Hi I'm trying to install phpVMS on a local Wamp server. When I try and run install.php I get two errors. ! Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: Permission denied in Unknown on line 0 ! Good Evening to you all, When I or a user attempts to take a schedule using the "Add to bid" link on the schedules page, we experience an error. Rather than notifing me of what has happened, it responds with this error: Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class 'Schedules' does not have a method 'viewaction.php' in /home/xyzhost/public_html/core/classes/MainController.class.php on line 218 We're currently using the latest version of the phpVMS_5.5.X from Simpilotgroup. Any ideas?

Hi All, I have been through all the posts I can find in relation to receiving a 'No route passed' error when trying to add a bid through the Scheduling search form. I do use a bootstrap template and I have tried the noconflict query and I have also tried removing the jquery reference from the template (which renders part of the template non functional) but the same problem occurs. I am hoping someone out there can help me again with another issue. I am using my own skin and have my own Search form and results page and the form works fine but the resulting search doesn't have any formatting, it almost seems as though it isn't adhering to the same rules for the layout file? Is this true, or should the search results conform to the page content like any other template file? Perhaps I need to add the relevant style links directly in the search result file (schedule_results.tpl/php)? Thanks, Graham

Here is a weird issue I am having, and it started out of the blue. I got a new pilot today. When he flies, my ACARS Map goes blank. He is using smartCARS, as are most of us, and yet none of us have this issue. I can have every pilot in the VA fly and everything is fine, once this one pilot connects, the whole map goes blank. There have been no code changes on my front page for over a week. I had him uninstall and reinstall smartcars, and we are still having the problem. Any ideas??????

Hello, This is my first topic, hope to get good help from our coders.. Me and my friend are making a Virtual airline which consists of 7-8 airlines, since we all know that there is no tab for "By Airline type" on the schedules page like "By Aircraft type", "By departure airport", etc. So can anyone help us in making that tab on schedules page please!!

there is the possibility of placing restrictions also for aerodromes? The system we use actually compares the ranking of the pilot to the ranking of the aircraft when generating the schedule. This allow us to limit pilots with lower rankings to fly only one type of aircraft and a few aircrafts have a higher ranking to be used only on international flights. But we are trying now to edit the system, so it can compare the pilot ranking + aircraft ranking + airport ranking. This will allow us to have much more options when defining the rankings, limiting airports with dangerous operations such as SBRJ only to pilots with higher rankings. Issue is with flight status changing with out engines running. When sitting at the gate it initially shows "at gate" then changes within seconds to "enroute" also indicates aircraft is moving, when it is not and engines are off. I have tested this with another airline and the "XAcars" functions correctly, and status does not change until moving from gate - then taxi to runway, etc. Have searched forums and found nothing.

It is very strange, I installed everything right on PHPVMS install.php and now I fill everything out and come to this, screenshot is attached. Hi, I'm having issues with the site main logo and the pilot rank images. I changed the logo file name to "topbanner" like it says in the manual and it is in the lib/skins/crystal/images folder, but it is not appearing in place of the phpVMS logo. There is only a white space. Also, when I put in the link to the rank image file, the image does not appear. There is only a little icon that shows that the picture is not loading correctly. Any help would be appreciated . -Colton

Hi all, 1) Is there a way to set up routes so that only pilots above a given rank can fly them (like with aircrafts). Eg. Flying into the alps (hazardous landings) you need to be above x rank. 2) Is there a way to set up routes so that only pilots in a given group can fly them. Eg. Splitting pilots into different airline groups or team challenges or as above. I await your reply.

Hello, I currently just add Passenger Routes to the Airline I work for (Virtual Aviation Group) Would Someone kindly tell me how to set up a Cargo Route and what I need to enter for Cargo amounts/Prices? So, I've hit on an unusual issue that has occurred as a result of having to rebuild my VA. My hosts 123REG, made a major stuff up and deleted a load of servers including ours. We've rebuilt it from a backup image but we've got a few odd things going on now. First and most important is that our pireps are now not recording anything in the "log" field of the pireps table in the database. I wondered if it could be to do with Smartcars but that is recording the details just fine and I've checked their scripts and they are all good and as they should be. Hi, I've just recently reinstalled phpVMS on my site. The reinstallation was smooth, but I am unable to do anything with phpVMS as following any of the links on the navbar, or using the login form, just brings me a 404 error (like so, http://vkenya.or.ke/index.php/login). Hey guys i recently had some malicious users causing trouble by using the forgot password function on the phpVms system and running various email addresses through the function. Basically i have disabled this function from all apart from admins as anyone that knows your email address can use the system to reset your password potentially locking you out if you miss the email, not only that if they gain access to your email then they have your whole site. The current way that the system used is too insecure which is why i have disabled it, does anyone have a better way thats been thought of and implemented?
