Folks, Currently I have the latest 10 flights showing on the front page of our site. The AIRCRAFT column is using the registration number. I would like to have this changed to using the name of the aircraft. How do I go about doing this? Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Hi Nabeel, I found what could be a problem with the new "Change Pilot ID" function. It appears that all my admin pilot groups can use this function. Even my basic hub managers that just have manage PIREPS as their only permission. I just tested this on my dev site to be sure. Thanks, Keith

in new 2.1.926 version trying to change a pilot's id, the error "invalid pilot" appears. I have changed the id length in local.config from 4 to 3, and trying to change my id: from 001 to 335. the "invalid pilot" appears. the same occur without changing the id length what i do wrong?

Currently when a pilot is market inactive/Retired they have to contact Staff to to change their status. Where is this set in the code? We want them to be able to file a PIREP and change their status back to active. The filing can be done either manually or via ACARS.

Hi There, i use an addon for live route show for PHPVMS. It works amazing, but i see sometimes a straight line, the problem is my acars program (or phpvms) sends/recieving just every 2 minutes an update of my position. Is there a way to change that to 1 minute or something? I hope you can help me! Thanks a lot Jelle

hi guys, i have searched the forums but haven't been able to find a solution. My virtual airline has just changed all of the staff email accounts, whenever we try to send out a mass email to all of our pilots (using the email all pilot function) it sends the email through the old account. Is there a way to change it to the new one ? Thank you for your time

Hi Recently we have changed the rank structure, is there a way for pilot to now be automaticly be re assigned a new ranks. As in hte pilot list they're all still showing the old ones? Hope I explained that well Cheers Ross

Due to some... bad decisions... I made when starting phpVMS, template files are pretty much plain-text. Even though I've posted instructions, and included in the default install instructions on how to add the .htaccess, there's still ways of getting someone's template files. This is causing all sorts of problems with theft. So what I'm thinking of doing are two things: Renaming all template files from. tpl to .php - this allows for the PHP code to be hidden Adding a code-check to make sure phpVMS is calling the template, and if not, nothing shows This will be a backwards incompatible change, but I feel like it's worth it. Hi there, I am trying to change the PIREP report page in admin templates to remove "click to approve all" as the PIREP's do not show up in the log file but it looks like copying it to the skins folder dose not work you have to edit the file in the admin/template folder itself. Am I missing something when copying it to the skins folder or dose this only work for the public templates? Public templates coped over work OK. Thanks David.

First I would like to say this that phpvms is a great piece of software. Question; I have added two fields to my PIREP report. One weather conditions and the other is flight plan. However, I can not get them to display more then 35 characters. I would like them to be the size of the default comment field. I'm sure it is easy to do but I can not seem to fine in the templates where to make the change. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Captain BB

Hi there When my users submit a PIREP, I would like them to select a flight number from one of the schedules I've created without having to remember the flight number. I've managed to convert the flight number text box into a dropdown menu but not sure how to pull the schedule flight number and note through so the data appears in the dropdown automatically. Any ideas how I would go about doing this? Apologies, I'm still learning! Thanks in advance
