Hello, I noticed there is an option to set jumpseat costs in my app.config.php/local.config.php after updating to simpilot's version. My question is simple; How can I add a jumpseat purchase form in to a page(let's say jumpseat.php) ?

I see that the system has two predefined types when creating schedules: Cargo and Passengers . Does it make any difference in terms of financials, points or whatever when you fly a cargo schedule in comparison to a passenger schedule? or is it there just for showing? The system also lets you define multiple airlines which are then selected when creating schedules. This makes it possible to create some sort of "alliance" or conglomerate where pilost can fly one airline schedule or the other (I suppose there are no restrictions, are they? Hey got a couple or a lot of questions dont have to answer them all but appreciate any help. 1. Going to have cargo division and passenger division for now. Multiple airlines but all pilots will have one airline code "AHL" when they register how do I prevent them from having the option to signup under any of my airlines? 2. I eventually got FSACARS up and running, did a flight, and it filed a treat.... Now when i go to live map, there is still the icon for my plane saying that the FSACARS is closed. I have looked at other VA's live maps and dont see this. I am wondering if I have done something wrong, or if it is normal for the icon of a flight to stay up after FSACARS has been closed down. ( its been down for almost an hour now ) I know it may seem like a silly question, but I want to make sure I haven't screwed something up. Thanks in advance

Good Day, We use phpVMS Version simpilot 5.5.2 It seems our CAVacars has stopped communicating with our website. The "Live Flight Board" and "Live Flights" on our homepage are empty and there are no "Top 10 Landings" being displayed. PIREPs submissions have stopped coming into the Admin Panel as well. ok, I would like to be able to use KAcars tracking logs to import pireps into my site. The idea is that a pilot could do a flight on one airline (using Kacars), and then I could call the log file (which I think i have figures out) and use that log to import the pirep into a second airline that I have. I am wondering if this is even a possibility ? I'm not looking for the code (i am working on that) I guess what I am wondering is how it works (Kacars) so that I can figure out if its possible.

I dont know why. other than kAcars my website is working perfectly on other all Programs. I tested them also. But most of the users need kAcars. But it is not working, or it is unable to login! can any body say how to correct this problem? My website - www.airindiavirtual.com

One of my pilots is French (yet speaks surprisingly good English) and whenever he is flying, the ACARS Log and the Status is always in French. Is there a way to ensure that it will always be displayed in English?

Hi there, I have found that some of my members could not log in with kACARS. after a long search and tests, I found that some Pilot number have numerical digits in the first 3 digits. We have a virtual air force, and this we use airlines as squadrons. Thus for example, 28 Squadron pilot numbers will be 28S0030. Now, kACARS do not pick up that pilot ID. BUT when, for example I took the same Pilot ID, and use any different first 3 alphabetical digits, such as UVS0030, kACARS log in perfectly, BUT then it does not pick up in the phpVMS Does anyone have a idea how to rectify this, instead of changing all my Squadron names? the website is http://www.uvsaaf.fsworld.co.za/inde…

Hello I have tried to install the kAcars module to core/modules/kACARS_free directory and I have logged into the kAcars client and I get a "CONNECTION ERROR" Our website if you need it is http://phoenixairvirtual.com/index.php We are on a paid host and using godaddy as the domain host.

Hello, every time i update my Virtual airlines webpage somehow someway i have to clear my cache in order to see it, is there a setting in the config files for this to stop or have it auto clear the cache. im more scared of when we update something that we are gonna have to tell our pilots to clear their cache after we update the site. any info would be great to overcome this

Ok, my site will NOT keep people logged on?! Whether it is me or someone else. You can log on initially, but then within a few seconds it logs you out?! Any idea where I should start with this issue? I have emtied my cache on phpvms and optimized my tables, but that is it so far. I am wondering if this may be a host provider thing, although it should not be?!

Hello, I'm looking for a possibility to show the altitude beside feet also in meters in the Acarsmap. Also the speed should be indicated in knots as well as kilometers per hour (km/h). I've done some attempts, but nothing is working. I need two other variables, e.g. <%=flight.meters%> and <%=flight.kilometers%>. I tried to multiply the height by PHP with 0.30479 and the speed with 1.851984, but the result is always 0. Can someone help, please?

The "flight from VA" function is great, but it still doesn't pull the correct aircraft. For me acars never updates after takeoff until you land (map), but i noticed for one other person it appears to work on their map......Other than those two small things ACARS has been rock solid..
