GREAT JOB on the latest version BTW. I am just wondering, I exported, changed, and them imported my scedules. It would seem that the update works, however none of the fees have changed. Does the import not include the cost of the flight updates ? Thanks again !

Hi, I needed to update some of our schedules so I exported the schedules from the admin panel and opened them with Excel 2007. After I made some changes I saved the file as file type CSV. When I imported the schedules back into the admin panel it stated "the import process is complete". The schedules all appear in the admin panel and I can also see all the schedules in my database in my cpanel/phpmyadmin. But my issue now is that no flight schedules appear on our flight schedules page - https://www.scootvirtual.net/index.php/schedules From checking other topics about the same/similar issue I changed the skin back to the crystal skin…

Hello, I have imported a schedule that has 10900 flight legs/segments, I have figured out that it imports all 10900 of them but it doesn't show all of them on the view schedule tab of the admin side and doesnt display all of them on smartcars. I am wonder if there is a maxium number of routes that the system can handle, and to get that number would be great if there is. if there isnt what would be the work around? example: i have 4 routes (flt #105 KLGA-KSTL days of the week (12345)) (flt #105 KLGA-KSTL days of the week (0 and or 7)) (Flt#105 KSTL-KMDW days of the week (12345)) (FLT#105 KPIT-KMDW days of the week ( 6)) …

Hi folks A quick search didn't bring up anything, so I have a question that I hope someone can shed some light on. When I use the Admin import schedule option I lose a day for every upload. For example a daily schedule will lose first Saturday (day 6) and on a subsequent upload will lose Friday (day 5), and so on. The csv file has the correct setting for flights, for example a daily flight has 0123456 in the days field, and this doesn't happen to flights that operate on restricted days, for example outbound on 135, return on 0246. I have just exported my schedules to update them and when i go to import them its giving me a permissions error, strange thing is nothing has changed and it worked OK the last time i done it. Has anyone modified the way Airports are selected. Instead of having to scroll down thru a long list, entry by using the IACO code. Similar to what FlightAware has. For example only entering KLAX or EDDFF. There are over 2500 Airports worldwide that have commercial traffic. It is a real pain having to scroll down thru a list.

Not sure if anyone has noticed this or having the same issue. My charters change every day so that means I am activating and deactivating them everyday. Well, when I go to edit a schedule the system swithces the aircraft on me for some reason, in particular the Beriev I am using. It seems to only switch this one for some reason, I have two and it defaults to the 243 reg number.....I am really having to keep an eye now when editing cause of this.

I am running 744. Some of my charters are still not showing up. I have tried deactivating and reactivating, didn't work. And I checked the day of the week also. This is really messing up my operation as many of my charters are tied together. Would some of you other VA's have a look and see if your schedules are doing this?

I currently have my schedule results to show flights from the pilots last location. The issue is when a new pilot joins they do not have a last location so are unable to see any flights on the schedule. I just make a fake PIREP to have a last location and they are able to see the schedule. Is there a better way to do this? Thank you for your help.

Hi there, I am running into a brick wall with some of the issues over schedules, and as a result, I have a few questions. 1. I disabled some of my schedules, but they still appear for some reason in the search results, any ideas? 2. Has anyone got any code or suggestions on how to do a thing where, once a user books a flight, it will ask him for a day to fly it on? With that, it will reject the booking if the flight isn't operating on that... date, and accept if it is. 3. What is the format for entering flight time into a .csv file? Is it HH:MM as in the admin panel? Cheers.

I just want to create a separate schedule module, that lists my whole schedule, from the database. I just want to create a table from the database with specific columns. I am having a heck of a time getting this to work. On my original site before phpvms, it was just a table with the data filled in from the sql database. It was simple but I would like to have it as an additional item in addition to the schedule bid search. It would be like posting the full schedule .csv file, but in a table on the site.

hello again, i have a problem with my phpvms schedule list: It dont show anything!! If i want to search a flight e.g. departure EDDF and i click on search, it only display the 2 topics: Flight Info and Options. And if i select all it shows No routes have been found! .... Can somebody help me? :-

Hi , I have added a schedule , but for some reason it doesn't show it , I have browsed the forum about it and changed the schedule result tpl file so that it reads "7" and "0" for Sunday but still no luck , it shows 20 schedules but not the ones I added today for Some reason , it might be a bug for Sunday ?? Even tho there are schedules can be flown on a Sunday and they show ? So confusing lol

Hey all, so I'm working on lots of schedules for my VA, and there are a few airlines, Polar Air Cargo for example, that fly both their own routes and routes for DHL. I'd ideally want to inform the pilots through smartCARS that that flight is operated by Polar for DHL by adding in "opb Polar Air Cargo for DHL", but if I drop that into the notes column, it only shows up on the website, which most of our pilots don't use. I could add it into the Route column, but that's only gonna get deleted if someone drops a route in. Is there a way to push the Notes column into the comments field, or at least have it notify the pilot in smartCARS?

New install, probably should have done this earlier lol, but just decided to start adding schedules and this is what i get.. Version 1.2.628 on a brand new database (no updates, no beta) Apache 2.2, PHP5.2, MySql 5.0 Any ideas? (Scroll across to the top right and you'll see what i mean) The flights don't show up anywhere and were manually added (not imported). Aircraft and airports are in correctly with no problems. Tried to import a schedule with the template and I got the same result .. You can also see that my icons on the left don't show up (but this I'm not concerned with)

When i import my routes on phpvms i see the complete routes (for ex: "SFXÂ UA411Â ELJEMÂ UG727Â MONÂ UA411Â TUCÂ UM733Â PIRIX") but in the schedules page i see only "SFX" and I have this problem only with some routes... OK, so I just got my site opened, but pilots are saying that there is a lot wrong with the schedules. First of all, I'm getting the No Route Passed error that I can't find the answer to on here. Secondly, when I click View Details on the schedule, the white background doesn't seem to cover the whole page. I tried using clear:both but couldn't remember where to put it. That's all I can remember at the moment.

Hi there, I am currently running phpVMS with six routes/schedules added that are all enabled, but only three show up in the schedule results, when I specify the search criteria as "All" on the fields. The bizarre thing, is that I created an echo to tell me how much schedules there actually are being displayed with the specified search criteria, and it returns the magic number of 6. Any ideas?

Hey Nabeel, when I do a search of my L-100 it only comes up with one route, when there are clearly 14 for the aircraft. Has something changed in that template that would cause that? i did update to the new template.

Just a question for you php wizards. I am trying to find a way to not show all the available flight schedules upon first clicking View Schedules. It's the page that you see when you choose either "By Departure Airport", "By Arrival Airport", "By Aircraft Type" or "By Distance". I just want the Search area to show and not the flights under it until the member actually submits his/her flight search. Is there a way around this? If not, I'll just have to just have it show the Random Flight Search instead (thanks to Lorathon for this one).

Hello, I am having a bit of trouble with the Schedule search module by David J Clarke. I Have routes enabled on my site, but when i search for them, it simply says "no routes found". I tried with the default route finder, and they showed up, it's just this search module. I really need this module for my site, so i would really appriciate if you can reply soon! Many Thanks, Joe
