Hi, I have tried to installed the Exam Centre for PHPVMS and having trouble getting it to work. Hi Guys, Yes I know there are much posts of this type but I really need help. I'm still learning phpVMS and I started building my VA. I'm polish so I want to translate my phpvms into polish language but when I finally changed words in the template and uploaded files into my host there was a lot of incorrect words just like that: Staff is in Polish = ZarzÄ…d and the (Ä…) letter wasn't read correctly. I want to know how do it correctly I tried to change the type of words in my SQL base from standard utf8 into utf8_polish-ci but it didn't help Thanks, Grettings

I am helping someone with their site. He has this error file_exists(): File name is longer than the maximum allowed path length on this platform (4096) On the index page and the profile pages. We thought it was the skin, I uploaded a different skin to test that theory. Same error. phpVMS 5.5.2 php 5.4. We have also tried it with php 5.5 and 5.6 There is a route, airplane, and two airports in the database. There is some data. Any hekp would be appreciated.

When we change a pilots rank/level from within phpVMS ( in the "admin" section - pilot details ) it does not update in the database. So every change means going into the DB to adjust manually rankid + rank + ranklevel Any pointers ? Where to start looking ?

Hi simmers, We have been using phpVMS with Kacars for a couple of years now. The ISP we have been with is closing down, and we need to move to a new host. The current host is running on KonsoleH and the new one on CPanel Even though we did inquire beforehand if there would be issues with the migration, everybody assured us that the move over will be a walk in the park, needless to say, that didn't work that way We did as instructed, zipped the complete route of the old host and exported the DB's manually. This was uploaded to the new site. The new Host did create the folders & import the DB's. We have the main site - www.abcde.org and two subs forum.abcde.or…

Hi, I have a .csv airport database which I attempted to import into phpVMS via the admin center. On Chrome it said it was uploading and once it was done, the page just refreshed. I looked in the airports listing, and they did not change. I don't see why this is happening. The file is correctly formated (I'm pretty sure!) and I ticked the box that it had a header. It has nothing to do with my internet connection since we have tried using different people's computers to upload it. I'll attach the .csv in this post. Thanks, Mark airportsnew.csv

Good day gents after transferring my website to new server, i had some errors but everything resolved, i believe that the php version is the bug, however only thing missing now, in my admin i got sidebar_pirep_pending.tpl no the status of pireps it's simple shown : sidebar_pirep_pending.tpl no more, any suggestions ? Hey guys i recently had some malicious users causing trouble by using the forgot password function on the phpVms system and running various email addresses through the function. Basically i have disabled this function from all apart from admins as anyone that knows your email address can use the system to reset your password potentially locking you out if you miss the email, not only that if they gain access to your email then they have your whole site. The current way that the system used is too insecure which is why i have disabled it, does anyone have a better way thats been thought of and implemented?

Hi, I've just recently reinstalled phpVMS on my site. The reinstallation was smooth, but I am unable to do anything with phpVMS as following any of the links on the navbar, or using the login form, just brings me a 404 error (like so, http://vkenya.or.ke/index.php/login). Hello, I currently just add Passenger Routes to the Airline I work for (Virtual Aviation Group) Would Someone kindly tell me how to set up a Cargo Route and what I need to enter for Cargo amounts/Prices? So, I've hit on an unusual issue that has occurred as a result of having to rebuild my VA. My hosts 123REG, made a major stuff up and deleted a load of servers including ours. We've rebuilt it from a backup image but we've got a few odd things going on now. First and most important is that our pireps are now not recording anything in the "log" field of the pireps table in the database. I wondered if it could be to do with Smartcars but that is recording the details just fine and I've checked their scripts and they are all good and as they should be. I've checked to see if there are any errors being logged but there aren't. I'm not really sure what to check next. Can an…
