PIREP table.

Is there any way i can view pireps by group instead of assigned hub. For instance i go into the admin center i click the pending pireps. I can then select "view my hub" instead of a hub is there a way i can "view my group" Or is there a way to add multiple hubs for a pilot... Reson im asking is we have regional managers that cover 3 hubs. So I need the specific 3 hubs to be grouped together so that a regional manager can view the pireps within his hubs. Hello We have an error with the pireps and FSACARS. When a pilot sent a pirep from FSACARS, he uses the SEND LOG button. After he clicked on this button, he has this message : Log sent ! After that, I receive an e-mail : A PIREP has been submitted by FSW004 FSW0004: TNCM to SOCA Aircraft: 3, Flight Time: 2.15 File using: fsacars All seems to be ok, but I don't have the pirep in phpVMS. No pirep in the database, no pirep in the admin panel, no pirep in all the system ! I just have the e-mail, but I don't have the pirep. I am currently using the last version of phpVMS : 2.0.796 What can I do to solve this error ? Thanks Stéphane

Below is the bug report from my site. Issue : Hours for flights flown using FSACARS are not being counted correctly when the PIREP is filed from within FSACARS Example : http://www.ceruleanairlines.com/main/index.php/profile/view/4 Should show as 4.7 not 4.07 Original Report : Quote I filed a PiREP today for one of the ferry flights in the MD83. I filed a 4.7 hour flight with the use of FSACARS (which i didn't show up on the map.) However on my pilot page it shows 4.07 hours, basically getting docked over .5 hours of flight time. Can we please just use tenths (.1) and not go to the hundredth (.01) It would make life so much easier Smiley

Hi Everyone, I am new to phpVMS and love it so far. One problem I have is that our pilots don't normally fly scheduled flights. They just fly any where anytime. When it comes to manually submitting a pirep it always asks for flight numbers and wont let you enter dep ICAO and arr ICAO as it gets this from flight schedules. Is there a way that they can put in their own ICAO codes and Flight numbers etc to submit it ? Or has anyone done a module to do this ? Thanks in advance John
