HI Nabeel, The past couple of days have been a massive headache, i wont bore you with the details but i have to reinstall apache among other things after an os upgrade to Ununtu 10.4. Now my pireps are not sending and if i send them manually i get, FAILED exporting PIREP #1512 - No response from API server with the list of pirep numbers. Currently were at 31 waiting to be exported. I also changed the name on VA central a couple of days ago as well so that may also have something to do with it.

My site is sending pireps to vacentral but they are not showing on the airline info page. It is showing the last flight as being submitted 6/08/2016 but there have been pireps submitted since then

I would like to give some feedback on the ranking system from the perspective of ZonExecutive. We have moved from rank #24 (old) to rank #132 (new). Our policy on deleting pilots is as follows: Once you've completed your first flight, your account will never be suspended or deleted for inactivity. You are free to take a break, come back and fly again at any time. However, if you do not fly within 100 days of your registration, we'll automatically delete your account unless you've logged in within the past 30 days, or have posted at least once on our forums. Can someone please explain to me why 'greased landings' have become popular and seemingly encouraged on VACentral and the associated stats/scores? Greased landings are UNSAFE and surely should not be encouraged due to the amount of runway used/needed and the possibility of ending up through the nearest fast food restaurants plate glass windows should a gust of wind choose to hit the aircraft? Hi We have an issue when a new pilot signs up on our website their account automatically gets created in PHPVMS.I have checked the following lines in both local.config.php & app.config.php # Automatically confirm pilots? Config::Set('PILOT_AUTO_CONFIRM', false); We would like it so that the new account only actually gets created once an admin has clicked "accept registration" in the admin panel. Any help please ? I've recently noticed that my VA news hasn't updated on VACentral since March of 2013. In my admin panel, under NEWS, I have recent news there. Can someone give me a hint at where to start troubleshooting? As far as I can tell, I've made all the required updates and so far everything seems to be working fine except for the news. Hi We are having a problem where the "Airline Latest Events" section of our airline is not updating on vacentral. this can bee seen here http://www.vacentral...eo_geoairlines Although the last updated date on the page shows that updates are happening the data in the Airline latest events section is not updating and staying static. All PIREPS are getting filed with vacentral and can be seen on the last 100 flights page so it just seems to be a problem with this particular section. As I am quite a noob can someone give me any advice on what to check so that I can track down why this is not working. Thanks

On the new leader board I have noticed our landing rate average is not showing so not sure if we are missing out on points. A lot of other airlines are showing the same as me. Could this be missing code or is this a known issue? Thanks Martin Virtual Aviation Group

There are a number of features that are tied to the phpvms/vacentral api at this time, most of which are out of date and or seemingly unused. My questions to the community are; 1 - Does anyone still rely on the airport lookup function from the add airport section of the admin panel? 2 - Does anyone still use the live fuel prices, most of which have not been updated for quite some time (years)? Just realised in an update out VA Central API key went AWOL. Currently I can see no login page or contact email on the vacentral website to enable me to get our API key so i'm a bit lost on how to recover it. We have a lot of data waiting to export.
