This might not be the correct forum, but I am trying to find out where the aircraft in the PIREP is being reported from. Is it the aircraft in the schedule the pilot has bid on? The reason is we're trying to implement routes that can be flown by any aircraft and I don't want 27 number of aircraft types in our fleet) different flight schedules for each route. So I thought about adding a "default aircraft" to every route and then allowing the pilots to select the actual aircraft being flown from the dropdown menu in our customized kACARS. So our question is will that work? Will the aircraft we select from the dropdown be reported on the PIREP, or is it the one from the ori…

Hey everyone, after putting to kacars_free.php into the FTP, I tried opening kacars free and was successful. but once I tried to connect to my site to do a test flight I got an error. The error was, Notify System Administrator of the Switch error. Data not recived Switch = verify Can someone please help me out. Thanks

When i try to log in , a message comes up that says ""access to the path C:\Program Files(x86)\FS-Products\kACARS_Free\send.xml is denied"" I tried to log in from another pc and its OK.

Hello there, I am facing an issue with kACARS which kinda puzzles me. Basically, what has happened is I had to move hosts, due to an unfortunate free hosting suspension. It was a test account anyway for site development, and now we're looking to open the airline soon, so we moved to a new host, I only carried the templates over, but I get this mysterious warning upon connection through kACARS to the new server. I can't really copy it, since I don't know a way out of a window, nevertheless, it talks about code from x10's suspension page. Any ideas why as I'm puzzled? Hi, I am trying to set up a new VA using phpVMS and kACARS_Free v1.0.1.1 and Module v1.0.1.1. When I try to Log In from the kACARS_Free I get the typical "Notify System Administrator of the Switch error. Data not recieved. Switch = Verify" I have researched the forum for similar problems and I have tried all the suggestions. Unfortunately I have not been able to resolve this issue so far. I will appreciate your help. Hi all, I have been helping a friend set up Kacars free. He is not PHPvms nor is he free hosting. I put the module in the directory and filled out the relevant info but cannot connect at all. Does it have to be a PHPvms websit. I have looke arround the forum but cant find anything. The web address is www.jet2virtual.com Any suggestions. Hello I've had already a few times that the fuel consumption posted by kacars was incorrect. I think I've got it narrowed down to that you have to set your fuel *before* hitting start flight, but not sure. I have a pilot that is running windows 7 and of course as an admin. This program loads and appears to work fine. When entering VA settings it allows the pilot to fill in the information and when he clicks the save button it deletes the information and does not show in the saved VA settings. Any ideas?

Hi. I have been using Kacars free for about a year now and it's great! http://www.fsvintage...pvms/index.php/ I do have a question, on the live map everting is working fine, but the Distance/Time Remain does not work. Does the Distance/Time Remain only work for the paid version or is there somthing I need to do to get the Distance/Time Remain working? Thank you for your time, Kenny.

Hi i have installed phpvms not on a free host but in a vps server with centos 5 x86_64bit http://5.231.49.79/ i have php 5.3 installed but kacars is not connecting it shows connection error i have installed php-xml , php-xmlrpc and some other modules but its not working can someone help me?

We are using Custom kAcars, but I have a general situation about charters. I haven't had much luck with replies on the general support forum. The problem we are having is that all charter flights have zero gross/revenue! I checked the pireps table in the database and it shows the flighttype as 'P' which means passenger flights, not charter ('H'?) My question, are charter flights supposed to have flight type 'H' in database or is 'P' normal? 1) Can someone please check their VA pirep table and see if the charter flights are having their flighttype set to "H" and not "P"? 2) and In general, does PHPVMS handle charter flights "out of the box" in terms of calculating the…

I have a pilot who is having a strange problem with his kACARS - it will not show all of our VAs fleet in the drop-down list. He sees only 4or 5 of the 32 available aircraft. All other pilots are NOT experiencing this, which tells me that something is wrong with his install or its setup. is there anyone that might be able to shed some light as to what might be taking place? thanks

Hi! I introduced ACARS in my VA, using of course kACARS. It works well, I'm happy about it. I have a quick question, when a pilot ends his flight, the flight shows in the live map page for a very long time! Maybe they don't close kACARS properly? Do we have to close flight sim before kACARS? Thanks!

Hello kacars was stirring in the fall and noticed a problem when the charter flight is put everything runs normally until the aircraft for the flight is that we do not have a choice if the flight is pax ok but if not the position to place the burden for is the only option pax would fit it my congratulations I wanted to have their intelligence

Hi everyone! I just now started messing with KACARS and am curious why I do not show up on my live map on site? I see screenshots of others on their maps but for the life of me, I can not get mine to show. All other ACARS scripts that work with livemap work on my site. Done checked. Hi, one of my pilots is saying that when he starts kACARS and sets up his flight and is at an airport which has add-on scenery kACARS tells him that his aircraft is not on the ground? is there a fix for this or is it a problem on his machine? Thanks Scott

Hi there, I have a user that cannot connect to our site with kACARS V1.0.0.8. We have checked the following: he use the correct base url: http://www.uvsaaf.fsworld.co.za/ He have the correct Username AND Password He use Win 7 ,and he set his program compatibility to Win Xp SP3 AND run as Administrator Firewall AND antivirus turned off I could connect with my kACARS using his username and password.
