I did build a new site based on PHPVMS 7.0 And I cannot login to the admin account after the first install. I constantly says that the password is wrong. Yet I cannot reset the Password either as I was not able to confige the mail settings. Seems like a catch 22. Some help would be appreciated. RobB VLMVA.com

Alright I have done everything down to a T. I normally dont even like messing with docker but whatever. The first link where is says "Head on down to the installer" or something to that effect and it points to /install/ but the problem is the package doesnt have a install folder. I even tried making one nada.

Hi, I have phpVMS set to email me with system notices which is just fine, however my VA CEO is also getting emails for every pirep submitted as well as me. His email is only entered in his user profile. Is this because I made him an administrator also ? Is there a way to stop him being emailed. regards Doug

Hi, I wanted to check if this is a bug before I even try going to the Github page. I have found that in some places you cannot delete an entry that you have saved and now want to remove it. I have two examples. Example 1 1) Edit a User allocating a role for example Flight Editor (Created in Roles) and save. He has access to flights 2) Now go back into the same user and press the little x to delete that role and save. 3) Go back into the User again you will find the he still has flight editor and access. Note this is the only entry in that field so it is not allowing you to return it to the previous empty st…

Hi, I am trying to create a new database to later create a new module. Reading the documentation I must use "php artisan module: make-migration create_sample_table ModuleName" but when executing this instruction I get "In DatabaseServiceProvider.php line 88: Class 'Faker \ Factory' not found" This appears on to create a module or to create a database. Got everything installed. 2 problems when trying to upload a avatar it gives me an error "PHP Fileinfo extension must be installed/enabled to use Intervention Image." which I assume is installed as I am using VMS hosing. I am using php 7.3. Secondly the cron job is doing my head in, "There was a problem running the cron; make sure it's setup and check logs at storage/logs/cron.log. See the docs" Mind you there is no log there. I assume this is the correct format when creating it in cpanel: blusquar php /blusquar/phpvms/artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1

G'day I'm looking to create an award that is automatically applied to set amounts of pilot money earned for example when looking at my pilot dashboard "Your Balance" and I reach $2000 the system gives an award in the same way you can have awards provided for a number of flights. Editing a copy of the PilotHoursAward.php, it seems to me I need the code that looks at "Your Balance" value. Using latest Dev build and php8.2 also using disposable basic I am having trouble creating downloads and having the "Downloads" menu item show the files or pages. I went into pages/links in admin menu. created a downloads link entry. I had a folder I created called downloads off public_html. Inside of downloads I created another folder called vmsacars and placed ACARS.ZIP in there. That created a second menu item called "Downloads" no what I wanted, but it still did not show the files. Instead a 403 error. SO I deleted that entry in pages/links, that got rid of the second downloads menu item, but now the original one is showing …

I always have problems with cancelled pireps these are not deleted (at least not overnight) 3. the statistics are only updated once a night? I would like to update them more often, is that possible? Hello everyone My CSV Fleet file doesn't download and I do not know why, as the other ones works great. Initially I was thinking about the size of it, right now has almost 7k lines. When I press Export to CSV the sytem start working but soon after I've got a completely white browser page, only visible the url like this https://www.mysite/admin/flights/export Any tip on how can I solve this or an alternative to do it because for a 13k flights introducing one by one its a huge task, I'm using for CSV files a free program called CSV Buddy. First, sorry if this topic has been raised / been highlighted and solved before but did not find any info about it: If I´m not mistaken, earlier version read the user edited database that we create and upload, as LOCAL times for departures and arrivals. The latest version here , reads it as UTC. Is that correctly understood? Or is something else causing our flights come up with UTC after our local departure times? If yes, is it possible to tweak or select local times instead of UTC? After update at our VA, all departures and arrivals, local times, are now shown as UTC after the time stamp. Hi I am installing a new instance of phpVMS in the following configuration: Server1 = CentOS 7 w/ Apache & PHP 7.4 = PHPVMS Web Server Server2 = CentOS 7 w/ MariaDB = PHPVMS Database Server I connect to the website via a nginx reverse proxy and can access the site no problem to start the installation. I can see the pre-requisite page/module page and it shows everything green and ok. I then click to input the database configuration and when I test the db connectivity with the test button, it returns ok and connects. Hello, when people try to edit a PIREP after they have sent it, an error is coming up about a missing function. While this would be nice to work, editing PIREPs is not really necessary anyway. So I wonder if there is an option to disable it somewhere. I know there was an app.config file in V5 but I have not found something similar in V7. Any help is appreciated. Cheers

Hey guys! I wanted to pick your brains about possibly getting the pireps to display based on the pilots hubs. I'd like to have it so you can go to a hub and see the pireps its filled. I am unsure how to do this the clean way! I know I can perform the following @if ($pirep->user->home_airport->icao == 'KCLT') In doing it this way I lose any pagination features as it's just filtering through already gathered data. Hello, I have been trying to get an install using Docker to work but unsuccessfully. I go through the below directions: php composer.phar install yarn install docker-compose build docker-compose up For composer, however, I downloaded the latest version of composer 1. When I complete this process and view phpvms.test I can get all the way to the database setup.
