When I went to install PHP VMS after uploading to a webhost. I ran the installation but got an error saying that core/local.config.php isnt writable. Also how do i write the permissions as stated on the prelimanary installation requirements. I have also use www.000webhost.com as my host. Please help i am very new to this and I need to have this site up asap.

I have searched everywhere but couldn't sort it out, this happens at almost every page in my VA except the profile page. Whenever the PHPVMS page editor is used to edit the page, the contents go way behind the design, even without using the page editor, some pages have the same problem like the schedules page. Hi all, Everything is running beautifully on my phpvms site, except for one thing, the pilot brief page. The "click to view NOTAMS" button for the airports always seems to go to a page that isnt there: https://pilotweb.nas.faa.gov/geo/icaoRadius.html?icao_id=EGNX&radius=2 (being one example for EGNX) Also, the airport chars are just image holder with links that dont exist again - http://www.airnav.com/airport/EGNX#ifr (being an example) And finally, I am not sure if its a setup issue or such but the weather graphs dont seem to do anything are are for the wrong country... Anyone able to help?

Hi, I think there is a slight issue with the core_navigation and issueing admin rights through the Pilot Groups. I have added the group "Operations Manager", and do not wish to give full admin rights to this group. I have not clicked "Full Admin Access", but only "Access Admin" and a couple of other permissions, such as the ability to edit PIREPS & Add News. Because this is not classed in the group "Administrator", this member of the group cannot see the "Admin Center" link on the top of his/her header on the webpages. Therefore cannot access the admin panel apart from going to URL/admin. Could this be fixed,so that these groups can also have the "Admin Center" li…

I have an issue with earning revenue from flights in the finances area. I flew the flight and subbmitted the preip, and it took the feul charge, but i earned no revenue from it. Also, the pilots pay shows up on my profile but not in the financals area.

I have moved the website of my va, to a newer hosting company. Except for several errors, which have been corrected, or are only a small nuisance, I have one that is bugging me. 75% of the mails send to pilots do not arrive, because the mails receive a 550 message, meaning that the email address does not exist. Further investigation tells you that the mail has been rejected because the mailserver was on a blacklist. I emailed my hosting company and they said:"If you use the standard smtp on port 25, you have the risk that it is blacklisted". You should use the fixed address and ports. Hello I changed my host to another company , but i can not generate signatures and i tried generate signatures from admin panel (Maintenance Options -> Reset Signatures) but hold on first pilot. signatures folder permission is 775 . Also cache folder always empty . cache folder permission is 775 . (core/cache/index.php 755) and (core/classes/CodonCache.class 755)

When I add a site page, it creates a .html document in the core/pages folder.However when I add PHP script to the document It does not appear to be parsed through the PHP interpreter. I'm assuming because the pages themselves have .html extensions.Is there some way to correct this?

Hello, I have been trying to create a template myself. It took me a complete evening, to finish it. Yet I have two issues. Issue one is, the menu. I have fiddelded out that the menu resides in this file: core_navigation.tpl. So added some code here, like a class. So I get my desired horizontal menu. All of the menus are done, except for the pages. They have a dot in front of it and are vertical. I cannot find the module that is pointed in the core_navigation.tpl. Next to that the HOME button resides somewhere in the middle. Issue two is the recent reports. In the Crystal skin, I saw that these items reside in the <div id=sidebar>. So I created a sidebar …

For some random reason, ALL of the schedules pages on the website are out of line, however, this is the weird thing, ITs ONLY out of line in Internet Explorer, i myself use Firefox and its perfect but other members (the IE users...) see it as out of line. http://members.pulseair.co.uk/index.php/schedules/details/101 Regards, Thomas. put simply, not reporting to site anymore. If your anyones awake, you can check here: http://www.unitedstatesnetwork.net/index.php/acars also, imported flight .csv no longer being added to schedules (I used the template file and left the name as template). Which is actually incorrect as the flights are added to the database, but the aircraft are not listed for the schedule.

Has anyone else encountered a problem posting news and events? I believe we have a coding issue when it comes to magic quotes on a server. Here is one example. Notice no pictures or urls work properly and notice all the extra added characters? Nice huh? This is how our news and events post. Any ideas? I would love to fix this issue. Our news and events is pretty much useless as far as posting goes unless we use all plain text. And my apologies if this has been covered. I searched and found no answers. Here is a weird issue I am having, and it started out of the blue. I got a new pilot today. When he flies, my ACARS Map goes blank. He is using smartCARS, as are most of us, and yet none of us have this issue. I can have every pilot in the VA fly and everything is fine, once this one pilot connects, the whole map goes blank. There have been no code changes on my front page for over a week. I had him uninstall and reinstall smartcars, and we are still having the problem. Any ideas??????

Hey guys, I know this has been re-hashed over and over and I've tried doing what was recommended to no avail so, I would like to appologize ahead of time for that. The issue that I'm having is apparently the Google API key is invalid (per the prompts im receiving) and or being used by another client. I've attempted to update the key, both manually (through the script) as well as automatically (through the phpVMS Google API option) with the same results. The google map will not load, nor will the list of pilots who are flying so I seriously wonder if it's port related or just Google Maps locking us out. Hi all, We are experiencing issues with the registration page. We are using the "Lance" skin, which reading through the support forum a lot of people have multiple issues with, including the registration issue. We've fixed most of the issues so far, but cannot seem to fix this one. Basically, when a user tries to register, they complete the forum, pass the captcha and upon clicking the "Register" button, the page just essentially reloads itself.
