This is really getting on my nerves. I'm getting emails from pilots asking to be marked as active, so I do it, bu then they still get the error, and I look at the admin panel - they're inactive again! Pilots can't login, so they can't see schedules, so they can't fly... you get the picture... Hi Nabeel I'm getting a problem on 2.1.934 where when I send a mass email, it lists the contacts it has sent to, but no email is received. The contact form works fine. I've put a suspension on the outbound mail queue on the server and it catches the contact form mail, but nothing is caught for the mass email. I can't work out if this is a server setup problem or not. I am assuming not as the contact works. If it is I'll go back in and see if I can find the issue. Cheers Will

Hi All, Firstly, Yes I have searched the forum back and front and was unable to fix this issue I'm having. Although it may sound familiar, I really need some help fixing it. We recently migrated to a new Windows based Dedicated server and since doing so, Our Mass Mailer hasn't been functioning. Obviously this is a big problem as one of the main lines of communication with our Pilots is through emails. After a long time on google, I have tried most things it said to do so with no luck and was hoping someone here may have the knowledge to help me out? Maybe someone has a dedicated server ? Hi All, I have set up phpVMS on a AWS LightSail Instance and all the features are working besides the mass emailer.. I have tried to enable SMTP and use gmail's (as a test) SMTP server with no luck. I do not know what is causing the mass emailer not to work. I have checked the Spam section of my Email and it is empty. I would appreciate any help I can get on this matter! Thanks. EDIT : I Fixed it! Google was blocking the SMTP!

How do you send mass emails in phpVMS? I would need to be able to email my users to notify them if the site will be down for maintenance etc. I would also like to know if there is a way to make confirmation emails, so that I can be sure that users have a real email address, since I've already had one without a real email address - I tried to send an email, but I got a "email address does not exist" reply.

Hi All, I've searched the forum but can't find any working solutions to my problem. My mass e mailer has not been working in the past week or two. (I don't know if having a few sites connected to the same database info makes a difference for this) It says sending complete but nobody receives an email. Help would be appreciated Jon

hello all i have a quick question would it be possible to add a line to the massmailer to only mail to active pilots(not inactive in phpvms but retired in the database) as the autoretire function doesn't put the retired pilots it inactive in the admin. gr joeri

When i send mass emails im using port 465 = secure sll and i check my inbox and i never receive anything but if i use port 26 = unsecure i receive it in my spam immediately i would love to know the fix to this that way all emails sent will go to inbox not spam box

I have a laptop and i am not always connected to the internet. I found out, that the schedules page looks different when i am offline and does not work correctly. Here a picture When i select an airport or something, it shows me a page without any styles and at all.. it doesnt look like it should. I use this page without any modifications (only that one which does not show all schedules automatically at once)

I have attempted to submit an email to all members of my airline though the system has failed to work. I now have 116 members obviously too much to do manually. I am wanting to send a news update on the airline but so far it is proving to be impossible. I have tested it out by asking some fellow members of my airline if they have recived the message though they never. Any suggestions? ???

Ive searched this forum and all i can see is file permission in which i have done. my problem is that when my self or another member changers ther avater on my website. it says profile saved but wont change the avatar. any idea? im not the best with php and just learning as i go so any help would be perfect. thanks

Hello all, I'm a little embarrassed to make this post, as I think I was the one responsible for this glitch. When a member on my site goes to upload their own avatar via profile_edit.tpl, a message at the top of profile_main.tpl says "Profile saved!" but the avatar is never changed. There aren't any error messages associated with this glitch, which is why I'm uploading the files that I think are related to it. Would anyone be able to help me out with this? Hi, I open this thread to ask two questions: 1.- How can I see the amount of memory PHPVms is using? to monitor resources. 2.- I have doubts in the phpvms_sessions table, it seems that the sessions of that table are not eliminated and I have more than 4000 records. Many of these registers put Pilotid = 0, which also makes me wonder who is the pilotid = 0 ... (Could it be SmartCARS?). Hello, after marking an inactive pilot to active and saving the profile I get the following Message at the top of the Admin Menu. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8339 bytes) in/var/www/web1112/html/va/core/classes/ezdb/ezdb_mysql.class.php on line 282 I have also a cronjob which is cleaning the pireps table every month and no problems with memory issues until now. The DB is only 56 MB in size.

Ok, sorry to bring this up again, but I am getting pissed off that I can't figure this out. Gday Guys I have created my website, nearly done ! finally, just need some help on one more thing. I am trying to use a megamenu for my website, and I can't get it to function properly. It looks the way it should outside phpVMS, but once I place it on my website, it never looks how it should (especially in IE). I wonder if anybody in here would help me, please, solve the following... I'm coding my web site template to have two menus, in accordance to the requested ".tpl" file. Actually, in case the user is requesting the frontpage_main.tpl, it should use one block of html tags, and in case it is any other .tpl file, it should be another block of html tags. So my question is: is there any phpVMS native class + method I can put in the if() statement to check which .tpl file the user is requesting? Id it does not, how could I solve it by simply using php?

Hi there, I have tried to combine the bidding system with the Fleet List from Mitchell (http://forum.phpvms.net/index.php?topic=1665.0), but I have not suceeded. I want to more colums on this fleet list, which are: Flight number and the BID system. We are operating as a business airline, at the time, 5 aircrafts and I want to make our pilots available to book their aircraft direct from the fleet overview page. If an aircraft is booked it should be not bookable to someone else. Can someone help me in merging the bis system into the fleet page. thanks a lot, best regards, Markus
