hi everybody I have a question. I have installed FSACARS and the ini file that you have on phpvms for the virtual airline. So i start FS2004 put my plane ion the airport,open fsacars choose my companie.I fill the dep arr airport FL etc. I start FSacars everything ok. After my flight i will send the Log,but i cant.It opens me the start page of phpvms of the VA and its written You are not a registered member. Does someone have an answer about that? Hope that you understand what i mean cause i am from Europe lol

hello, I have a problem with my pireps, There is no information available from touchdown. He stands all the time to 0 when someone has landed. Have anybody the solution? Hi there. Even though fsacars is no longer supported by phpvms I would like to ask all here if they have a fix for the known error of fsacars "Database Error" ? The reason for us wanting to use fsacars is because; 1. few of Our members are more familiar with fsacars. 2. we are planning an event for our members to fly any where they want (in simple words manual flight plans , manual flights) basically the event would be our members can fly where ever they want on what ever fleet they want either its in our fleet or not. Hi everybody. I tried my first testflight today with fsacars. I start fsacars,i make the flight evrything goes good,the flight is shown on the livemap etc. After landing,when i will send the Pirep it shows my an error message. Databaseerror. Must i putin my database somewhere on an phptext? If yes where can i do that? Regards Damien

i have been looking into using the FSACARS system but i am sin a loose end as i have tried several times to get it wrking on to my airline but i have no idea how to install and the files and to what folders,,, the creatdb.sql will not install as i dont no where to install correctly please could some make it easy and point me in the guided path

Hi Guys, I need some help When I run FSacars several things seem wrong. Firstly, the Flight from VA will not coonect to our site. Message is cant communicate with VA. 2nd. I use Fsacars (ini file from site). It shows me on the live map and moniotrs progress OK. If you click on the pilot ID and the maker on google map shows, when you click on the detail in the google marker it goes to an html page that says this Pilot does not exist. Finally, when I finfish the flight and send the log etc I get error : databae error, not sent. Of course it does not file the pirep. If anyone knows where I am goinhg wrong please let me know Thanks in advance John

Hi all.. i have a problem with fsacars.. i want send LOG, and show me Browser and in is: "This pilot does not exist!" . And i dont know why is this show o_O. A click on OK and i have error: "Error Sending Log, Data Base Error". sendlogreport.html is EMPTY. I have Linux with Debian .. please help me

ok... I've searched and searched and found some info, but nothing helpful. I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction..... Here's my issue. FSPax, although it says it has sent the pirep info, it doesn't show up on the website. FSACARS does....but.... When I hit send log, I get the error ( that I ignore ), and it sends the info fine.... HOWEVER after the next flight, its sends the first one again....and again...and again.... It doesn't seem to know that it has sent. I can only seem to send the first flight over and over again. I found out something this week about FSAcars and the way it works (or doesn't) with PHPVMS v.2. If your registration number is too long, FSAcars will truncate it, and when you go to send the pirep, the registration won't match with the one in the database. As a result, it will enter a 0 as the aircraft id into the phpvms_pirep table. Since there are no aircraft with a 0 for an id, the system will nut up and that pirep will need to be edited to show the proper aircraft before it can be approved. Just something to keep in mind if you get that error. kACARS seems to work fine.

Hi, When I finish a fly I close FSACARS but when I go to Live Map Page I see this: Pilot Flight Number Departure Arrival Status Altitude Speed Distance/Time Remain HTH1001 - Carlos HTH132 LEMG GEML FSACARS Closed 29 0 373 nm / I wait 5 hours but the messege not change. Any Ideas???

Hi guys probably a really simple one, but I've just tested FSacars, and it's been perfect up until sending the log, when I get a database error. Is this a permissions problem somewhere, or is there more to it? This is on version 700. I've also made sure fsacars_debug is true, but I'm not getting a log file in the ACARS directory, even when the internet guest user has full rights. Thanks

Hi guys, happy new year! On last year, I can do 2 flights in my VA and send normaly. But in this week, any pilots are reporting that are occurring error during send log... The error is data type conversion error. I restore my FSACARS.php but until now dont solved this. One main detail is when I confirm which my aircraft is on Departure Airport I get the triangle in Date Time on FSACARS DATA. And my log started like this... 65535/65535/65535 05:39:00] Flight IATA:RCT8551

G'day, Since the update version of PHPVMS in FSacars the "flight from VA" button works but when I Stop Log and then except the flight I get a conversion error. Then when I look at the log I have a zero hour flight. The flight uploads to the VA ok but with zero hours. I have tried using FSacars to record the flight entering all the flight/plane data manually and everything works fine so there seems to be a problem still with getting flight from VA. I have tried reinstalling FSacars and I have used the latest .ini but still have the same problem.

Hi nabeel, Long time, no see ! I noticed the other day a bug wich I don't see any reporting it here... When FSACARS sends 01h23min, the systems understands it as 1.23 which is not really the way it is supposed to be calculated ! (more like 1.45) Is the latest build doing that again ?

I was looking at my finances and the fuel figure was way up there, further inspection i realised that the fuel figure from FSACARS was being send in lbs, have i missed a setting somewhere because my site is configured for KG.

Hi everyone, I did'nt found any explanation about it on the net so I had to dig my way out of the problem, as kacars is not working cause of the switch issue, probably cause of my free hoster, but we need to begin somewhere so there it is! 1. Open the .ini file issued by the crew center of phpvms. With wordpad like. 2. Find the 4th line below [FSacars]. Suppose to be this one: UnitSystem=IS 3. Change whatever you have after ''='' by ''IS'', which mean International System, or Kg instead of Pounds. 4. Save. Ill give it a try on my next flight this afternoon and share my next pirep to see if everything is perfect. cya, Bernard

Hello, I am able to open up FSACARAS. Whenever I click flight from va it says '' FS crash. Do you want to resume log? '' I click yes and it keeps appearing. Any ideas why? I have tried Re Installing FSACARS, Yet I keep getting the same error. Best Regards, Joseph Trevelline

May have a fix, Open /core/templates/fsacars_config.tpl There's the line: CompanyICAO=<?php echo $userinfo->code?> Make it: CompanyICAO= Just blank. I can't duplicate this error, but let's see if that works as a fix. Report back please! Thanks

Hi All, I'm hoping someone might be able to help. I've checked the forums and can't find anything relevant, hence my post. The VA I fly for has just set up on phpvms and we're using FSAcars to record flights and we're having a nightmare with it. Each pirep we look at after a flight shows no revenue, no gross income and often no pax. Then sometimes it does. We've interigated our fleet, airports, routes and we've fixed fuel prices at the airports to see if that makes a difference but no joy. I'm now struggling to try and understand what could be going wrong. Has anyone else encountered problems with the tracker submitting the data to phpvms and getting no results? If so…
