Hey, Is it possible to make google maps draw a great circle line instead of a direct/straight line between the two airports in question on the various maps in the phpVMS system? Also, how can I personally change the icon shown on the google maps? (currently it is the red thingy) Cheers, Nout

I set up a local server on my computer to test my website. I have one small problem with live view of index.php . Hello, everyone. I am trying to add a drop down box for phpvms. Under a about page. I have added the proper code and added it on the phpvms admin page. Well, if I am using a drop down menu how to arrange that within the core_navigation.tpl ? For example I may have a link to the pilot center droping down from "operations" but how do I show that only to logged in people? And also the logout and admin, where do I put my links for those in the core navigation as they also drop down from "operations"? many thanks, roboa

Hello, I have been working on this site with a friend, we have little too no experience but we have been google & assorted other venues but my drop down menu isnt working as desired it has the same problem as some other questions posted but i have had no luck trying to find the reason as to why the drop downs will disappear within 1 second of me trying to click on them, the website is http://www.williamtownvirtual.com/en/ Feel free to browse and try and help me out with this delema but i have stared at this thing for days and cannot figure it out hopefully the many knowledgeable people on here can help me out. I've looked around for a bit and haven't come across this yet, I apologize in advance if it has already been answered. I need to change the schedule search from the default drop down list, to a search box. Both for the departure and arrival airports. I have a fairly large DB of airports and it heavy lags the site when it attempts to load them all under the drop down options. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I'm using 5.5.x

The way my VA works is there are wings (hubs) with a number of squadrons in each wing. So on the registration form, the dropdown values for squadrons will have to change depending on what wing is selected. I don't know how I get the value of a dropdown later in the same form. The value I need is in red, but understandably doesn't work. I need to get the $wing->id for the option that is selected in requested wing field, to be passed to the requested quadron. Hey As you may know my VA, JAL Virtual is a Japanese VA and thus should have Japanese language support but in PHPVMS how can i do it? I have may two folders on my site called 'jp' for Japanese and 'en' for English. Is it possible to run in theory two phpvms sites but linked to the same DB and have the same logins, schedules and etc but they are running two different languages?

Hello, I know I have found it in here before but I've spent about an hour searching various things to see if I could find the thread again with no luck. How do I set my settings to accept multiple flights with the same number? Basically when I upload the .csv for schedules and have 2-4 flights with the same number, how do I ensure they all get added instead of the second one overwriting the first and leaving only one in the system. For example: Flight #45 flies BOS-JFK and then returns JFK-BOS as #45 as well. After uploading the .csv file and by searching #45, I can only get JFK-BOS as that has updated over the BOS-JFK route. Hello When people join my va, the phpvms does not give a welcom e-mail with password or anything. It also does not send e-mails out in the "email all pilots" section. and also the acars map does not take an aircraft off after the piolot has finnished. can any one help thanks

Can not send emails from within phpVMS!! I have all the relevant sections configured correctly with SMTP, username, passwords etc, the email works fine through a normal email client (send/receive) but phpvms won't send. I've searched the forums seen a few possible solutions but still nothing works. Thanks in advance Gary
