    APVacars

APVacars doesn't work with phpVMS v7. vmsACARS is designed for v7 and works well. SmartCARS v3 is in open beta and is supposed to work with v7. It is NOT a free upgrade from SamrtCARS v2. vmsACARS is a one time $50 fee. smartCARS 3 is a monthly $6.99 fee.
  2. Try it on PHP 8.1 instead. Also, posting you have a 500 error is really of no help to us in helping you figure out what is wrong. phpVMS Docs | Asking for help
  3. Not in versions 2.x or 5.x Not sure about version 7 The flights could be 105A, 105B, etc.
  4. You can't use the same flight number for multiple flights - even if it is the same city pairs on different days or for multiple legs to different city pairs.
  5. Their server was down earlier. Did you go directly to the simBrief website and see if it works from there? Server is back up now.
  6. @servetas hasn't visited the forum here in over a year. Maybe tagging him here will solicit a visit and response.
  7. What do you think you screwed up that you can't access the admin panel? I believe the skin is stored in the database settings table. Be sure to back up the DB before changing anything.
  8. You can change the sort order in the AwardsData.class file. Presently it is set to order by name. You can change to sort by any field name listed in the awards table. Sadly, date is not one of the options available - as that would be my choice.
  9. Are you using the latest dev build of phpVMS? Are you using the latest beta release of vmsACARS (released within the last hour)?
  10. No one is going to send you the reCaptcha keys. You need to go to Google and set up an account, then generate the two site keys. Google reCaptcha v2
  11. That MySQL version will cause issues with phpVMS 5.5.2 and 5.5.2.72 You may not notice them at first, but they will show up eventually. Ask them whether Strict Mode is on or off in MySQL. What other PHP versions do they offer?

  13. Until you have access to cPanel and fully understand how the DB works, it would be best to have your pilots register on the site. Honestly, you would be better off to cut your losses and move directly to phpVMS v7. The version of phpVMS you are using is old and no longer supported. And with newer versions of MySQL/MariaDB, you will have issues. Don't believe everything TFDI is telling you. Since you are new to phpVMS, you should be using the newest version of phpVMS - which is version 7. Ask TFDI what versions of PHP they offer with their hosting - they should have several versions available. Also ask what version of MySQL/MariaDB they use.
  14. The PHP and MySQL/MariaDB items should be in cPanel, which is your hosting panel. You need to become very familiar with cPanel and how to access your files and databases thru it. If you can't find it, ask TFDI support to help you. I'm guessing you are on PHP 5.6 as that is the last one to work with phpVMS 5.5.2 Chances are there are some incompatibilities between phpVMS 5.5.2 and versions of MySQL above 5.6.xx and MariaDB above 10.1.
  15. In the admin panel, lower right - what exact phpVMS version? 5.5.2 or 5.5.2.72? PHP version? MySQL/MariaDB version?
  16. phpVMS version? PHP version? MySQL or MariaDB version? Is this for a new VA? If so, advise you use phpVMS v7. Older versions are no longer maintained and with updates to PHP and MySQL/MariaDB the older versions have ongoing issues. As for reCaptcha - did you get the required public and secret keys from Google? Both phpVMS v2.x and 5.x are reCaptcha 2 compatible. I believe phpVMS v7 uses hCaptcha.
  17. If you are using phpVMS v7, post in the v7 forums.
  18. Start by reading thru the docs and installing on your host. It's a lot of work starting a VA. Take it one step at a time, research carefully. It's not an install it today and open your VA tomorrow type of thing, even if someone else installs phpVMS for you. If that's not something you're interested in, there are many estavlished VAs out there accepting new pilots.
  19. See the Docs link in the top menu. It's pretty easy to set up - but be sure your host supports the minimum requirements listed in the docs.
  20. Yes it is. You can get the latest dev version, released within the past week, by visiting our Discord server.

Actually, you should have a reply to your request now.

Sending a ticket thru your vmshost account is the best way. When he has time from his real life commitments, he will address it.
  23. If you were to alter this code and make it available to others, you will need to get WRITTEN permission from the original author - and include that written permission with the altered module. The other option is to come up with a totally new module - without using any of the original code.
