G'day Guys, I've been fiddling with the navdata, going through all my routes, and updating the navdata to display the routes correctly, and working hard to make it all look a lot nicer. I've noticed that the waypoints along the airways are within the navdata, but for some reason they wont show, it will only show the navaids for the start and finish of the airway, is there anything in particular that needs to be changed for this to display correctly. Also if anyone can explain these fields within the navdata database that would be great. The airway type show H and L, im presuming High and Low airways, but I've also seen B and am unsure what that is. And also the type c…

Hello, Our Airline, merlion flies mainly in FlightGear Free and Open Source Flight Simulator (even though we've also started services in FSX) and I was thinking of an Auto Pirep system that reads from XMLS. Here's what I have in mind and it'd be great if you can help me build this. Alright, now I've made a nasal-cum-xml add-on for FlightGear that creates an xml file containing the pilot's website login email, password, flight time, departure, arrival, aircraft, flight number, route filed and fuel used. This is probably one for Dave (Simpilot) After trying to use rank restricted aircraft in my VA which turned out to be highly contraversial and unpopular, i thought maybe there was another way of restricting an aircraft until n exam had been completed. So that the pilot needs at least some understanding of the aircraft before being able to pilot it. I'm thinking of before enabling an aircraft for each pilot after an examination award has been approved and awarded. i'm looking for a code which would query a pilots awards prior to approving a flight schedule using a particular aircraft. any pointers or am i barking up the wrong tree? Hey, I have been messing about for a while and cant get it to work, brain has totally fried now. I've looked through SchedulesData, but no luck in finding anything that gives you the duration of a route. It can probably be done through subtracting the departure time from the arrival time, but then if it goes over midnight the code gets a lot more complicated and I was wondering if there is an API function for this already. So route duration in either minutes or hours?

Hi All, I've searched quite a few threads but can't see any that match this exact issue. Basically any email sent from the site (ie. group emails through the admin panel or automated emails like the registration emails) are not being received by anyone. We are, however, receiving notification emails to the nominated site address (i.e when a PIREP has been filed or someone has registered). The email address matches our hosting account email. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Guys, i tried searching on this but haven't found anything relevant, I have seen on the database theres a table for holding navigation waypoints, Can any one advise me on how this works, what they effect, and what info each field should hold. so i was trying to figure out why fuel prices were so low (like around $1.21) and when i submit the pirep, it comes back as being almost $15,000 in the hole! Found that the PIREP wants fuel to be inputted as KG. I checked the config and it is set to show in lbs but it still doesnt. Kind of annoying having to convert lbs to kg and may be confusing to some pilots in the airline. Is there a way to change it to lbs rather than kg?

Hi, I need some help with the finances of my VA. We are a Military VA, however have decided to try and use the finances options for the Squadrons (Airlines) that do roles involving Heavy Lift or Transport, the combat oriented Sqns simply wont earn any revenue.. only spend it! I have setup the Ranks pay levels based on Annual Salarys at the given Rank within the service, plus an extra hourly rate for Flying Pay. My main question is about Schedules pricing for PAX and Cargo... I really dont know where to start? One of my Pilots did a 20 Minute flight (Cargo) and earned £250,000!!! so i dont tihnk we have the right pricing setup yet. I would be interested to know what …

Hi Guys, Can't seem to find anything about this error posted so far, I have installed the system onto a windows server (IIS7), it installs fine and fires up the home screen. From this point though I cant navigate to any other page, the URL changes but the Homepage remains, and it wont let me login? It just takes my username and password and then remains on the homepage. I have checked my permissions and even opened them right up, still get the same response. Its almost as if the URL rewrite isnt working, but I dont think its required is it?
