Wondering if anybody knows how to connect a MYSQL db to VisualBasic? I reseached that you need to download and import a file from mysql.com and I did that but it isnt working... Does anybody know??

Hi, I use phpvms in my computer as a local server. If incase I want to move it to a different computer how would I back it up? I know the permissions should be reset again as they don't transffer as set to write and read. Anybody who tried this? Thanks, ermias

I am in the process of completing my new virtual airline, with the backbone of it being phpVMS. I have created a website, forum, media gallery, voice server, fleet and schedules well enough to be up and running. I will be adding to the fleet and schedules as time allows. My plans also include additional website features too Anyways, I am on the lookout for anyone who wants to get involved in my airline in a management capacity. I would prefer finding people who have previous VA management experience, and whoever joins my team will get a real say in how the airline is run. Sorry for posting here, but am using one of your skins from your work shop and have a quick question about it. Am using it to learn the skinning system and tweaking a bit here and there. I fixed the ACARS map. It would not show at all. Only a gray back ground. Now I have this simple ( to some one ), but elusive to me issue. Check out my pilots page if you have a second. http://paranormalinsights.com/phpVMS/index.php/pilots Notice I have 2 hubs. KMCI and KSUS Look what happens when it shows the 2 hubs pilots. I compared the code to Crystal and it is the same and it does not do that in Crystal. I'm a bit cornfused ;D

Happy New Year!!! I had no idea it had been so long since we last corresponded. If you are still interested in lending a hand and I sure hope that you are then I am almost ready to go. I have finished about 90% of the flight schedule. I have to wrap up just a couple of routes, create crew and equipment layover schedules and I will be done. I am thinking mid January tops before all is done. If you wish I will be happy to send you the 90% so you can see what id done. Hey there, I'm trying to get a 717-200 repaint going for FS9/FSX so we can start phasing out MD-83s in service at TexAir, but I've lost touch with the painter whom used to help us as he was quite busy. It needs to be a freeware model, either the JCA or HJG model will work as long as the necessary permissions are granted (I can seek these myself or the painter can do it, just let me know). I have two ideas in mind for the 717 - the first of which is to have the exact same paint scheme that our MDs have (mostly bare metal with some small designs), and the second is a new idea pitched by our COO of a white scheme with a Texas flag overlay on the fuselage. I am no longer doing phpvms skins for other va's, there are just too many things to be doing right now, but do not want people hitting my site to not have any options. Hi guys, I just wanted to get some opinions on what would be the best work flow for website creating with php & mysql. It seems like my current way of doing things is very inefficient, I currently use dreamweaver and usually just copy and paste to my Cpanel for some reason I don't like the FTP stuff with dreamweaver. I also watch one of the tutorials looks like .net was being used in it? I think I am looking for the best way to edit locally and upload everything after I am done. I have used WAMP in the past, but it didn't last long. Any ideas? Thanks, Chad C.

Hello VA Admins, Now sicne everything is coming to .co.cc and it's free. But you should not get co.cc for your VA. people might take your domain name over like for .com, .net and you'll never get it and someone will own it! It's good to have your own .com becasue so it's your own brandings ETC.. logos, everything. Now i have alittle story. I used to own two VA's that is under .co.cc and i wasted my hours to put into this VAs and no one every came and join my VA. Then when people comes to your VAs under .co.cc and they think they would not want to join becasue you don't have a .com, .org. or .net and you got the .co.cc for free! Hey, I was wondering if I change the FsPax cfg or the FACARS cfg can i send the pirep information to multiple databases at once ? Or is is possible to have one database on a server that can be accessed by websites on other servers ? I ask because i have two websites, on two different servers and would like to show information about pireps flown from my airline on my other website. since i am a css and php virgin I thought that i would ask here first. thanks
