Hi there, Is it possible to have callsigns (or nicknames) added to the Pilot info? At the moment it only shows for example Johnny English, But I want the user to add their Nicknames as well, like Johnny "Danger" English. My site is www.uvsaaf.fsworld.co.za Thanks Jakes

Where at can I find the controls for avatar size? I think 80x80 is ok but is a bit restrictive. I was wanting to up the anty a little bit. And then I will get in the tpl file and warn pilots before they upload that it can only be what ever size I choose as max settings. Thanks in advance either way. Ray

I am working on getting staff members for my VA but I would really like to restrict the abilities they have in the admin panel of phpvms to just posting news and approving pireps. So i would like to keep them from being able to see the maintenance section, routes and etc. Is there any way to do this? Thanks. www.flyiva.org

HI guys, I have looked in the forums and I could not see it, but do the pilots have to bid for flights or can I let them fly what ever routes we have in the shedules list? Our pilots like to fly any aircraft on any route, but the way vms is set up you cannot is there anyway I can change that or is that it. Apart from cheers guys for some great sof tware.

Hello, I was making a page on my site for pilots which has discount codes for them to use on flight sim websites, but i wanted them to only be able to access the page when they have completed a certain number of flying hours (so people wont just join to ge tthe discount then never being seen flying with the va again) So I was wondering if there was a code for this? Ok, I would like to ask a few questions... Schedules: I had saw something about hiding them when they are not scheduled to fly. Because I want all Schedules available but I want to show what days they fly in real world.So e.g. Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri Thats Route does not fly on Wednesday (Today) but I want that schedule to still appear there. Also... Calling last 5 Flights: I need some help calling the last 5 flights that were completed by the pilot. I want to show this in the Pilot Center. Thank You, Daniel

Good day, First I want to thank you for this great software! It is really cool! My Question: is there a way to make a page that show the aircraft currently in your fleet? I am using this great software to run UVSAAF, and, being a Virtual Air force, It would be great to have a page that can display the Aircraft in use, and maybe the Airlines (Squadrons, in this case) they serve with? Hi, i am having a problem after moving servers, when a user registeres after filling in the form he gets just a blank page, so i thought it was something to do with the additions i have done. I downloaded a fresh copy of vms to check and exactly the same thing happens there, also after the install the page does not fully load and the main admin account is not accessible, as this is happening on a new server i dont thing its vms but a setting or a lack of one that i have forgot to setup. No error messages are being sent to the page or to the logs. One thing that should be noted is that the registration completes ok ie data is put in to the database its just not returnin…

ok, I would like to be able to use KAcars tracking logs to import pireps into my site. The idea is that a pilot could do a flight on one airline (using Kacars), and then I could call the log file (which I think i have figures out) and use that log to import the pirep into a second airline that I have. I am wondering if this is even a possibility ? I'm not looking for the code (i am working on that) I guess what I am wondering is how it works (Kacars) so that I can figure out if its possible.

Do to the spam attack on the phpvms apply form a bunch of my pilot id's got used, so when pilots join i change their pilot id. Only issue is the system removes them from the new pilot section. I know why it does this but can we fix it?

Hi all, Not sure if this question has been asked before if it has then I apologise, but is it possible to intergrate phpbb3 into phpvms? I have tried to install the VAforum but keep getting an error when i try to create a a new catergory. So i have opted to try this method instead. I have uploaded phpbb3 to my server and used the phpvms sql table for the install and it has not intergated the users from phpvms into phpbb3. hope that all makes sense. Thanks in advance. Scott

Hi Folks, Just wondering if I am missing something here...I have four aircraft in my fleet that are stuck at 838 hours and have been for a few weeks now. They have been flown, pireps received and approved but the hour count remains the same. We are running Version 2.1.934. Curious, does this mean that we will not have to do any hourly scheduled maintenance on those aircraft? Chuck CYXU

When adding schedules we don't have the choice of choosing a different ICAO code... As in real airlines the Pilots code would be (e.g. RYR001) the schedule would be (FR1 or FR200) is it possible to do that? Thanks

Hello ! As I m making my own ACARS application I have come across to a strange problem. According to the RegistrationData.class.php file the password is md5 encrypted. when looking inside the db I saw this string: 4979ee3f58f9e6dbe3736952470153e6 which is 1234 converted from PHPVMS but the actual Md5 hash for the 1234 is: 81dc9bdb52d04dc20036dbd8313ed055 Can someone tell me what really happen here ? I can login with 1234 from inside the PHPVMS but my acars returns me an Invalid Log In Details error. Note1: ACARS written in VB.NET VS2010 Note2: MD5 Encryption working in my VB.NET

Ok, I was testing my phpVMS and I was rejecting a flight, and I was given out the pay, is that supposed to be off becasue when I reject a flight, it's giving my pilots the pay (I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!) Is there anyway to fix that.

Hi all, Here comes a question which i am sure has already been asked and has probably been filed under the "stupid questions" section. But here goes, I am in the process of creating my VA and I am now at the point where I am going to create my schedules, now is there an easy way of doing this opposed to sitting there entering each and every route through the admin panel? All I am looking for is a file or something which i can just add to my VA with some stock routes to start with which I can add to at a later stage or as they are requested. Or an easier way to input all the infomation required. Thanks in advance Scott
