Hi There, I want some help installing phpvms7, I am currently using phpvms5.5.2.72 and I want to go ahead and install phpvms7, but I am facing some problems when installing. I uploaded the phpvms7 files to a new folder, and when installed, this error appeared I attached a pic Note: I am using phpvms 5.5.2.72 and I need to change to phpvms7 with the old date I have it on phpvms5.5.2.72 Server Information cPanel Version 110.0 (build 24) Apache Version2.4.58 MySQL Version10.6.17-MariaDB PHP Version 8.1 If anyone can help me I will be thankful to him Best Regards

Hiya! An issue I've encountered with my phpVMS-based website. We're experiencing significant loading times, often between 10 to 15 seconds, which we believe is impacting user experience negatively. Our database is quite extensive, containing around 16,000 flights. Upon investigating the issue using Laravel Debugbar, we discovered that a large number of duplicated SQL statements are being executed. i added a new custom airport Calamocha LECH from MS2020. Actually, LECH already exist so i gave icao LECH1. When i select it on ACARS i get an error " Error prefiling. " VaCentral/VaCentral::getAirport(): Return value must be of type VaCentral/Models\Airport, none returned". Can you help to solve it?

I recently imported 4000 flights via admin/flights/imports. Only 3250 can be seen. What will cause the difference? What is the permiters or specifics that the import system uses to compare routes? Duplicate flights have been removed and all flights are marked as active prior to import on cvs exported from admin/flights/export. All flights are marked as visible. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hello So I began importing routes into my VA through the import CSV function. One batch of route is giving me problems though, every time I attempt to import them i receive a 500 error message from the VA website. When i refresh and check the flight table, about a little less of half of them make it through, i then tried splitting them up but still receive the 500 error and it is only for this specific batch of airport pairs as i am able to import other routes fine. I looked at the laravel logs, and the only errors i can see are from a seperate unrelated issue that was solved which had to do with duplicate airport submissions. I also have ended u…

Hi everyone! I am new to phpVMS and website creation, so please excuse me, but this is completely stumping me. I have added EGLL and KIAD in the airports section, but when I try to create new flights, I cannot find these airports in the dropdowns. I already checked that my .env APP_URL is correct for the mySQL databse, but I'm not sure what else could be causing this. Does anyone have any ideas? Your help is much appreciated.

Hello admin owner of newly installed VA using PHPvms7. install was performed by tfdidesign creators of smartcars3. I was given a password to login and told to change it once I logged in. Under the admin panel for my user I changed my password, I believe I did. I entered what I wanted my new password to be. I have been chasing down a reason my emails stopped going out the door. When I first set up the website, emails from News postings went out. We weren't flying yet. Then after a few days, no emails going out. Checked Logs in storage/logs and I didn't find anything that looked like email failure, quite the opposite, it said it sent 11 emails. Hey all, my phpvms (latest Dev version on PHP 8.2)) has stopped emailing when I create a NEWS ITEM. It sent out the first one, but not since on the next 2 I wrote up. Email still going out when people register. Is there a log to review? Is the a way to mass email members beside news items? -Nacman

Using latest Dev build and php8.2 also using disposable basic I am having trouble creating downloads and having the "Downloads" menu item show the files or pages. I went into pages/links in admin menu. created a downloads link entry. I had a folder I created called downloads off public_html. Inside of downloads I created another folder called vmsacars and placed ACARS.ZIP in there. That created a second menu item called "Downloads" no what I wanted, but it still did not show the files. Instead a 403 error. SO I deleted that entry in pages/links, that got rid of the second downloads menu item, but now the original one is showing …

New User here. If you are just getting into phpvms 7, as I am, the METAR and TAF don't work because aviationweather.gov replaced the API. I deleted the code fix as it has already been fixed in later versions and I should not have posted code here, instead made a bug report. Newguy still learning. Thanks, -Nacman

Hello, I built my own skin using Bootstrap but I'm having some issues using the PHP and language tags. I want the user's name to appear in the navbar header when they log in. I placed the tag {{ $user->name }} but it only works in templates that already come default with PHPVMS 7, for example with home, dashboard, etc. When I open one of the custom pages I have a 500 error. On the other hand, language tags also don't work when I insert them into a custom page. For example: @lang('common.profile'), does not appear rendered as "Perfil" ("Profile" in Spanish) but instead appears directly as "@lang('common.profile')". Thanks …

Solved it was a Database conflict whit my home server and hosting Hy, my sincere apologies for my “bad English” I recently noticed when i want to add, for example an flight or an airplane that when i want to fill in the location it’s searching whiteout showing any results see image. yes i have a list of locations in the database and everything was working fine until now and I can’t figure out why it doesn’t work anymore. and i use the latest dev version. php version 8.1 Mysql version 4.9.7

Hi, New users are getting prevented to access our phpVMS portal until they verify their email address, however no email is sent to them. I have personally checked this by creating a fictious account with different email addresses and no email mail is getting received, not even on junk email. Please advise

Hello, i will import my leagcy db to the new v7 db. I try "php artisan phpvms:importer ...." on the command line. We have 170k pireps in the leagcy db. After 12 hours later only 68k pireps are migrated. Every 3 seconds only 1 pirep will migratied. I try to set the batchsize at 1000, 500, 50 .... but still it will migrate the data very slowly. Apologies if this has come up already. I ran a quick search and could not find any helpful answers. Say we purchased/downloaded the schedule package from a site of the likes of vaschedules.net. Allegedly, they provide the import templates for: Airports (this works) Fleet (this does not work) Schedules (this I don't know yet) So, I thought the aircraft template they used was out of fashion and downloaded the templates pack available in here. I copied all of the values in their rightful spot and tried importing once again to no joy. Same error: "CSV file doesn't seem to match import type" What am I missing? Thanks in advance

Currently using Disposable Basic Pack v3.4.x on phpVMS v7 dev (latest as of 2 July 2023). After installing smartCARS3 I began testing all the connections. I can currently connect to our databases and make use of our databases with no problems. I can equally bit on flights and file PIREPS. That said, the only area I am detecting a fault is on the website's live flight map. It does not show the active flight. I can see it on VATSIM, and on the smartCARS map, but not on the website. I checked the settings page to see if I was missing a setting with no joy. I checked the TFDi forums and noted that smartCARS3 now natively supports phpVMS7. I would appreciate any gu…

I am in need of some guidance when it comes to enabling the SSL certs on the site. I feel like I am missing a step. Currently using Disposable Basic Pack v3.4.x on phpVMS v7 dev (latest as of 2 July 2023). In phpVMS v5.x it was just a matter of changing two lines of code in the local and global config.php files from HTTP to HTTPS. Based on the instructions during the setup of v7 it stated that the env.php file has the same capabilities as the config files from v5. I don't see a related option in the file and after looking around the documentation, I could not find any relevant materials. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
