Hi. I was creating a news post for my VA and noticed that title is truncated when saved. Looks like it is limited to 30 characters. The thing is that the title field on /admin/index.php/sitecms/editnews?id=xx is not limited to 30 characters. Another improvement I'd suggest to this page is the ability to unpublish an entry (checkbox) without having to delete it. Thank you!

I'm trying to create a table in the pilot_public_profile.tpl that will show the Aircraft Usage Statistics of every aircraft type that the pilot uses, so I can award them with an aircraft typerating award. This past weekend, I had a very rude awakening over deleting pilots and VA Central. I'm aware, when you delete a member his stats are lost and if he rejoins he has to start from scratch. What I wasn't aware of is his contribution to the VA is deleted from the data base. If I had kept all the inactive members we would have 123 man roster. We have found out the system doesn't delete anyone, Ours is preset from the beginning at 90 days but it has never dropped a single inactive member so we have to do this manually. This past Friday we were less than 100 hours to role over 10,000 hours and our second award. Sunday evening I went through the roster and removed 15 inactive mem…

G'day All, One area that my VA lacks realism is the fact that we cannot do multi leg flights like our real world counterpart. for example, Qantas 9 QFA9 has a stop over in Singapore WSSS, from Sydney YSSY, before continuing on to Heathrow EGLL, under the same callsign of Qantas 9 QFA9, is it possible to change a setting, or some coding to allow schedules to be added that have the same callsign ? I just installed a copy of phpVMS for someone on an addon domain they have literally just created in their cpanel, with a fresh copy of phpVMS downloaded from the site. For some strange reason, despite the topbanner.jpg file I uploaded being the regular phpVMS one, it displays "Aurela Airlines" Take a look: http://www.nationwidevirtual.com/ Huh?

Hi All, Am I the only one or do other CEOs get the same problem. Do you find that some people join your VA for the sake of downloading what they can and have no intention of flying? Is there a way to restrict download section access to pilots unless they have completed a set number of hours say...10hrs. Then this can be lifted so they can gain access to scenery, aircraft ect. Just an idea would be set the initial account to student (without download access) Once 10 hours have been flown, the account is progressed to download section access.

Here is the issue: Our flight schedules on our website are missing but two of them are showing. However, when we log into the administrator panel and click "flight schedules", all of the routes are shown. However, all routes are shown in the timetable. How can we revert all of the routes being shown in the flight schedules page? Again, all of them but two are not showing, but are showing in the time table, able to view here: http://www.simulatedunited.com/index.php/Timetable) and the administrator back-end. Any suggestions? Hi, Maybe my search abilities are limited and I couldn't find an answer... Is there a possibility to cancel a flight which is currently in progress? I will try to explain the problem. I have started my flight logging with kACARS (I only use kACARS), during climb I had a blue screen (my HD tricked me) and had to reset the PC. As I didn't (or better couldn't) end kACARS properly, my flight is still in progress. Cheers,

Hi all, I am not sure but I think I may have found a way to generate Schedules for phpVMS, although I have hit a bit of a problem I know nothing about how to set the exported file from UA which is a .UTT file extention. I have dicovered that the file can be opened with excel but I have no clue how to set it up to be a .CSV file or how to get all the required fields in to the right table format. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. If I can get this to work I will do a file dump of all the routes and Aircraft so you will be able to download it and choose which Schedules you would like and upload it to your VA. You will still be able to add your own routes but if…

Hi guys, I've been trying to get this to work now for a while, so I thought that someone here may be able to help me. I'm trying to make the URL rewrite work so that I can remove index.php from phpVMS. I've already been trying myself so the URL Rewrite function in phpVMS is already set to true, I really would like to be able to remove the index.php so if anyone has done this before and can help me it would be much appreciated. hello all but mainly our php guru's you all know the autoretire part off phpvms you set a date (30 days and the pilot goes retired iff he makes no flight befor that date. now my question is is it possible to expand this part to something with an els/if statemend ex: pilot registers needs to make first flight within 14day of registration. iff not retire but for the active pilots it needs to be 30 days hope you all are getting me gr joeri

Not sure if this has ever been asked or not my search returned nothing to me. Is there a limit to how many pages one can add in the admin panel? Well I've been watching my acarsmap, it has an error one would help to know where to start to solve this problem. When you're flying with kACARS it shows the distance Wrong, example: If I'm flying when I KATL-KBNA and landing he says he is missing 50 miles, but this is wrong because I got to the destination and KATL. When you're flying with FSAcars it shows the wrong heading, the aircraft are all pointing down 207 heading. Does anyone know how to fix these bugs? Thanks to all.

Okay, I'm going to try to explain this correctly... I have 3 different Award Types that I am trying to integrate into my server. I do not want all 3 award types to be awarded to the same table. I am wanting to have 3 different award table types on the Pilot Profile pages. Is this possible to do? If so, how exactly would I go about setting it up to show different award tables?

I set up a local server on my computer to test my website. I have one small problem with live view of index.php . Ok, I might have asked this ages ago, but if I did, I an not find it in a search...... My main page is: http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/CPC It has NO white line after the header logo. Every other link, such as: http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/CPC/index.php/Whatis ....does not have the white area below the logo?! Is this not all the same from the header.tpl, or is it somewhere else?! It is ONLY on the main page, nowhere else. This is why I am confused. Is it using a different .css file or something?
