Just wondering and i think it would benefit others too, could it be possible to make a module that when you post news to your site, it makes a post in the forums containing the same as the news on the front page of the site? I plan on getting a book on php soon, when i do i will try and have a go at it myself, but if someone else is willing to have a go at it that's great. Cheers Dan C

Hi all, I am having a problem when trying to log in using both the GitHub Version and Free Version of APVAcars. Here is the error I'm getting: An unhandled exception of type 'System.InvalidCastException' occurred in Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll Additional information: Conversion from string " <div id="codon_crit_error" Line affected: If GetPageAsString("verify", "&pilotID=" & My.Settings.PilotId & "&password=" & My.Settings.PilotPassword & "") = 0 Then I have removed the details from the login fields for security reasons obviously. I am currently updating Pilot Awards System. The next version will include an auto award system. Can you suggest me any criteria? Currently, i have already added the hours and flight criteria. (An award will be assigned after completing x hours or after completing y flights).

So I started working on a project to pass the time now that I am not working again. I started in on a project that will allow users to upload MP3's and have them on their profile like the old myspace type of thing. I got the sql work done, admin panel for mp3 player settings, admin panel for moderating users mp3 player usage, and some other odds and ends. I fear I may have bitten off more than I can chew though. I am working like mad on it hoping to have it done one day soon. Hi all, I currently have som spare time, and wants to refresh my PHP knowledge. I also want to have a nice frontpage showing new awards. So I need a lot of them. I thought you all might be interested in this. This script when run with a Cron Job will automatically make a backup of your DataBase. It will then send you an email with a link to download the backup file. It is pretty easy to setup and works like a charm. Back Up Script

Nabeel what im trying to do is once a pilot is approved then a forum account is created, I have the creation script i just need to put it in to the trigger which i want to be the approve button, or thinking on further maybe when you click the pilots name i could add a button to create a forum account as well. The easiest option would be to get the script to fire reading the profile name email etc when the approve pilot button is hit, so i suppose the question is what happens now when you double click the accept pilot. Hope i make some kind of sence, Thanks

Here's what I'm wanting to do: 1. have a box on the home page that display the top 5 hubs by different stats (hours, flights, passengers, miles, etc.). 2. I want this to automatically change each month so it's based off of monthly stats. 3. I will change which stats it calculates each month. 4. I want it to automatically place the hub with the highest stat as #1 and the hub with the 2nd most at #2 etc. etc. Anyone know the code for how i could do this? Thanks In Advance! Hi, ok this is what i want to do... we are on the pilot briefing page.. the departure icao is EDDT and the arrival doesnt matter for now. the weather map should now automatically show a map of europe instead of one from america or whatever. Is there a way to code something to pull flights that are created by the pilots when they use the charter button on ACARS? Like a long list of the routes and a/c they flew so that other pilots can use that as a tool to choose a flight?

I currently have just one airline running on my site. I've received a lot of requests to add a charter division. The problem is I don't want pilots going crazy and just flying charter 24/7. It would be great if someone could make an addon where it extracts pilot pay if they fly charter flights. Once their balance is gone they have to fly scheduled flights again. thanks !

Hey Everyone, Since my last released module "PilotLogins" was successful (I'm working on the update still, hopefully I have it done this weekend). How many people are interested into having a "Charts_Module"? What it does is that you can add charts for each airports, plus chart types, and you can upload the PDF files to your site folder. And then it will display in the main page with list of charts, but you can search by airport. How many people are interested? Please vote!
