Hello folks, I'm curious if there is anyone able to help me out with a few issues I am having when a pilot registers? When a new pilot registers on my site it automatically assigns their new ID, however in the application I have a custom field allowing each pilot to chose a custom ID. Once I have accepted their app they appear under the recent pilots section but when I modify their callsign according to their requested ID they disappear. I have done a bit of research and have found out that the SQL database is showing these new pilots in an automatic order (ascending) possibly through the pilotid only. Hi guys, as Johannesburg now officially has changed from FAJS to FAOR, I would like to ammend that for my VA as well. Of course I can edit the schedules, but how about the airport database itself (for example for the airport being shown on the map correctly): Is there a way I can change this as well (tried, but did not succeed), or does somebody has to to that at the main database? Hello there! I have a crew center and I wanted to import routes to it. I downloaded the .csv file which was available in the import schedules tab of the control panel. I entered all the details in the .csv excel document. I chose that file and uploaded it. It then said all the schedules were imported. I was also able to view these schedules in the flight scheduled& routes tab of the admin panel. However, when I went to the actual crew center and viewed the schedules, none of them were there. Is this because I might have entered something wrong in the .csv database or is this a bug? Please help. Thank you so much!! Hari

Hi there, I have found that some of my members could not log in with kACARS. after a long search and tests, I found that some Pilot number have numerical digits in the first 3 digits. We have a virtual air force, and this we use airlines as squadrons. Thus for example, 28 Squadron pilot numbers will be 28S0030. Now, kACARS do not pick up that pilot ID. BUT when, for example I took the same Pilot ID, and use any different first 3 alphabetical digits, such as UVS0030, kACARS log in perfectly, BUT then it does not pick up in the phpVMS Does anyone have a idea how to rectify this, instead of changing all my Squadron names? the website is http://www.uvsaaf.fsworld.co.za/inde…

Hey, I'm trying to make an query to get all of the passenger loads columns from the PIREP tables. Here's the SQL Query i ran in our database manager SELECT SUM(load) AS passengers FROM pireps And I got the Query error... #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'load) AS passengers FROM pireps' at line 1 Does anyone know why? I tried to sum the fuelused column and it worked, same query, but what the heck, why not to the loads column? Hopefully someone can shine in!

I've only just purchased a server with Hostgator and now i'm really confused on how to install PHPvms on the server. Can someone please give me a hand to install phpVMS on hostgator. I'm really new to this, and i've also tried to use the manuals and guides and i got no success. I've been following phpvms for dummies and when it tells you to load install.php on your browser it doesn't work it gives me hostgator 404error. Please if anyone can help me it would be really appriciated. Cristiano

Hey, My Live Map wont show anything from XACARS or FSACARS, I do know that we installed the version 2.0.845 but my webmaster says we installed the update too. I'm near to completion on my new VA website, but need willing people to give it a run for it's money, and give honest constructive criticism, before I launch the site properly. If anyone is feeling helpful, it would be great if they could sign up and have a look around the site. It would also be great if anyone could test out the live ACARS and despatch systems. I am in a slight predicament. I am trying to display total hours flown for a specific airline. The code I am using is not displaying the correct output for it. It keeps displaying my total VA hours instead of just the individual Airline I want. Here is the code I am using <?php echo StatsData::TotalHours(AA); ?> If I use these codes <?php echo StatsData::TotalPaxCarried(AA); ?> <?php echo StatsData::TotalMilesFlown(AA); ?> <?php echo StatsData::totalschedules(AA); ?> <?php echo StatsData::TotalFlights(AA); ?> These all show up correctly. Hi, is there an option, module or stat to show the profit of the month? So all pilots have a quick view without looking in the va finances. I want to put just the profit in the sidebar to the other statistics. At the moment I make this per hand, after every flight I had to update it manually thx

Currently creating a new VA site and want to use FSACARS we have installed the files off the SATA site and when we try to send a pirep it throws an error. In the error.log is says [ERROR 26.05.09 15:45:29] PILOT: EZEEZE003 - Error opening report file - EZEEZE00320090526120100.txt I'm sure Nabeel had some probs like this just wonder if anyone can help us figure it out. Please no replies about using VMS as its not the solution i need thanks Nabeel for VMS it got my VA off the ground!

Ok, this now is a genuine problem. I want to use jquery.js to improve visuals of the website but Im having problems with the schedules not being displayed properly and with the schedules_bid.tpl where users cannot remove flight bids. The problem disappears as I get rid of jquery.js. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi friend. We are facing a problem when sending the log to the server. After stopping the log, and accepting the flight, when i send it i receive the following message. DATABASE ERROR, but the log is written to the log.txt file and in the SQL table. The problem is only when concluding because the file ""pilot number".dat" is not removed from FSACAR folder.
