Hello there, We have a system where pilots can submit schedules that they wish to add to our databases. They are then validated and added by one of the admins. Given that I know the pilot's ID is there a built in function/class that will allow me to send the pilot an email with i.e. "Hi there, your schedule request was accepted and added" Of course, there is the long way of sending an email with PHP, but phpvms has so many built in features, I am wondering if a mailing feature is also present. Just thinking out loud here - With the announcement that SimPIlot is closing down his site and http://www.simpilotgroup.com/ ...................... What becomes of VA Central, version 3 of phpVMS and this support forum? It was my understanding that SimPilot was involved in keeping all of this functioning. I do see that Nabeel is working on version 4 of phpVMS. Who will be responsible for VA Central and this sites web hosting after SimPilot closes? I see the front page no longer shows anything about version 3 and appears to have reverted back to the original page (prior to version 3 announcement).

Hi Guys, As of today, I am having to close simual.com. Because of my incident, I haven't been able to work on the site very fast, And my staff team could not understand that, So they said they are going to kick me out. So i denied that and they are starting up their own SimUAL, Any know I own the content and the site. So they said they can steal all the content and site the any know i'm the creator. I am no longer doing phpvms skins for other va's, there are just too many things to be doing right now, but do not want people hitting my site to not have any options. I know I know, someone's sure to say I'm asking too many questions :-P Anyhow, is there a way to integrate or add in the SMF forums ssi? I'd rather post news in the forums and have them show up on the website (instead of the built in news). I've tried and I get a ssi error. Go ahead and yell at me for it, but I added the require ssi.php to the htmlhead.tpl and the code for the board on the frontpagemain.tpl . I'm not going to run it, cause as I said, it throws an error and I'd really like my website up instead of the error. Thanks ya'll.

Does anyone use SMF 2 and is the SSI to show latest post on your frontpage_,main.php? I had a code that worked years ago, that doesn't work anymore. I am downgrading from IPB. Now I remember why I left SMF...lol I can't seem to get it too work. Ok, if i own a VA after a airline but for expamle.. The Airlines's name is: Air Canada and i want the va to be: Air Canadas Virtual and i use the logo but i edit to suit to the VA. but not like the real airlines logo. And some real airlines askes you to shut down due to copyrights, i don't understant why, but i'm not using the same logo or anything else. A freind was telling it it's okay to do that way, but i'm not sure............. If you would clear it up why is that way for me please, thanks.

Well as i was checking out the backend part of phpVMS i noticed how you can add custom sidebars and basically change the whole inner layout to your website. If you go to your Core>>templates and navigate threw there, You can change the layout or add anything to your pages. It came in handy for me because i needed to add a teamspeak block. Be sure to backup anything you edit though.

This is an SOS to any station…help I am lost in virtual space. If there is a kind gentle soul and or souls out there willing to help me find my way I would be eternally grateful. Here is the long and short of it. I as most of you know have been doing the scheduling routing and flying to create a data base for Pontchartrain Airlines. I am pretty proud of what I have done. Here is where the problem comes in. My head nearly explodes when I try in figure out how to put the data into a working airline web site.
