So I have a new world map for my wall. I like to start new maps with a new VA. I mark all the cities I fly to on the map. I'm looking for an airline that flies both domestic USA and international. I'd also like a VA that has a large chance of earning a staff position as I really enjoy helping out a great community. Think not of what your VA can do for you, but what you can do for your VA. I want an airline that has custom skins and downloadable fleet, also TeamSpeak3 and custom ACARS is a must! Please Post here your advertisement(s). Hello everyone, I have this strong urge to start my own virtual airline. As of right now, I don't have anything started, but that is for a reason. Before I start, I want to make sure I've got some support and that my time isn't just being wasted. My question is, would anyone here be interested in working with me to start this VA? I would be looking for 1-2 Co-Manager(s), 1-2 Livery Painter(s), and 1-2 Programmers. I also do not want to release any information as of right now on what I do have done, due to copyright issues. Jay from Pontchartrain VA here, we are the one that will only fly the DC-3 for the first year or so. I t has been a while but I have my route schedule and equipment schedule done. I am starting with crew rotations now. It took over nine months to do but it will be worth it in the long run. I ended up routing 943 daily sorties, which created 569 flights. Total aircraft to pull this off 155. I do not if you remember me but I am the guy who is creating a VA to teach High school kids Free Enterprise. The other day I was browsing some of the new and not so new VA's and noticed that at a lot of new "startup" VA's the CEO is doing a lot of flying. So far, nothing out of the ordinary - you'd expect the founder of a CEO to put time in. It is a common phenomena, that if you want to get a VA (or any club, society etc) off the ground, you need a "hard core"... a kind of "critical mass" to get the snowball rolling. Some VA's have the benefit of having a few people that sign up right from the start, or are a result of a merger. Others are not. Hi all, So, I was wondering how everyone prices their passenger flights (ticket price) and fuel. I did a flight from East Midlands Airport to Ibiza and the fuel cost way out priced a full aircraft of passengers paying £320 per ticket, this seems a bit rediculous. So there must be a better calculation for it? I am using "0" for auto fuel prices. How do you guys do it to make it "virtually profitable"

Hello all, Moderators, if this is not in the appropriate forum area please move. Anyways have a question or asking your opinion for all VA CEO's on awarding pilots with flight awards. When you have a new pilot join that has transferable hours and you accept those hours do you award those new pilots with hourly flight awards automatically or do you award those pilots with the hourly awards they actually flew within your VA? We do count the transferable hours for the Pilots Rank when they join but again undecided on the best method for Pilot Awards. We know every VA does their own thing, but we are only seeking opinions.
