Welcome to Eastern Virtual Airlines! You may be wondering, What is Eastern Virtual Airlines? - Eastern Virtual Airlines is based on the real Eastern Airlines that started operations in 1926 and ceased operations in 1991. January 19th, 2019 marked 28 years since they left the aviation industry for good. Lasting for 65 years, Eastern Airlines flew into the uprise of the aviation industry and left with an amazing history. Our job at Eastern Virtual Airlines is to bring back the vintage style they had. With over 250+ aircraft in our fleet, we currently operate one of the largest vintage fleets known. If you want to see some history on the real Eastern Airline…

AirTran Virtual Airways has recently received a major makeover. We've (more of I) have decided to go for something... a little more resembling of a professional career. Let me kick off with the website (main focus of each and every virtual airline) First off was a complete separation of just a website for the airline from the crew center (phpVMS). That is located at http://airtranvirtual.net/, the main URL. Just something nice and simple... Next off is the specialty. I have taken phpVMS and "twisted" it in a way that is wasn't quite designed for (which was website/crew center all in one bundle). It isn't hard, but then it was, since I had to do some major customization…

Virtual United Airlines (VUAL) celebrated its one year anniversary May 6th, 2012. VUAL began Operational planning in October 2010 and opened its doors in May 2011. In just one year the VA has grown to over 140 pilots flying from our six mainline hubs. VUAL is run by a group of veteran VATSIM pilots, who believe that flight simulation is a hobby, therefore, we do not have check rides. The whole purpose is to have fun! We are an established VATSIM ATO, and our roster is filled with instructors who can help beginners and flighsim veterans learn more about flying. With over 9,000 flights, our real-world United and Star Alliance schedule provides incredible variety and flexi…

To All VA Pilots, I would like to welcome all Pilots to oneworld virtual where I am striving to bring together an alliance of real carriers involved into Flight Simulator to not only provide a professional atmosphere but also a fun environment for all involved. I have taken my experience with multiple VA's and brought each of there best attributes into oneworld virtual. At this stage of the game we are currently working on the phpVMS template but I am hoping to be able to bring the website up within the next few days with limited functionality. A fully functional site is on the cards by the end of this month. We are located at www.virtualoneworld.com and I would very …

AmEuro offers vPilots the option of flying as close to real pilot operations as they please, or not at all. We offer virtual pilots the flexibility to use any aircraft they like on the routes. Piloting vintage jetliners or propliners are not possible anymore within the standard VA operations. At AmEuro there are none of those restrictions. We provide the pilot with a route and a recommended aircraft, but any aircraft can be flown so long as it is properly suited for the route. Not only that, we offer routes all over the world for airliners, propliners, and bizjets. 266 airports in 49 countries are currently served with more being added monthly. http://www.ameurova.com A…

I would like to make a post about our new ACARS program developed by Blackbox Design. They have created us a spectacular ACARS system that provides all of our pilots with an easy way to grab charts, fuel planning and bids right from the application. The application was fairly well priced considering that most of the other ACARS developers were for the most part over priced. The HALCARS System is in its final stages of development and should be released to Hawaiian Pilots by Saturday or sometime before then hopefully. The ACARS system features Hawaiian Airlines announcements and accurate fuel calculations and much much more. I would like to give a big Mahalo to Blackbox …

IPB has a feature called "clubs" - basically subcommunities - https://invisioncommunity.com/news/product-updates/new-clubs-r1017/ Right now, I have this feature disabled, but would this be something VAs would be interested in - being able to create a club within the phpVMS forum to post updates/use as a forum, without having to create your own? Similar to what avsim does, but there's a lot more customization. And maybe only for established VAs, so it doesn't get completely cluttered with one hit wonders. Thoughts?
