We at Flight Simulation New Brunswick and its Virtual Airline wish to convey our thanks to the phpvms forum and its members who have helped us. Over the past few days, I have posted pleas for help at the forum and without fail, all pleas were replied to and our system's issues resolved. We are very proud of our airline and to have issues within its VMS management that were not working as they were supposed to was unacceptable - especially to me as its CEO. Hi all. I've just been advised that I need to migrate my hosting - I've purchased new hosting and I'm currently in the process of backing up our VA's website however I'm unsure of what the process to 'restore' the new site to the new hosting entails. Could anyone offer some insight in what's required, what needs to be set up on the new hosting and what's required to bring all the databases and files across in functioning order? We're running Sim Pilots phpVMS 5.5 and the hosts php version has been set to 5.5 but outside of this, I'm not aware of what else I need to change or set up. Any help is appreciated. Brendan.

Hello, We are creating a new virtual airline with phpVMS. The problem is that we have realized that when we create a route, it is mandatory to assign a plane (registration). We were wondering if there was an alternative scheduling system where possible to choose between different aircrafts available at the current location to perform that flight. So in the early stages of testing the virtual airline. For the most part working on the template which does not effect the database or anything like that. In trying to learn the CSV import and export functions, I noticed that there is an option in the Import for Schedules that states : "Delete all previous routes - NOTE: this could potentially mess up any PIREPS from ACARS flights which are currently in progress, whose routes have changed. " , which like I said we are in the testing phase. So If we say have 1,000 schedules as an example and we edit the spreadsheet to have 500 and tick the DELETE, it will delete the 1,000 first right and than upload the new 500 on the spre…

Logged on to my site as admin and go to the news > Add news link Receive this message and I cannot enter text in the editor. The link seems to be http://www.fsnb.ca/Airline/admin/index.php/sitecms/addnews but I do not have a sitecms directory and the only thing under addnews is an image file which is in the lib. Any help appreciated Can’t reach this page Make sure the web address //ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff.htm# is correct Search for this site on Bing Refresh the page must have been a cache problem on my PC . A couple of days ago, Inwas going through the various pages of our site and discovered that there is an issue on our Registration page - a reCaptcha error advising "Invalid domain for site key" This of course means that no one can apply to be a pilot. Worse than that, I don't know how to fix it other than I need to get new keys (from google I think) and paste two keys - public and secret- somewhere. I am not very proficient in playing with these files, so I need a good explanation...anyone up for that? thanks

Hey, I did three test flights and logged their with smartCARS 2. I unserialize the array and on every flight the time shows for every step on every flight the same. 01:33. I attached an image to show you what i mean. "[time] => [01:33]" This cannot be right, but i have no idea where to start to find a solution. Wrote a ticket at tfdidesign but even they don't now why this happend. They said: "We don't actually populate this system ourselves, it's done by the FilePIREP function in phpVMS (though, apparently not correctly in this case)." Any ideas? phpvms 5.5.2 php5.6

There was an aircraft in our fleet called "ANY" I made a bad choice of removing it from the DATAbase directly. When trying to load a flight in kACARS free by inputting the flight number then clicking the Get Flight Information button, we seem to be getting an unhandled exception error in kACARS. How can this be repaired? thnx

Hello, I would like to install phpvms on a Debian 9 server with PHP7 and I am a little lost with the versions of PHPVMS Which version would you recommend installing? PHPVMS 2 or PHPVMS 4? If I install PHPVMS 2, will it be possible to migrate without loss of data to version 4? Thank you.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to install some plugins on phpVMS and i don't know any ideia how i can start the process. In most case the instructions give me the same directions but after transfer all the paste and files to the right sctructure i can not see any kind of modification on my phpVMS. For instance ... TouchdownStats -Download the attached package. OK -unzip the package and place the files as structured in your root phpVMS install. When clicking on an aircraft in the ACARS map, the nav fixes and route will display (if a route is available). After about 5-7 seconds, the nav fixes disappear (the red route line remains). Is there a way to set the display time longer for the nav fixes? TIA!

Hi , i am trying to desgin new skins and would like to show new form to search flight by use RealScheduleLite template here an example how i want to do in frontpage https://w3layouts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/flight_ticket_booking.jpg but when i search or write name or code of the airport it dose not show anything i am using look like form code in airport_search.tpl but in new form in frontpage NOTHING IS HAPPEN , NO AIRPORT SHOW once i click SEARCH i need to forward to flights available template

Hi all, I use smartCARS for our flight tracking, but have noticed that the pirep route map does not show the actual flight taken by the pilot. I have looked into the database tables and noticed that it is not writing to the "rawdata" column. I have seen it working on other virtual airline sites that use SmartCARS, that this should be writing to that entry, but it is not. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi everyone, Since last week my virtual airline can not receive flights reports because the PIREPS function stopped working by surprise (manually or through smartCARS). I tried reinstalling the PIREPS module, the classes files and the whole site using the last version of phpVMS available but it does not work either. I contacted my hosting provider and after some tests they told me it could be a problem compatibility with MariaDB. Last Wednesday they updated their servers, including MariaDB, since then I have this issue. Hello i am transferring my virtual to another Host it was work without any problem , just i take backup for files and SQL DB then upload it to new Host . they give me alternative URL until transferring complete. when i open virtual website in new host is shows error i try several times to solve this problem i found that FrontPage Module when deleted the VA work but said FRONTPAGE Module not exits when upload again problem come again .. Note that all other pages work only the FrontPage

Hello, When I try to file a pirep using smartCARS or the manually form, these are not working. In the case of smartCARS, it works perfectely until I click "File Pirep" and I get an error notice as the site would not be working, but it is. When I want to file a PIREP using the manual form, it redirects to the PIREPS List section but the new one is not sent and I do not get any error notice. The acars map is not working either, it does not show active flights. I have search on this forum but I did not find an answer. Thanks!
