I'm near to completion on my new VA website, but need willing people to give it a run for it's money, and give honest constructive criticism, before I launch the site properly. If anyone is feeling helpful, it would be great if they could sign up and have a look around the site. It would also be great if anyone could test out the live ACARS and despatch systems. Any accounts created in this testing phase would be deleted before the VA goes live (unless those who signed up wish to stay signed up). Hi all, I have been trying to test out php pages I make on my own without having to use a free host then use phpmyadmin to make databases. How can I do this all on my solely on my pc. If there you guys have some sort of programs or list of programs I can run together to test out new pages, it would be great! Thanks!

I just did my first flight with XACARS and I landed but now I can't send the PIREP. The "send PIREP" button is grayed out? How can I do this? I checked the XACARS docs on the site but they are blank. I thought if I hit Stop Recording then it would un gray the box but it looks like I just lost the flight I just did. I do have my parking brake on but it still will not allow my to send it. What step am I missing here? Thanks!

Ok so have searched and found nothing. I change the font colour on frontpage_main.tpl and it changes the top of each side box header. It changes to the right colour on every other page though: http://www.vnetjetseurope.com/index.php/Frontpage I've experinced this a lot with other skins. Any ideas? Jon

Hey im working on this new look for the site and when i look under the public profile for a pilot, none of the information shows up..? Same thing when logged in and looking in the pilot profile. Why would it be doing this when i haven really changed any styles...?

Hi all, Here's a stupid question.. I've been having a hell of a time trying to get static text to show up only on the homepage. I'm looking to have some sort of intro text about our airline, outlining what our values and what we do are. I attempted to insert this into the "body_content" section in the header, but come to find out that will put that on all pages. My question is, how do I only have the text show up on the homepage? We at Flight Simulation New Brunswick and its Virtual Airline wish to convey our thanks to the phpvms forum and its members who have helped us. Over the past few days, I have posted pleas for help at the forum and without fail, all pleas were replied to and our system's issues resolved. We are very proud of our airline and to have issues within its VMS management that were not working as they were supposed to was unacceptable - especially to me as its CEO. Well, I hope you don't mind the bug reports as well as the general feedback regarding nice to have things in case you ever go that way. I must say that two or three years ago I started my virtual airline (a jet airline) using a PHP virtual airline system called VAdmin. It seemed great and looked great indeed. The VAdmin PHP software was the 2nd round of development from the developer (free), but unfortunately he never managed to finish it and it was very (very) buggy. Hey guys, Just wondered what should be put in the fields named 'Weight' and 'Cruise' in the 'Add aircraft' part of the admin section. Should it be the weight of the aircraft unloaded or should it be the MTOW? I assume that the 'Cruise' field should contain the cruise speed in Mach? eg. '.78'? If the two fields don't affect the way that the phpVMS software works to calculate fuel costs etc. then I assume it doesn't matter what I put in there but clarification would be great. I have 2 problems with the acars map, when using XACARS(since theres no good 737-300 in p3d, theres no other choice): 1. It would only appear after refreshing like 100 times. 2. After flight ends, and when you submit the pirep, turn off the PC(etc), the acars map says, that youre somewhere in africa still doing the flight that was in baltic/europe(for 12hrs) Also Im using the my own skin (made with bootstrap), and tried default, reinstalling still no luck, and yes, i am using payed host, i put the Google Maps API Key. Help would be very appreciated, all the pilots are killing me with their problems, thanks very much in advance!

Hi, I created my own VA just less than a week ago and all was going fine till I logged in yesterday afternoon and all the sub boxes on the admin enter were open despite me doing anything. I tried to close them but they just remain open all the time. I received a pilot registration but no matter how many times I clicked on it it wouldn't file yet he is in the roster/ pilot list. I then went to the view all pilots list and there was nothing there, yet when i looked at the roster back on the site all the pilots were there. Hello The phpVMS is fantastic and deserves our support: Advertising etc etc. With it, we can do a lot of innovation in VAs But there is a limitation that I believe is easy to remove. The financial part is not completely separated at the VA. With this separation (including the salaries of pilots and added expense), could do much of anything new.

A while back, I created several airlines in addition to Omega-Air (OMG). Some of them were Omega-Air Express (OME), Omega-Air Freight (OMF), etc. The idea was to allow for easier searching of routes. In that regard, it was successful. The problem is, that when pilots have been joining, they've been selecting amongst the airlines.. While that isn't necessarily bad, it is a bit of unnecessary chaos. Is there a way that would allow me to use the different airlines for sorting routes, etc., while only presenting a single one to those joining?

Hello, I hope this is the right thread, my problem with FSFK is that if you send the perfect report but does not send the images as seen in the video where it says how to configure, work with other systems management and FSFK had in the tables BD for managing images and amounted to a file (WEB PIREP), which amounted to tables given directory, but now I see qui upload any images. Someone tell me why not oque to do to get the images sent by the FSFK. Thank you all (Resolved)

I just caught someone rummaging around in my /phpvms/lib directory. One can assume someone wanted the code from one of my templates. Does anyone know of a way to prevent access to the directories without hampering the operation of the site? As for the person who did it, he or she was probably unaware that I log every access to the site and have their IP address, country, browser and system information. If that kind of activity continues, I will gladly publish it all over the internet.
