For some reason I dont see the boarding pass on my Virtual Airline website. I figure its supposed to come up when you bid for a flight or when you go on the bids page or something, but I just dont see it.

Hello phpVMS fans, I am not a php expert by any means and this is probably a simple one but annoying me to no end none the less. I have gotten the site up and running with some success and I have all pages centered except the "route details" page. It functions correctly but the page jumps to the left margin all the time. Simply annoying to me : If anyone could give me a hint in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. I have been told to make a new topic for this. I asked about a week ago how to remove the Departure Time, Arrival Time and Day of Week from the schedules. I was told that it wasn't possible but I should keep it there for VACentral, I don't want to use VACentral as I want my VA to remain as it is. In the General Feature Request section I then asked about changing and the ability of deleting current fields (not adding just custom fields) and I got told that I could do it by changing some code to a default value of 0 for the fields I didn't want, I just assumed that it was in the admin panel part for schedules so I changed the value to 0 but now have the 'Time Flown', 'Detai…

Hi Nabeel, I was wondering whether it would be possible to change the format used to show total hours flown by an aircraft. I think the issue stems from the time first entered into the PIREP as a non-standard format, e.g. 1.3 for 1 hr 30 mins rather than 1.5 or 90 mins. As such, the total hours flown by one of my aircraft is showing as 3.9 which of course is actually 4 hrs 30 mins. It's not a mega problem, but just one which results in some head scratching when looking at the reports in the admin reports section

Hi Nabeel, I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to consider a change to the downloads section. As it stands, all download categories are on the same page. What I think would be cool is if when you went to view the downloads, it would take you to a page where the categories are listed. You could then, click the category you wanted to view just those files. When you consider that a lot of VAs will have ten to twenty aircraft and may have those files for both FS2004 and FSX, the page may get a little long. As well, you could also make a utilities category for panel files, pdf manuals, etc. Just my two cents! Chuck CYXU

Below is the bug report from my site. Issue : Hours for flights flown using FSACARS are not being counted correctly when the PIREP is filed from within FSACARS Example : http://www.ceruleanairlines.com/main/index.php/profile/view/4 Should show as 4.7 not 4.07 Original Report : Quote I filed a PiREP today for one of the ferry flights in the MD83. I filed a 4.7 hour flight with the use of FSACARS (which i didn't show up on the map.) However on my pilot page it shows 4.07 hours, basically getting docked over .5 hours of flight time. Can we please just use tenths (.1) and not go to the hundredth (.01) It would make life so much easier Smiley

Hi Nabeel, If I read things correctly, the stats listed on the badge are supposed to be regenerated upon the filing of a pirep. It doesn't seem to be updating. Is there something that I may have missed in the configuration? Thanks, Chuck CYXU

I have installed the new update and I have had to just close down my site temporarly to get my graphics back, they seem to have disappered. But when I used the system first and was adding in the schedules, there are two fields which I don't want, departure and arrival times. I don't care about the flight time, I would want that but I don't want the pilots to think they are restricted by the timee they fly and its a pain filling them two fields in anyway. How do I remove them?

I have been getting emails about when i pilot sings up to my va they get a blank email. The email that tells you you signed up to VA such and such and a administrator will contact you when your membership gets approved. Now i dont know if its something that is being caused by the new update. I have made a fresh re install and it still keeps on happening. Any help. P.S. DONT MESSAGE SAYING TO SEARCH THIS TOPIC AS I HAVE SEARCHED IT AND FOUND NOTHING!!! Any help will be appreciated!

Hey guys, I've tried to fix this problem for a few weeks now. But when you go here - http://flycirrusair.com/index.php/pilots and scroll to the bottom My hours show all messed up. I have re-filed the pirep's, removed tranfered hours, and all that but it still says that. Any help is good! Thanks

Have noticed that whne I'm adding in flights across the international date line the calculated distance is all screwed up. For example, YSSY (Sydney) to PHNL (Honolulu) comes up as 19155 miles. Apart from entering these manually, is there a potential bug/solution here?

First of all....Great look for the new site. I think it looks really professional. i uploaded and installed the 7 update. I am having trouble with the boarding pass. When I click the link all I get is a blank page. I have tried it in FF and IE with the same results. I can't seem to track down the source of the problem. I also cant seem to find the Pilot briefing page

Hi all, I've just updated to the build 700 and found that the add bid button has gone from the schedules page. I've checked the templates (in dreamweaver the button shows), made sure they are in the skin folder properly and to no avail. Any help is apreciated! cheers, roboa

I'm working on one of these phpVMS sites and I'm not sure if my client updated the site or what he did (communication can be quite delayed) and we're getting this message: A few things going on here: 1. Note the double / after "public_html" in the template file url. 2. Note that Constant "CURRENT_SKIN" is not defined apparently and the constant's name is output. odd result if you ask me. I defined it in the core/codon.config.php and it fixed that problem which revealed to me another... 3. Constant "SITE_NAME" is not defined and is also being output simply as the constant's name. 4. Hi Nabeel, I have an idea that I wanted to float by you. Would it be possible to extrapolate a rough heading of the flight by taking the present position and comparing it to the intended destination? If so, adding some extra icons to the image folder, say an icon oriented for every five degree increment and then calling up the appropriate icon to display on the map. It would not be perfect since it would always want to point to the lat and long of the destination while you are sitting at the gate. Hi Nabeel, I have installed phpVMS on my server and I am running it through some tests prior to going live with the pilots. When I entered in my previous hours and did an Update of the ranks, it worked great...except for a few things. On the pilot profile, it shows the text of my Rank correctly and displays the proper badge. But the text just below the pilot stats telling me how many hours left till my next promotion does not reflect the change. It still sees me as a zero time pilot. As well, if I click on view my badge, it shows me at the lowest rank with zero hours. I have not logged a flight on this install yet. Other than that, it is working mint!! Chuck CYX…

Alrighty here is the deal, one of my pilots has posted on out site saying that he submitted a pirep and its not showing in his recent pireps. I go to the admin panel and the flight he flew before the one that did not show up is there in good flying colors. Yet the other one says he is missing the aircraft reg. and name, so would this cause it to not show up in his recent pireps cause as soon as i added the name and reg it showed....?? Here is his post.. So im guessing it didnt show cause of the no aircraft name and reg. Just thought i would ask thanks.

Hi friend. We are facing a problem when sending the log to the server. After stopping the log, and accepting the flight, when i send it i receive the following message. DATABASE ERROR, but the log is written to the log.txt file and in the SQL table. The problem is only when concluding because the file ""pilot number".dat" is not removed from FSACAR folder. Hello Again, let me put it that way Since 2008 we had two AC, each 50000 per month - that means 100000 totally Now (in May) we bought a third one and added another 50000 per month - that means 150000 totally The problem is that effects all previous months too. I have a feeling my accounts been hacked by somebody. I put a new page form called report a problem and this is what its come up with. I put a form in there. It only comes up in my account, I haven't made any test pilot accounts or anything and when somebody who isn't logged on comes on, it comes up as not found. I am worried about this as I was hoping to start advertising today.

Hi, I'm very new to PHP and PHPHVMS in particular. I host my website on bluehost and am encountering a problem with accessing my newly created database. I used to have another php system on my website which someone else designed for me but I decided to opt for PHPVMS because of the opportunities it has to offer. Now, to be honest, the install guide isn't much helpful and after having looked in this forum, all request for help was either answered specific to the host type (which is why I mentioned my host) or was re-directed to the primary guide - but that's the reason why we resort for help to these forums.
