Hello, This is my first topic, hope to get good help from our coders.. Me and my friend are making a Virtual airline which consists of 7-8 airlines, since we all know that there is no tab for "By Airline type" on the schedules page like "By Aircraft type", "By departure airport", etc. So can anyone help us in making that tab on schedules page please!!

Hello, I am adding awards and i see the pictures on the award page but in the pilot center and profile page i can not see those images. Only says the name of the award. How can i fix this problem? Also is it easy to give awards automatically? Thanks

Hello all, so i have tried to install PHPVMS To my webserver, I followed the PDF Step By Step and after i had set up the admin account a set of errors came up. I decided to make the switch-over to PHPVMS-5 so I decided to set it up separate to the old version then, on switchover day just import all the data from the old DB to the new DB. So I did that then went through the various maintenance options in the admin panel, it found the pilot pay from the PIREPs. So far so good. Everything seems to work EXCEPT that it thinks that there are NO PIREPs to be found. When I then tried to submit a PIREP it appeared on the main page news feed but otherwise disappeared?!?!?!?!

hello folks My name is Daniel and I am new to the forums. I am helping out a friend with the set up of his VA and their schedules will be over 10k in number. This will be a strain for the browser to load into one page. my plan is to paginate so that they will display a certain number say 50 to each page. I am new with all this stuff. I am using smartcars and phpvms defult crystal skin. Everthing seems perfect exepct; 1- My map on Live Map has been gone only grey color stays. And i did my first flight with my tracker, after the flight i can still see it on the list of Live map page. Howlong will stay after the flight? 2- I see my pirep info and i see numbers right like Kg but says lb.(pound) I think my smartcars send data as a kilo which is i like to see as Kilo. How can i fix it? But please explain easy way because i am new and i don't know much. Thanks, Omer

Hi We have some code to pull the airline logo for our recent flights board - but I would like to return the same for the live flight info. For some reason the same code does not work and instead of returning the airline logo it returns VTA as the answer all the time for every flight and displays the airline logo. The code we use for the recent flight board is below and works fine. I have tried editing it but cannot find the solution. Should it be looking at the $PIREP data or something else? Hello everybody, I try to get phpVMS working for my new VA I've uploaded in first time the phpvms.full.zip package on my web hosting. I've some issues solved by reading this forum and thanks for this at all of you. Finaly the installation was done successfully. But when going on my homepage I've the following error : So, I've tried with the phpvms.upgrade.zip but this not fix the issue I've seen a post on this forum, but with no solutions to solve this What I have missed ? Here is a weird issue I am having, and it started out of the blue. I got a new pilot today. When he flies, my ACARS Map goes blank. He is using smartCARS, as are most of us, and yet none of us have this issue. I can have every pilot in the VA fly and everything is fine, once this one pilot connects, the whole map goes blank. There have been no code changes on my front page for over a week. I had him uninstall and reinstall smartcars, and we are still having the problem. Any ideas??????

Hey guys, I get this in ADMIN panel.. and I can't resolve it. Equally, with codeshare module (Strider) I don't get the file in the sidebar, and it's a pain to do codeshares.. Any assistance greatly received! Running simpilot 5.5.2 as phpVMS and PHP 5.5 (I think..) Thanks guys!

Hello , I am starting a VA, and wow do I love PHPVMS lol I just have two questions for you guys. So for some reason I cannot get anything to show up on the Live Map, I am running FSACARS and using the config file and all that. I have not edited the acarsmap.tpl at all, I have found another post on this forum about this issue but it did not help me at all. Any help? The other question I have is, when a pilot bids on a flight, is there an option to keep that schedule from going away? So other pilots can bid the same schedule? Thanks SOLVED Thanks! Hi I am using go daddy for my website hosting and database. I try to log into the database on php installer but then i get a error saying " Error: Access denied for user 'xxxxx'@'localhost' to database 'xxxxxxxxx". What does that mean please help. P.S I have already talked to go daddy support.

I am hoping someone out there can help me again with another issue. I am using my own skin and have my own Search form and results page and the form works fine but the resulting search doesn't have any formatting, it almost seems as though it isn't adhering to the same rules for the layout file? Is this true, or should the search results conform to the page content like any other template file? Perhaps I need to add the relevant style links directly in the search result file (schedule_results.tpl/php)? Thanks, Graham

Hello everyone, After getting back from a "break" i'm starting my VA again however i'm having tons of problems installing some of them are already solved such as the restricted access error, the local config error, one from the pilotdata and more. I have been told this is caused because the php version on my server is a newer version. Hi Guys, Because I run an alliance VA, we have multiple airlines, multiple routes etc. We are currently standing at 32k routes and it's basically sending my php memory limit into spasms! So my question or challenge is; would it be possible to create or modify a function within phpvms so that rather than the standard form trying to pull all routes to then search on (tell me if I'm wrong on this, just my understanding), I can use a form to purely select from DEP ICAO, ARR ICAO, Aircraft Type, Distance and it then make a query to the database to return only the results needed? This issue is having a knock-on effect for me with modules also that require routes to be booked…

Good Day to all, I have this sporadically issue with the cache files for about a year. I checked folder permission and are set to 777. I think the problem is the owner of the files, all cache files are set to 99 99 instead of 504 502. If i delete all file via ftp and i reload, the problem disappears. The problem returns if the cache is cleared by the administrator panel. Hi All, I have been through all the posts I can find in relation to receiving a 'No route passed' error when trying to add a bid through the Scheduling search form. I do use a bootstrap template and I have tried the noconflict query and I have also tried removing the jquery reference from the template (which renders part of the template non functional) but the same problem occurs. Hello and thank you for the work you have done (phpvms I am new to all this and i will like to ask if anyone can guideme with a link or something how to setup correctly fspassengers (servers side) to speak with the pirep system that the phpvms uses so i can actually use it in my va and have pilots sent their pireps . I think this is a serious problem. I have been unable to send mail since l first install it. The problems of more terrible now. I found that no matter how I set, it always displays success. If I use smtp, no log files indicate that sent the email, login in the smtp. About mail server,I tried using anonymous mode,But still not effective. If I use another mode. l cant find any logs path about the send mail. ps:I use win08, php5.3.
