Fellow Virtual Pilots, The Hawaii Air National Guard (Virtual); 154th Wing is being formed for those pilots that are serious about flying military aircraft but without the constrants of Virtual Special Operations Groups (VSOAs). The 154th is a diverse unit that flies fighters, tankers, and transports. That being said the current stand up for this "VA" is the C-17A, KC-135R, C-40C(737), and the C-37 (Gulfstream V). This hub will be Headquarters for heavy aircraft that are unable to operate at Bristol(EGGD) such as the new Boeing 767 which will begin operation Today (1st September). September 10th marked Alaska Adventures 5th year anniversary. We still have some of our original pilots that joined back in 2007. Alaska Adventures has filed over 9,700 PIREPS with over 14,000 flight hours. Alaska Adventures started with FSACARS and merged to phpVMS in late 2009. I have recently noticed through reviewing posts that it seems many issues have risen. It is sad to see the forums (virtual airline discussion in particular) turn into a mud pit of hatred. I feel like many comments are just driven because someone has an axe to grind.
