do we know if this works on Beta Version 2.0.869 ? I updated my site then upgraded airmail and now I get Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'Mail::inbox' was given in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/thunderva/core/classes/MainController.class.php on line 292 obviously I replaced one word in there for security note the X's I first upgraded my site to phpvms beta version mentioned above. Then I went to phpmyadmin and dropped the airmail table, uploaded the 2.1 airmail files and then ran the airmail new sql file and this is what I get. I am going to go and try again by dropping airmail tables and removing all files and start from scratch.

Very nice graphics work. Great job and very nice, clean looking website.

I have had this setup for quite some time now and it is working. However, is it necessary to have a schedule BOTH ways for this to calculate accordingly? When I log a Free Flight on my site I only have a 1 way flight. There is no return schedule. So what my issue is, is sometimes when I do a flight it gives pilot pay and charges for fuel accordingly. Sometimes when others try it out, the flight is filed accordingly but the pilot is not paid and fuel is not charged for. I am leaning more towards pilot error when using acars and Xacars. I have not had anyone every log a flight with FSPax on my site. I have tried it 2 times with FSFK and it works like it is supposed to. I am kind of in the air ( no pun intended ) on this one as far as financials go. To me they should not be paid for a free flight and the airline should not be charged fuel for a flight that is not scheduled to begin with but I hate to get rid of these kinds of flights because they want to do airline flights but yet not always wish to do a schedule. I have been struggling with this issue for a while now and am just curious how others handle it and are your financials working accordingly? Thanks for reading this today. Ray

yeah that would be kind of cool like Flightline or FSEconomy websites. And an on off feature in the config file would be cool too just in case. Great Idea

+1 on the VA central. We could never forget about that one either ;-)

the most important thing and most common error with it not showing a pilot on the map is registration number and flight number. Other then that, it should work. Are you getting any error messages at all from ACARS/XACARS ?
-
Ah ok I was not aware that them sites had VA links. I rarely to never use addons so very rarely visit any of those sites. I'll have to go and have a peak at them
-
I was wondering, where do you find the best place to recruit pilots from? Back in the day we used MSN Zone. For every 20 pilots that registered, 1 would fly regularly. Now days since the demise of eSkyWorld and MSN Zone, it seems the only good place left it the big VAT. I am to the point now of getting ready to start to recruit and was just curious. I have 7 of us now, but all we have been doing is mainly testing. Any and all pointers are appreciated. Ray

I wanted to confirm or deny this error and so I tried it on my test site. It did work as planned, I just put it in the wrong place I guess and jacked up the layout some. But all in all, it worked out fine on my end.

Version 2.0.864 I think there is way more to bringing this template up to current date then I thought. I'm having many many issues now. My current skin I roughed together and now it is way out of date too and I am in one hell of a predicament. I thought I would give this one a try since the base of it was already there. I was WAY wrong. I am more of an integrating forum mods person then anything. I have learned that skinning and graphics is not my thing since I started using phpVMS And I just realized that I am now cureently 2 builds behind on my dev site where I am trying my hand at this skin. For a peak, look at http://mweva.com/test

Hey all, I was messing with this skin from FSPaintshop and it is old. Like early 2009 old. I was simply enough trying to update it to work with our new version we are on now being the latest beta 864. I have most of the small issues worked out, however, now I ran into a error and am not sure what it amounts to. When trying to upload a avatar, I get the following Warning: imagesy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/test/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 361 Warning: imagesx(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/test/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 362 Warning: Division by zero in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/test/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 365 Warning: imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/test/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 367 Warning: imagecopyresized(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/test/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 368 Warning: imagepng(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/test/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 372 Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/test/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 373 Profile saved! I changed the ftp user to all X's as you can tell just for this post. I went through my ftp and checked avatars folder and it is chmod 777 and it STILL gives me this error. Is this a skin error or what? Basically, none of the core files are changed at all. All I am doing is messing with the skin. For the profile_main.tpl file, I copied it right out of the core/templates folder from the beta version available on this website. THis is the most major one so far. Most of the others, I am able to work through pretty good. Thanks for your time and looking at my post tonight Ray

Write to the authors and ask them. Afterall, you are giving away your script for free to everyone and anyone. Now if it was commercial, I could see their gripe. And I suck at graphics otherwise I'd lend a hand. :-[

I'm on shared hosting. I can give it a try as well. We just dump this into our current database?
-
well fellers, I think I got it now. http://thunderva.mweva.com//index.php/pireps/view/74

Oh I forgot to ask if we need to set the permissions on the folder in lib that we created to anything special like 777 or anything like that. Right now mine is at 755
-
WOO HOO! I'm on my live map finally. Now to do the flight and see if I can file and all works accordingly after that. Thanks for the screenies guys! Ray

here is my local config can verify I did it correct please? /* FSFK Settings Your FTP Server, and path to the lib/images folder (from where the FTP connects from), IE ftp://phpvms.net/phpvms/lib/fsfk or ftp://phpvms.net/public_html/phpvms/lib/fsfk You want the path from when you connect to the FTP down to where the /lib/fsfk folder is */ Config::Set('FSFK_FTP_SERVER', 'ftp://mweva.com/www/thunderva/lib/fsfk'); Config::Set('FSFK_FTP_PORT', '21'); Config::Set('FSFK_FTP_USER', 'xxxxxxxx'); Config::Set('FSFK_FTP_PASS', 'xxxxxxxxx'); Config::Set('FSFK_FTP_PASSIVE_MODE', 'TRUE'); Config::Set('FSFK_IMAGE_PATH', '/lib/fsfk'); // web path from SITE_ROOT Obviously I changed my username and password for this post.

I am going to setup mine exactly how you showed in the other one right now Nabeel. And Ok on the live acars server thing. I thought the guage was a must do to make it all work like it should. Now that I know that, I'll go setup everything as posted in the screen shots. If that don't work, then I know I have an FTP issue I suppose.
-
So that is my live acars server problem then? I need to install the guage to get it to work and connect with my website? As far as the config file and all goes, I am quite sure I have it set up correct and the template text file is in my documents fsfk folder as it should be. My apologies for sounding like a complete moron. I am known around the Flight sim world as default master. I use NOTHING addon what so ever normally.
-
That would be cool. Thumbnails though. Some full size screen shots would basically destroy the layout pf pages.
-
Yes this is easily done. If you know some html, you have it made in the shade! However, since that file is in the core/templates folder, any edits done to it will be over written in website updates that you do in the future. Ans easy way to avoid this is to go to http://www.phpvms.net/tutorials/skinning_tutorial and follow along closely. In this tutorial they will teach you how to copy your skin to another folder to avoid upgrade over writes. And any files you wish to edit that are in the core/templates folder, you simply copy them to the new skin folder that you will create. Problem solved. ;D Have a look at that link and let us know how it goes. Happy coding!

Well, I am back from Chicago land and am going to give this another go tonight and see how it works out. I am about 5 days behind everyone else now so it is going to take me the rest of the night to catch up.
